Meeting Obito

The sun's golden rays painted the streets of Konohagakure as Minami Uchiha walked hand-in-hand with her two-year-old son, Ryouma, towards the home of her nephew, Obito. The air was filled with the soft whispers of leaves dancing in the breeze, creating a peaceful ambiance.

"Mom, you haven't told me who are we visiting?"

Ryouma asked with impatience.

"Alright, Ryouma, we're here to meet your cousin Obito," Minami said with a gentle smile as she looked ahead.

Since she was looking ahead, she missed the slight widening of Ryouma's eyes.

'Obito, was I born in Kakashi's generation. This is good it gives me two decades till shit hits the fan. Tch, but with these inconsistencies, I am not sure anymore. This world is au, that's for sure but I still need to find out the point where all this changed, find its implications and possible outcomes.

Hah, not to mention if everything goes right a war is on its precipice. No matter what I need to be strong, very strong to be not swayed by the currents. I also need strong allies to back up and I am currently making my way to one. This is perfect, Obito's personality is like Naruto in his early days, I can sway him easily and make him dependent on me.

Let's see if I can take obito in my camp.'

"What happened?" Minami asked when she saw him silent.

"Nothing but why are we visiting him today."

"Oh, Obito's parents had died in a mission, so he his living with his grandmother since his childhood but resently his grandmother 's health has dropped a bit. So, I going take her to the hospital while you play with Obito. Both of you don't have any friends, seriously. Be sure to treat him nicely, okay?"

"Hmm."

She didn't see the cute, evil smirk he had in his face.

As they reached the door, Minami rang the bell, and Obito's grandmother open the door l. "Ah here you are, Minami, I am sorry I had to trouble you for such small things." she said, in a bitter voice.

"Oh think nothing of it, it is our duty to help. Infact I am sorry I am only able to do this much." Minami said in sincere manner.

"Thank you for all the help and is he who I think he is?"

"Yes, this is my son, Ryouma" Minami replied with a warm smile. "He is here to visit Obito."

Obito's grandmother ushered them inside, and Ryouma took in the cozy surroundings with a curious gaze. He could hear the sound of laughter and play coming from another room.

"Obito, your cousin Ryouma is here to see you" Obito's grandmother called out.

The voice stopped suddenly and after some time a child of two nervously peeked out of the room, meeting Ryouma's eyes, he quickly his himself.

Obito's grandmother laughed and called him out.

"Don't worry Obito, he will not eat you."

Seemingly gaining some confidence, he came forward with a downward gaze.

"Now introduce yourself."

"Hello, I'm Obito Uchiha," Obito said in quiet voice, extending his hand towards Ryouma.

Ryouma shook Obito's hand with a polite smile. "Hello, Obito. My name is Ryouma Uchiha. It's a pleasure to meet you," he replied smoothly.

'I didn't expect him to be shy and awkward.' Ryouma thought looking at the boy in front of him.

Minami walked upto Obito and patted his head as she said. "You know, I have told Ryouma about your toy collection and he had been eager to come ever since and he also wants to be a cool ninja like you."

Obito's eyes brightened up with genuine enthusiasm as he heard her. "Oh you want to a cool ninja too. Great I have a bunch of cool ninja toys we can play with," he said eagerly.

Looking at the change Ryouma was a bit stunned but then nodded at Obito.

"Sure, let's go."

"Alright children, enjoy yourself but don't leave the home, okay and don't break things too." Obito's grandmother said they prepared to go to hospital.

"Yes / Okay Grandmother." Came two replies.

Obito then lead Ryouma to his room, it was filled with random toys to rubber ninja items. Room itself was not that big, a bed by the side and window on the other side.

As they settled down to play, Ryouma observed Obito with a thoughtful gaze. He watched as Obito enthusiastically demonstrated his favorite toys.

"Ryouma, do you like ninja?" Obito said excitedly, holding up a toy ninja.

Ryouma studied the toy ninja for a moment before nodding slowly. "Ninjas are fascinating," he replied.

"Hey Obito, have you ever thought about what kind of ninja you want to be?" Ryouma asked casually.

Obito's gaze turned thoughtful as he considered the question. "I... I'm not sure. Maybe one who can protect everyone, like the Hokage" he replied, his voice growing more confident.

'So he had that aim from the beginning.'

"That's a amazing goal to have." Ryouma said with a nod of approval. "But I heard becoming a hokage is very difficult task. You must work very hard."

"Do you think I can become one?" Obito asked in a bit of self doubt.

"Of course, anyone can be a hokage if they have the determination to never give up and walk on the right path. Hokage is usually the strongest ninja in the village but being Hokage isn't just about power or strength. It's about protecting the village and its people, leading by example, and inspiring others to greatness."

Obito's eyes were shining at the end as he saw Ryouma in a new light. On the other hand Ryouma's thought were a bit different.

'What bullshit I am spouting, even I don't believe what I just said. Being ninja is not fun and games, it is a profession that have no mercy or empathy towards life. But I guess he doesn't have to realise it now.

And this is good, I have to upgrade the second most powerfull jutsu in Naruto universe, talk no jutsu'

(A/N: Guess, what's first?)

Ryouma and Obito played till evening and in disguise of playing, Ryouma showed some magic tricks or other eye catching things to make Obito facinated and get attached to him.

As the sun began to set, Minami and Obito's grandmother came back.

"Did you two have fun?" Minami asked but it looked like she already had the answer looking at the bright smile on both of their faces. Obito shouted in affirmation as Ryouma just nodded with a smile.

'Obito is good kid, it almost makes me guilty about using him but I guess not guilty enough.'

Ryouma bid Obito farewell with a warm smile and a promise to return soon.

"Goodbye, Obito. I had a great time together" Ryouma said sincerely, his gaze meeting Obito's.

"Goodbye, Ryouma! I can't wait for our next adventure together," Obito replied, his grin wide and genuine.

With a wave and a sense of satisfaction, Ryouma and Minami made their way home. Ryouma was thinking about the implications of being born in same timeline as Obito and Kakashi's. His smile brightened up as he thought more.

"You sure are happy, did you like Obito that much?"

"Hmm, he is a bit noisy but it is fine. He is fun to be around and he wants to become hokage, you know?"

"Oh, really?"

Minami said with a smile as she watched the smile on Ryouma's face.

After the dinner, Ryouma took out the book he practices calligraphy on and wrote everything he remembers like events, reason and outcome and effect of event, all character and their powers in the event, he even wrote down the personality of the characters. He then kept the book in the self.

Why would he hide it. Hiding would make it obvious there is something worth of being hidden kept there. If someone asked him about it he could just say he was trying to make a new language or something but he didn't think some random someone would enter the house.

He had written it in a mix of languages for to make it impossible to decipher it.

And then he bagan to practice calligraphy but his mind was thinking something else.

(A/N: The main character, Ryouma had not experienced childhood back in his first world. So experiences as a child is new to him. But he has a goal in mind and mind is already grown up.

So what I am trying to say is that mc's personality would be a mixture of cold, cute, badass, gentle, calculating, innocent and all the kinds of opposites in his early years.

What do you guys think?)
