7 Chapter Seven: Pet Protagonist

~2 years later~

In a dimly lit room, an 8 year-old was eating some gyoza with 2 other individuals around a luxurious dining table. With a focused view, one would identify them as Kosuke, Shisui and Obito.

~Kosuke POV~

'Having some dinner made by Seb tonight allowed me to calmly recollect the achievements of my past and present. Since I came to this world, I got a system butler unlike a regular one that makes life miserable with missions and punishments, mine just serves me. Rob also gave me the ability to summon powerful zetsu and to remove/infuse will which gets around obtaining Madara's (rinnegan) and Kaguya's powers (black zetsu). Once I summoned my most powerful servant Night Zetsu, I 'recruited' Shisui Uchiha to be the face of the new akatsuki organisation. Then I summoned a physical butler blue zetsu named Seb who took care of us throughout childhood. Due to recent events over the years I got the broken ability kamui user Obito Uchiha the same way as Madara planned in the anime. Instead of getting a heart broken psychopath, I got a devoted follower once I revealed 'certain' information of Konoha, but infusing my will into him also helped to get the wanted results. As of know, Obito is now Shisui's right hand man in the akatsuki, but since both are loyal to me it was just to let him do my issued missions through the organisation.'

"The greatest achievement I have made was obtaining kurama which came in a package deal with Naruto."

Shisui: "I agree, master is the best. Working hard for master is my one goal I aim to accomplish."

Obito: "I will continue to do my best to help master to lead this world in the future as it's rightful king."

"Why thank you my loyal subordinates , today is a great day as I'm going to meet my pet...protagonist which I have been cultivating since he was born. Obito, infiltrate Konoha and bring Naruto here for the night to initialise the next elements of the plan to take effect."

Obito: "Understood!"

"Night Zetsu, Seb, come here."

After a few moments of waiting, two figures emerged from the ground. The figures walked towards Kosuke and respectfully kneeled.

Night Zetsu: "We've arrived master."

Seb: "What's up master. Do you want more gyoza?"

"No need for more food, but it was good. How has surveillance on Hanzo been progressing?"

NIght Zetsu: "Unit rain has been stationed all over amegakure, Hanzo has become weak and ready to 'retire'. We have also successfully replaced almost all of the rain shinobi with our blue zetsu."

"Well the akatsuki base is now about to form, make Hanzo 'retire' as soon as he makes 'Shisui the new amekage for the rain civilians and then close off amegakure from the rest of the world just like in the anime."

Night Zetsu: "I will get it done master."

"Now onto more pressing matters, How many white zetsu have been found and gotten rid off?"

Seb: "So far the land of fire, wind, and water have been 'cleansed'. By next week our operations will begin in earth and lightning, thus eliminating the fakes."

"Excellent work, the trained blue zetsu should have all reached the level of elite jonin so having an army of them sure gets results faster. Including Night Zetsu, Seb and a couple of geniuses also add to my power."

The serious tension that filled the room immediately disappeared through one statement.

What only a few individuals know was that I am guarded 24/7 hours a day by Night Zetsu, Seb and 50 blue zetsu that are sometimes visible and the rest of the time hiding in the shadows. These blue zetsu have been training for the longest time over the years and are the strongest blue zetsu I possess, thus as I complimented them a sense of pride and happiness was felt.

"Night Zetsu, Seb, Shisui leave training blue zetsu and other responsibilities for tomorrow morning as tonight my pet fox is coming back to its master."

Night Zetsu/Seb: "As you wish Master."

'I'm finally ready to meet you naruto'

~In Konoha, 3rd Hokage POV~

'I shouldn't have let Minato died, the village is now weak and my old comrades are constantly trying to kill me. I always let it go as I wanted them to find the right path on their own so I'll continue to hope for their will of fire to burn again. Today I was going to inspire the will of fire to a future ninja of Konoha, making him loyal to the village. Although I don't agree with Danzo's idea of isolating the jinchuuriki brat, but being his only salvation will keep him under my control, thus I overlooked the rumors of "Demon boy" but I'll pretend I didn't know if the topic ever comes up. Heading over to ichiraku ramen, the one place I knew an uzumaki couldn't resist by observing Kushina as they can't resist ramen I began to recollect my thoughts. Naruto has been weird since his birth, despite children developing at alarming rates he still didn't act like expected. The child has been monitored by the anbu 24/7 but yet even with the hateful gazes and exclusion, he just wouldn't cry or show despair. All he does is eat, sleep and daydream, completely oblivious to the world around him.'

As I arrived at Ichiraku Ramen I didn't find 2 things, the shop open and NARUTO! I ordered teuchi to keep the shop open when Naruto comes so that after ramen his guard would be down and I could manipulate him into depending on me but the shop is closed and the anbu told me that he was coming in this direction.

"Speak immediately, where is Naruto."

The anbu around the area appeared in front of me with a kneel.

"Hokage-sama, we were tracking Naruto as usual and giving him hints on his path to arrive at the raman shop. A few moments ago, we felt a small attraction force near him but we didn't see anything. After a close observation, a smile appeared on Naruto's face and then the attraction force began again. The next moment he was gone."

"For your failure, you know what to do now."

'How could this happen, I don't have time to check whether he went home or not. I can only check tomorrow and try again, hopefully he can believe in the will of fire soon.'

~Obito's POV~

I arrived at Konoha a while ago, I couldn't believe that it's this easy to infiltrate it just like last time, just further proving master is better than this piece of trash village. As I continued observing masters pet, the useless anbu kept guiding him to Ichiraku Ramen for his first encounter and brainwashing session by the 3rd hokage just as master explained.

'The 3rd Hokage thought he could take him first but to bad master already claimed Naruto as soon as he was born.'

The time came and it was time to collect the target.

"Kamui"

I appeared next to Naruto, he noticed me and had a smile on his face. This was due to the fact that Kumara has been 'raising' Naruto through his miserable childhood and having myself and Shisui visit let him get attached to us. After a little exchange of glances I teleported us away.

~In the secret base~

I was sitting on my throne with my loyal subordinates on the side. A sense of excitement was visible from afar as today was the day to make the protagonist become a loyal pet.

Obito: "I'm back master with the kid."

"Nice Obito, bring him closer."

Obito: "Understood."

Naruto was placed before me and the plan was about to start. After making eye contact with Naruto, I used the rinnegan to enter his mindscape.

~Inside the mindscape~

"Hello my pet fox."

Kurama: "Greetings master, I've raised the boy as requested and strengthened him with my chakra for the last 2 years."

"Good job, time to unlock your seal."

I poured chakra through my hands and created the seals found on the unlocking seal formula from the anime. Through excellent chakra control the gate began to tremble and slowly open, but before it opened fully the obstacles appeared.

???: "What are you trying to do?"

???: "Do you want to kill Naruto by releasing the monster!"

On the night Minato sealed the kyuubi in his son Naruto he also placed a little of his and his wife Kushina's chakra in the seal to meet Naruto briefly in the future and help him handle the tailed beast sealed within him. Although now that Kurama was under my control so Naruto will be able to handle the chakra and have it strengthen him sooner than cannon.

"Welcome to the party Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. I'm sure you planned to meet my new servant with love and kindness in the future, but you both let him suffer in a village that calls him a 'Demon'. I would have thought Kushina as the previous jinchuuriki would have some foresight in how he would be treated as a weapon. So I'm one of the people who want to use him, and the fox behind the gate used to be a tailed beast but just before you sealed it one of my other subordinates cast a powerful genjutsu on him. Although you did get killed by kyuubi, it happened too fast so you couldn't split him and I could have all of his power at my disposal. Yes all that happened that night was because of me. Goodbye."

As their chakra started to fade only angered gazes could be cast from the parents eyes but it wouldn't change anything.

"Now lets resume, unlock seal!"

The cage with red bars resumed opening until it fully unlocked. The fox slowly began to stretch his legs and walked out in front of me. All nine of his tails were wagging like a dog as he sat before me.

"Kurama, help me locate Ashura's chakra within Naruto and unlock it."

Kurama: "Yes master!"

Naruto was the reincarnation of old gramps sage of six paths son, so he had his chakra within him. The plan for Naruto was to unlock ashura chakra instead of waiting for the sage to do it like in the anime, this was for 2 reasons. One, Naruto will have an 100 times better foundation then in the anime and Ashura's spirit won't influence Naruto.

(Author - The logic I'm using is that in the anime the sage of six paths placed a seal on his reincarnated son's chakra that only he could unlock so that the spirits of his sons would influence the reincarnations. The main reason Kosuke decided to unlock the chakra was to strengthen naruto's chakra so that Ashura's spirit within his chakra wouldn't influence him as once it merges with Naruto's chakra, it will only be his strength with no Ashura.)

After searching for the chakra, we managed to locate it in Naruto's heart where the supposed 'Gate of Death' was. The seal looked weak.

'I guess the sage thought no one would know about the reincarnations and search for the chakra so he only hid it well. Let's use rinnegan.'

"Unseal!"

The seal burst open and the chakra began to flow into Naruto's chakra pool.

"Kurama, I'll be leaving now but for the future, look over Naruto."

Kurama: "Understood."

~Back at the base~

As soon as I awoke I used my will drain skill on Naruto. A pure blue energy poured out of his body until nothing came out and my own energy then flowed back into him.

"I'm tired, take him back. Obito he will be your responsibility from now on, once he is capable train him so that he will be the best as I will have no one useless under me."

Obito: "Understood master, I won't fail your command. Kamui!"

"Everyone get back to your responsibilities. Shisui, Body flicker me to my bedroom, I want...to...get...some...sleep."

Shisui: "On my way master"

Night Zetsu/Seb: "Got it!"

'Konoha is basically a genius factory with the amount of geniuses from each generation. In the future all of them will be made into pawns on my chessboard and I will take control of this world before anyone even realises my existence or actions until too late.'
