23 Armament

"Malaria-kun, I know I asked you to antagonize the children in my Clan, but I felt you went too far. In a spur of the moment, I was the one who sent the officer to make the attempt on your life the other day." Fugaku said, his face oozing seriousness.

"Today, I came to apologize as it was indeed my oversight that led to both outcomes, I'm guilty for both Dobito and your assassination. I've also brought a copy of my Uchiha clans training methods for the Fireball Technique as a little apology gift." Fugaku's face looked somewhat smug saying that, as if it's a very awesome technique.

Malaria opened the scroll and found there were plenty of notes left behind from previous Uchiha clansmen that trained in the technique. It would indeed become a very powerful ability if he could live up to the standards the Uchiha clan has put upon themselves.

"Fire Release: Fireball Technique, can upgrade to Great Fireball Technique after long practice." Malaria read the entire scroll in a few moments and commented. "To think an ordinary C-rank technique could have the power of peak B-rank after practice. It's amazing."

Thinking of how far Madara managed to take the technique, Malaria couldn't help but appreciate an ability with such growth potential.

"Malaria-kun, once you meet up with Danzo-sama could you say some nice things about my Uchiha clan? I know that he was a student under the Second Hokage whom had many grudges with us, but I hope to reconcile and have the clan become closer to the Village." Fugaku asked, feeling relieved the brat accepted his gift.

Narrowing his eyes Malaria smiled, knowing that the Patriarch must've been at the wedding as well. In response he said, "All right, since you're so frank, I'll 'Root' for you the next time I meet Danzo-sama."

"Very well then, thank you for your help Malaria-kun. We'll talk again some other time." Fugaku nodded his head. "I can feel you've already moulded some chakra; since you need to prepare to get dispatched to the battlefront, I'll stop bothering you." Bidding farewell, Fugaku turned around and left.

"Dispatched to the battlefront!?" Incredibly surprised, Malaria turned around and hurried to wash up before rushing to the Ninja Academy. How come he wasn't notified that the very instant he's counted as a shinobi, he'll go and fight in some war?

'Why are things moving so fast? I just want to sit around, research and earn money for nothing!' Malaria thought. 'Crap, I'm already late for class too. Chakra is too comfortable when it comes to relieving the itch!'

--

In the Konoha Ninja Academy, Suzuki Yamaha was looking terrible. He was just informed by a Hokage Anbu that Malaria already managed to mould some chakra, and that he must prepare a team to depart the village for the war effort.

'How in the world did he mould his first chakra in just a few hours? Isn't it normal to take a few days to feel it out first?' Yamaha couldn't help but grumble and lament. Looking through a few lists of students, he was picking out the companions for that little devil.

Crossing out a lot of names that wouldn't survive a week with Malaria, he was soon left with just a few 'elite'-students from the noble clans of Konoha. Since the tradition for a 3-man squad is the love triangle, making two boys protect the one girl, why not reverse the order?

'Hyuuga Hikari and Yamanaka Yamana can both be called 'friends' of Malaria. They're also very steadfast, strong, and intelligent. Those two will have to do, hopefully they can become Chunin quickly and not get stuck with Malaria for too long.' Yamaha circled the two and gave the paper to the Anbu waiting to deliver the document to the Hokage.

Looking at the marked names and denoted reasoning, the Anbu nodded and departed for the Hokage office. Every team must be acknowledged and stamped by Sarutobi Hiruzen himself before anything can be finalized.

Stepping out of his office, Yamaha walked over to the classroom that both Hikari and Yamana was attending. Calling them out to the hallway, he led them towards his own classroom to pick up Malaria.

The girls were somewhat confused as to why they were being called in the middle of class; then they started having dangerous premonitions coursing through their instincts. 'Escape, Escape, Escape' was the feeling repeating through their very souls.

"Yamaha-sensei, why are we going to the first year's class?" Hikari glanced at Yamana, wondering if she also felt as if they're walking into the demon's nest.

"Yes, are there some more pointers you want us to showcase to the juniors?" Yamana reciprocated the glance with a different meaning, 'I have no clue'.

"No, you two are scheduled for graduation today. We're just picking up our final team member before Team Suzuki gets established." Yamaha explained as the girls turned around, preparing the motions for a wild dash.

Before they could take even two steps, Yamaha had already grabbed their wrists. "I believe you figured out who the third member of our squad happens to be…" As Yamaha was trying to calm down the two girls that looked like scared little doe's, Malaria came running through the hallway.

"Not good, not good, not good – I'm late for class! I got too intoxicated in the feeling of chakra putting the itchy liquids to rest!" Panting from the mad sprint he just did from the orphanage to the Academy; Malaria noticed his sensei together with two little beauties.

"Sensei, I hope that I'm not interrupting your fun – but class should've started a few minutes ago…" Eyeing them with a stare that's screaming 'I get what you're up to, but I forgive you', Malaria kept walking so he could enter the classroom.

As Yamaha wanted to explain that Malaria already graduated on paper, and the two girls wanted to punch the guy in the face – he already put his hand on the handle to the classroom.

Malaria opened the door and everyone in the classroom turned their attention to him. Right now, it was 'self-study' of the 'brainwashing-konoha-deluxe' known as Will of Fire. Spotting Malaria standing in the hall with their Sensei holding two Academy Goddesses by their wrists – they couldn't help but uproariously exclaim.

"What is Malaria up to this time? He's already late, and it looks like he and Yamaha-sensei are doing something scummy behind closed doors…" The mutterings in the class began.

"Nothing good, definitely." As Hikari and Yamana heard what the brats are saying, their faces couldn't help but pale. It was bad enough to get their reputation slandered during the wedding, now even the little brats in the first year were going to completely ruin it!

"Malaria truly is the lowest scum of Konoha. He's making Goddess Hikari and Goddess Yamana late for class too. Wait, did they arrive here together?" Obito had spoken to his cousin Dobito and heard the backside story. The image of Malaria in his heart truly couldn't get any lower.

"Goddess? You haven't heard what happened? They're both his women now. They were even kissing and holding hands at the wedding!" Hikari felt like she was about to faint. Yamana wanted to pull out a kunai and stab Malaria in the back of his neck.

Suddenly, Suzuki Yamaha flickered to the door and slammed it shut. "Brat, come here now! You've already gratuated and us four are forming a team, I'm sure Hokage-sama already prepared a mission for us - so let's get going." He fumed from all the noise his students were making.

"Hey, Sensei, we better be doing some wall-painting and cat-chasing. I'm too young and innocent to head to a battlefield!" Malaria complained. The last thing he wants to do right now is live in a bush, baking mudcakes while waiting for his mosquitoes to find any enemies.

Both of the girls felt the same, looking at Yamaha with pleading eyes. "What makes you think I can decide these matters? Let's head over to the Hokage office, we'll know what's prepared for us there." Yamaha said.

Hearing that, Malaria could only follow and started walking towards the Hokage office. Yamanaka Yamana glanced at Malaria and snorted. She was obviously still angry about what he did to her during the wedding.

Soon, they left the academy as deafening cheers resounded from the first years classroom. Someone had eavesdropped and heard Malaria already graduated! What splendid news, that life-hazard won't appear in front of them anymore.

Kakashi glanced outside the window and was thinking of other matters. His father arrived back home this morning, and told him he would be leading a battlefront after a couple of weeks. In the meantime during his rest, he'll teach him a lot of techniques in hopes that Kakashi can graduate early.

Clenching his fist under the desk, he was determined to join the battlefield and help Malaria with whatever he needs. Despite being mischievous, Kakashi considered Malaria his friend in need of help and protection.

On the road in the center of Konoha, completely ignoring Malaria's glances, Hikari took out a sealed scroll that contains information on the Hyuuga's special techniques. She felt that if she doesn't learn the Revolving Heaven Technique anytime soon, she'll regret it dearly.

Yamana wasn't interested in chatting with Malaria, either. She also unsealed a scroll before perusing its contents. She didn't continue styding techniques, but rather took out a Chakra Ninja Sword that poofed into existence. Slinging it behind her waist, she tied it in a easily unsheathable position beneath her ninja pouch.

Noticing that Yamana started arming herself, Hikari took out another scroll and unsealed a pair of Chakra Gauntlets. They were perfect for protecting the delicate hands of junior practitioners of the Gentle Fist that all Hyuuga are known for. Shame they're tremendously expensive to make, so only the main family members got to use them with the elders consent.

Malaria's lips couldn't help but twitch. How come they brought out so many weapons? If you arrive before the Hokage decked out in full armaments, you're basically screaming 'take me to the battlefield!' What happened to the unified front to catch cats, paint walls, and dig up vegetable fields?

"Malaria, where are your weapons? I'm sure the Aburame have a few spec…" Hikari suddenly remembered that this guy got kicked out of his home before he even knew to mould any chakra. Where would he get specialized insect equipment?

'Cough, cough, cough'

Malaria coughed to cover his embarrassment. His equipment is pretty much the polar opposite from the specialized gear the two girls armed themselves with. His is nothing but a hodge-podge of things he stole from others. Grabbing his ninja pouch, he took out a sealed scroll and 'poofed' out a pair of Fūma Shuriken.

Tying them to his belt, the two super-sized foldable shuriken looked like two giant swords with circular handles. If a civilian saw them, they'd think Malaria was carrying four meat cleavers on each side of his thighs - a very menacing look.

Taking out a potion belt, he tied it over his shoulder like a grenade belt. Filling every other slot with pink-mix, the other half with mosquito repellent - he was soon covered in orange and pink bottles. He looked almost like a glowing christmas tree with his green raincoat and orange glasses.

"Are these all the weapons you've prepared? Aren't you afraid that if you trip, a death-zone would appear where you fell - covered in lewd smoke?" Yamana couldn't help but rub her forehead when she saw the 'presentable' Malaria.

They were most likely going to a battlefield where there was absolutely no rules. Pitfalls, earth-release and thousands of other blunt-type attack methods would turn Malaria into his allies worst nightmare.

"Actually, chemical weapons aren't that bad at all. I heard you survived an assassination thanks to a new creation you've been working on?" Hikari couldn't help but reach out and grab one of the orange bottles from Malaria's belt. Fiddling with it a little, she soon found how the muzzle mechanism works and sprayed a little on a nearby wall.

Not noticing any acid reaction happening, she leaned forward and sniffed. 'Oh my, what a lovely smell. It's like going to the bakery, but somehow it feels refreshing…' Glancing at Malaria, she almost wanted to buy a few to use as perfume.

Malaria stayed quiet, not going to spoil the actual use of his new creation. It could be used as pepper spray, mosquito repellent, anti-tracking liquid, and torture methods where you force an enemy to drink a full bottle. The victims would be choking and sniveling like wronged children begging for something to drink.
