Torifu seemed to sense some danger that other couldn't as well, making hand signs and clapping his hands, chakra overflowing from him as he suddenly began to bloat and in the stunned eyes of Tsunade and others, turned into a huge giant, comparable to the tall figure in the dust.

Wasting no time, Torifu with speed that seemed unattainable due to his huge size plunged into the dust covered pothole, the ground shaking at his every step.

Naoki and the rest of the genin weren't spared from a challenge, a barrage of shurikens with explosive tags attached rushed out of the dust, towards them.

Tsunade and Orochimaru both moved at the same time, the former punching the ground as a chunk of earth was pushed out, creating a wall against the shurikens.

Orochimaru resorted to wind style, quickly making hand signs and blowing wind gusts from his mouth, blowing the approaching shurikens back.

The wall created by Tsunade blocked half of the explosive shurikens, though blown away as a result.

Though this was just the start of the counterattack by kumo, at quick speed six kumo shinobi with slightly pale faces and wounds appearing before them, standing at some distance from them.

"I guess the landslide didn't take out many!"

Said Shinku with a solemn look, reaching out for the blade on his back.

"Blue vest means chunin, it's not gonna be easy!"

Jiraiya though focused on the blue vest they were wearing, the battle gear of kumo chunin, understanding a tough battle was about to fold.

Kagami and Torifu as they could hear from the battle explosions were too busy to take care of them, these six kumo chunin before them, six konoha genin had to deal with them.

"Leave one alive, we have to know how the intelligence was leaked!"

Reminded one of the kumo chunin with an angry face, others nodding as they understood it was important to know the traitor.

They have already identified the main two people who ambushed them, Uchiha Kagami and Akimichi Torifu, two subordinates of the late second hokage.

Even though they had two tails jinchuriki and kumo's grey demon with them, the chances of them emerging victorious were slim so the main task was to retreat and capture one konoha genin for investigation.

There was nothing more to say, the kumo shinobi lunging at the genin with all there might.

The kunai with chakra attached made way towards shinku who bringing his sword in front blocked it immediately.

Tsunade punched the enemy before her, the air palpitating due to the force in the fist, though the kumo chunin cleverly moved to the left, avoiding the punch and at the same time banging the kunai towards her throat.

Though Tsunade didn't panic and ducked, the kunai going over her head.

Still sitting, Tsunade extended her hand upward without looking in hope to grab the wrist of the enemy above her head.

Poof!

Though the other party turned into a piece of log, white smoke around it.

Tch!

Seeing her attempt failing, Tsunade clicked her tongue in annoyance and immediately stood up.

At some distance from her appeared the kumo shinobi who she had just had a brief fight, looking at her cautiously, understanding that he seemed to have underestimated his opponent a little.

Keng!!!

"What monstrous force!! Are all kumo chunin like this?"

The kunai of Jiraiya collided with the opponents, a monstrous force from the kunai pushing him back dozens of steps as he couldn't help but complain.

Fire Style! Flame Shurikens!!

Orochimaru quickly took out a bunch of shurikens from his pouch and threw them at the enemy in front, at the same time making hand signs and blowing fire at the shurikens, all of them coated with fire.

The kumo shinobi with quick movements dodged the flame shurikens and without wasting any moment made hand signs, blue thunder from him traveling through the earth, making it's way towards Orochimaru.

The complexions of Orochimaru changed a little as he immediately jumped up in the air and mid air touched his wrists with a seal on them.

Poof!

With a burst of smoke a fuma shuriken appeared in the hands of Orochimaru, who threw it towards the enemy downwards.

Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!!

And the attack of Orochimaru was far from simple, the fuma shuriken multiplying in the air as soon hundreds of such shurikens surrounded the kumo chunin, who had a horrified look in his eyes.
