62 Hiraishin! Part-2

{Valley of Hell, Land of Hot Springs}

{11:19 PM, 7 May 78 Yrs}

[Day 104: After listening to Shizune's explanation, you focused on reading through the scroll, everything in the scroll was very detailed and the explanation was quite clear. You began practicing right away, the main principle behind relieving fatigue was to remove the lactic acid that was deposited in your muscles while also increasing the percentage of oxygen in your blood. Like all medical ninjutsu, you needed to separate your chakra into its two components and only use the spiritual part of the chakra for healing purposes. The percentage of spiritual/physical chakra you could successfully maneuver determined your jutsu proficiency. You look around, at the whole training ground, and specks of light green light have already started flickering in some people's hands. You went through the whole set of 15 hand seals needed to use the jutsu and carefully tried to manipulate just the spiritual chakra to cover your hands. After several failed attempts the green chakra surrounding your hands stabilized as a new notification popped in front of you as you learned a new skill, {Iryo Ninjutsu: Muscle Revitalizer}]

...

'Just like that? Medical ninjutsu was supposed to be tough no...?'

Hiroshi was puzzled at his quick success, while the system did make it easier for him to learn jutsu that matched his affinity and was within his comprehension range. Learning a medical ninjutsu after just a few tries seemed a bit fraudulent.

[Day 104: A shadow fell on your face as you were busy staring at your glowing hands, you look up to see Shizune staring at your glowing hands, you quickly stabilized your mind and concentrated on keeping the jutsu active. After a couple of seconds, you heard Shizune ask, "What's your name?". You replied with your name and registration id out of habit and she nodded before examining your jutsu one more time before continuing, "Hiroshi-kun, here take this and memorize everything before next week, there will be a room specially prepared in the hospital where the second portion of the exam will be held." She gave you a slight smile of encouragement before she swiftly walked towards someone else. You gripped the storage scroll before waving to Ren and walking out of your apartment, you walk straight to your house and unsealed the scroll. A dozen books were neatly stacked on your table, you looked through each name and concluded that it contained the basic information regarding human anatomy. Cautious that maybe someone could have followed you back home, just in case to update your file or just for a cursory examination. You didn't wanna give away your identity as a ROOT operative, so you sat down and started reading the first book.]

...

'So the first test was more aligned towards chakra control and aptitude, while this second was probably to rule out people who were not serious about being a medic. Though most of the people in the reserve force would happily go through this program if it meant a better chance to get promoted...'

To get promoted in the reserve force was a little easier than the regular forces, the regular forces were considered elites, and they were on a fast track to being promoted to Joiunin so it was difficult for them to be promoted to Chunin as they had to go through the chunin exams. Members of the reserve force though could be promoted to chunin very easily, as soon as someone has a minimum mission record with a decent success rate, along with a combat power of low-chunin, they would most likely be promoted. Though the disadvantage was that chunin from the reserve force can't lead a team, not until they had at least half a decade of experience.

'The difficult part is to be promoted to jounin, I remember a statistic, in the past decade just a total of 47 jounin have emerged from the reserve force...'

Hiroshi's thoughts were muddled as he remembered some of the things he learned in the reserve force.

[Day 105: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning after a quick warmup left the training ground to the main base. You went to report to Danzo-sama about your results during Shizune's medical test. "...Stop doing missions with the others, focus on getting into the medical program... look for books and scrolls about medical ninjutsu in the archive and see if you find anything helpful, but don't focus on learning any new jutsus, Tsunade would be able to figure out that you knew the jutsu without being taught..." You nod as he dismissed you from the room, you wanted to research more into Hiraishin but memorizing medical knowledge took priority.]

...

'Fuck, that was not something I was expecting to happen, will he now not allow me to look at summoning contracts because of this...'

Hiroshi was frustrated with this outcome, if he had known doing good on the test would interfere with his plan to try and learn Hiraishin, then he would have convinced his counterpart to throw the test through some excuse. Even still he could see why Danzo would give this task to him. Because he was controlled by Katoamatsukami, he didn't have a curse seal on his tongue. Having someone in Tsunade's new program that couldn't be linked to him easily was an asset more important than him trying to figure out a new seal that possibly may or may not work.

'Plus Danzo would most likely have more skilled fuinjutsu experts working on the barrier seal anyway.'

It was a situation that he didn't want to see but the simulation continued while his counterpart followed orders like a good little puppet.

[Day 106: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning after a quick warmup left the training ground and back to your home. You spent the whole day learning about the locations and angles of various bones.]

[Day 109: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning after a quick warmup left the training ground and went to the main base, as you finished memorizing all the scrolls you started reading the medical books in the archive, after hours of reading you feel like you have gained a better understanding of how to better manipulate your chakra when it is broken down into its two fundamental counterparts. You tried applying your new understanding to {Iryo Ninjutsu: Muscle Revitalizer}. {Iryo Ninjutsu: Muscle Revitalizer} levels up to Lvl 2.]

...

[Day 111: You woke up and went to the hospital early in the morning, you weren't the first one to arrive and there were several genin already there trying the {Iryo Ninjutsu: Muscle Revitalizer} on each other, you notice that almost everyone's chakra was quite stable as they took turns practicing. You just waited on one corner and waited for Shizune to arrive.]

...

'Please tell me there are no more tests after today, I want to go back to Fuinjutsu after getting through this.'
