{Uchiha Clan Meeting Room}
Hikaru walked into the secret room by flashing his Sharingan and going through a handseal password. He got a few approving glances as he walked into the room and he quietly shifted to his spot by the right wall.
Throughout the years the number of people in the clan meeting room had almost remained the same, every few months they would get a new member but they haven't lost anybody in the last two years. Just having the Sharingan was a cheat-like existence after all, so the survivability of the members was quite high.
Koichi stood next to him like always, ever since Daisuke had assigned Koichi as his mentor he had always been here in this exact same position. While Hikaru first stayed so far back because he wanted to observe everything and he was a little paranoid, he had stayed here ever since he figured out that Daisuke and Fugaku had begun to plot against him since they restricted him from learning the Shadow Clone jutsu.
'It's not like I want the thankless job of taking care of the clan and organizing shit.' Hikaru thought, while the shinobi in the village cared more about status and having important jobs. He was a product of a world ruined by capitalism, he knew the most important thing was to have more money, which in this world money translated to strength.
"Who do you think we will go against," Hikaru asked.
"Probably Suna, they had been grumbling about the lack of missions they receive, plus with their lack of natural resources they are very envious of Konoha," Koichi replied, then he thought about something and leaned close to Hikaru and whispered, "Plus, last I heard Sakumo of the Hatake clan killed some important shinobi that were the family members of Chiyo, the puppet mistress. So there is no way they don't see this as a chance to attack."
'Huh, quite a lot of things have already happened. Speaking of Sakumo he dies during or after this war right? No Kakashi shouldn't have been born yet and he was alive till Kakashi was 3-4 or something...' Hikaru thought, the clues about the timeline he was in were very sporadic in the original story.
While Koichi leaning down wouldn't have prevented other members of the Uchiha clan from hearing what he said his actions simply indicated that they should be keeping this information to themselves.
"So Suna, if Suna is participating then so will Iwa as they won't have to watch their borders for an attack from Suna..." Hikaru mumbled.
"Exactly, so at the very least we have to deal with Suna and Iwa. This is bad news for us as most of us are proficient in fire-natured chakra. Suna is already a bad match and while Earth is neutral, their shinobi know a lot of defensive jutsu so fighting against them has always been a grind." Koichi spoke.
Hikaru had only focused on mastering the Fire-natured chakra, he needed to pick up more Fire-style ninjutsu but he hadn't bothered learning them before because they were too chakra intensive.
Before awakening the Mangekyo 2 months ago, he had just about 1800 chakra, so he could use the Great Fireball technique just 18 times before exhausting his chakra and that meant he would be without support in a battle.
'During a life/death battle almost each and every movement is almost augmented by chakra. You need chakra to stick to the ground to accelerate and make sure you don't slip, you need chakra to stop and transfer your momentum into your fists...' Hikaru sighed as he thought about it.
After awakening the Mangekyo his chakra reserves doubled and only then did he pick up another B-Rank Fire Style Ninjutsu and has been practicing to upgrade it every day before going to sleep.
'It still takes way too much chakra...'

'It still uses too much damn chakra...' Hikaru sighed and closed the tab, he opened his status again and looked at the amount of chakra he had.
'Surprisingly the best thing I did was learn medical Ninjutsu...'

By learning Medical Ninjutsu Hikaru had to focus on learning about human anatomy and focus on perfecting his chakra control, both of which increased the amount of chakra that he had.
The amount of chakra from what he had deduced was dependent on his END and his INT stats, and the chakra control of course helped him not waste too much chakra.

Between the increase in his chakra reserves and chakra control the amount of chakra he can actually use has doubled in the past 15 days.
"When you go up against lower level shinobi from Iwa, some genin level and chunin level shinobi. Throw a Great Fireball at them, and they most likely wouldn't have mastered their techniques so you could copy their defensive jutsus. Remember that their jutsu will cost you almost twice as much chakra so be cautious about your chakra usage." Koichi advised and warned Hikaru who nodded.
At this moment the door opened once again and Daisuke and Fugaku entered the room. Their eyes clashed for a moment before Fugaku huffed as he joined his father at the front.
'He seems dissatisfied, did something happen?'

AN- A change within the clan?
Regarding Chakra's recovery, I'll explain it during the upcoming war. If you want the number then Hikaru recovers 0.1 chakra per sec. So he would take around 11 hours to completely recover all his chakra reserves if he's not suffering from chakra exhaustion!
