In the forest,

The question that had no answer in the book, Naoki getting it a while ago, no sign of guilt or anything in his eyes, he did what was needed, right or wrong had nothing to do with it.

Danzo felt a bit odd at the death of both women at the same and right time, but he saw himself no one did anything to them and they died suddenly, no wound or anything on them, the only reason virus.

As for the strange sensation he felt, though he thought it might be nothing but still he remembered it.

The Antidote began to kick in as the complexions of everyone began to improve overtime, everyone resting at the battle site.

Everyone rested for a few hours before Naoki and other two were able to walk, Danzo immediately giving the orders as they departed immediately.

Omizo Town.

"As long as I'm alive, I'll keep doing my best to atone for my son's sin"

"The children of this town, I'll raise them keeping the mistakes I made while raising my son, mistakes that turned him into a monster!"

"Thank you for putting your life's on the line to rescue the children and people of this town!"

At the entrance near the bridge stood Danzo, behind him Naoki and the other two, the complexions a lot better.

The sun was out fully on the bright sky, as a day had passed since they returned from the mission, after taking a long rest due to exhaustion, now ready to leave.

"Um!"

"Take care old man!"

To the words of the old man, Danzo and Naoki calmly nodded back, Sayuri waving her hand wishing the old man, a little sad for the old man as his own son had tried to kill him.

"Take care, Sir!"

SWISH!!

Shinku also bade goodbye, as the squad crossed the bridge and soon disappeared into the forest in the eyes of the old man, a long day in his life ending.

The journey back to the village was smooth as in exactly half a day's time they arrived at the village entrance.

Though on the way back anyone had hardly interacted, everyone seemed to have a lot going in there head.

"I guess it's time to put some effort, that feeling of helplessness, truly something I don't wanna experience!"

Decided Sayuri to be slightly more active, life was more important after all then being lazy.

In this mission she had hardly made an impact, her quick thinking which she was most proud of wasn't of any use.

Shinku had similar thoughts like training more to improve himself, although he did kill an enemy using illusion but that was more of the opponents carelessness.

He needed to strengthen his illusion technique, also raise his awareness of the surroundings, to avoid getting helpless like that.

"It needs more testing, and there's also the matter of low chakra!"

Naoki was also reviewing his performance, during the battle his chakra had rushed towards his brain and for a moment he was able to predict the movement of the opponent.

But due to few and unstable chakra, he couldn't continue doing that.

And now after recovering he tried entering that state again but it wasn't possible, he needed to practice and fight more to grasp that feeling.

Also there was the problem of low chakra amount, that needed to be dealt with as well.

"Go back and review your performance, especially you two, the only reason you are alive now is because of luck!"

"Train and improve yourself, I won't tolerate weaklings for long!"

"Yes!"

Said Danzo in a harsh tone, his eyes all the time on shinku and sayuri, who kept there heads down and kept nodding.

Swish!

Saying that, Danzo gave Naoki a nod and flashed away, leaving the three at village entrance.

"Well~see you guys later!"

Naoki seeing the gradually setting sun decided to hurry back home as well, bading goodbye to the two, who absentmindedly nodded back, still thinking about the words of Danzo.

Arriving back home, Naoki relaxed mentally immediately, a little smile on his face as the family of four happily discussed the recent happening on the dining table, smile on the face of everyone, a warm atmosphere, a happy family.
