14 14 Unexpected Conclusion

At the podium before everyone stood the third hokage, every student seated before him listening carefully to everything he was saying.

"And as I had said before, those who perform exceptionally well, I'll take them under my tutelage and train them"

"Now it's time for me to fulfill my promise, so these three people in this class has impressed me the most"

Sarutobi's words fell, a nervous look on every face in the class, all eyes on Sarutobi, though Naoki sitting calmly at his seat.

"Those who will be taught by me are...

"And the last one is... Jiraiya!"

"Hahahaha!! I knew I'll never fail!!

Sarutobi announced the name of his students, and as soon as he finished, Jiraiya who had a nervous look whole time burst into a laughter, bragging like it was no big deal, though the sweat on his forehead telling how worried he was.

"Phew!! It seems I have luck after all"

Sayuri who didn't hear her name also let out a sigh of relief, slumping on the desk before her like she had just climbed a mountain.

Saying that, Sarutobi before everyone on the podium burst into smoke, disappearing, clearly a shadow clone had arrived at the academy.

Sayuri felt the world turning into hell from heaven in an instant, yelling inwardly with anger as this was too sudden for her to handle.

On the other hand Naoki let out a sigh of relief, his main purpose was to graduate from academy, he had achieved it.

He didn't care whether he was under Third Hokage or someone else, as long as he could fight in real battles and confirm his doubts.

Soon the day came to an end but before leaving the academy, Naoki received an order to go to konoha third training ground tomorrow morning.

Naoki kinda guessed the reason behind this, but not caring much he strode towards his home.

Kawano Residence.

In the dining room,

"Damn!! You are a genius Naoki!!, how did you finish all the required courses to graduate early!?"

The family was having dinner, Naoki told about him graduating as Koji sitting next to him couldn't help but ask in surprise.

"True, not only theory but practical ninjutsu application, kunai and shuriken proficency, I can't imagine how you finished that all so quickly Naoki!"

Maki also chipped in, like Koji truly left awestruck by the news that Naoki had graduated early.

"With hardwork and some luck, anyone can do it!"

Said Naoki honestly in response to his siblings query, he had worked hard but it was also his luck to obtain the devil fruit, granting him a monstrous power and physique.

"Hn!"

Both of his siblings nodded, agreeing with his words, even now despite being genins, they are not as disciplined as Naoki, he had truly worked hard as they have been watching him following his routine over the years.
