Team Tora had set up camp in a clearing nearby river Yogi, they have traveled quite a lot of distance through the Land of Fire and were approximately 2 day's journey away. Since they were nowhere close enough to Konoha everyone voted to set up camp for the first two days before legging it to Konoha on the third day without resting. Luckily Hiroshi got the last shift so he didn't have to wake up to keep watch and then go back to sleep again. Truthfully though he didn't sleep all that much.
The first couple of hours were Tora's shift so out of principle Hiroshi only pretended to sleep, after that during Eiko's shift when he was pretty sure Tora was asleep, only then did he go to sleep. Ren and Mitsuru got the shorthand of the stick as they had to wake up for their shift only to go back to sleep again. Still, it didn't give any right for Ren to kick him awake, Hiroshi looked at the river, and a revenge plan floated in his mind which he shook it away in favor of upgrading his stats.
Fuinjutsu, it was almost an extinct art with only a handful of users left that were able to do more than seal inanimate objects into scrolls. Hiroshi was always fascinated with seals, having watched everything happen in his last life, he knew just how powerful and effective Fuinjutsu was. But try as he might, he was not able to make anything, the real knowledge besides making a simple storage scroll was hoarded by Konoha in the Jounin Library.
The only way he was told that he would be able to get access to that knowledge without becoming a jounin was to be proficient enough to modify a storage seal into something else. Hiroshi was able to make a storage seal, it wasn't that hard to copy and paste ink onto a scroll, although his first few attempts at the unfamiliar kanji were atrocious, the storage seal was a simple seal, after imagining the seals as simple circuits he was able to get one working. But for some reason, he always had to look up the seal again and again instead, he could not remember the seal no matter how hard he tried.
'I always ignored that because I thought it was something like I wasn't suited to learn Fuinjutsu, but when I upgraded my memory I unlocked some knowledge that my brain suppressed about Fuinjutsu. All hidden stats create blocks regarding some abilities, maybe memory creates blocks on theory-related abilities like Fuinjutsu and maybe Jutsu creation. The 3 most prominent memories that I unblocked were related to Fuinjutsu and insights onto how Jutsu work...'
Most of Hiroshi's understanding regarding this system was just guesswork, who knows how true any of it was but he at least had a strong feeling that he was walking in the right direction. Anyway, he has upgraded Comprehension to B-, so he could leave this stat alone for some time, it took him 18,500 points for the upgrades. He still had a lot of points left and just leaving them didn't seem like a good idea. So he focused on Memory next, it was both a roadblock to his INT stat and also he wanted to see what happens when he upgraded Memory through a major bottleneck. He clicked the upgrade button and two memories immediately assaulted him.

Hiroshi closed his eyes as the memories kept flickering in his head, he was a little glad now that he hadn't done the upgrades during the previous day while they were tree-hopping. It wouldn't have been a nice way to die, he could just imagine what his tombstone would look like.
