[Day 93: It's been 2 days since you started reading up on the basic principles of summoning seals. The basic principle behind the summoning seals could be understood as the most elementary space-time jutsu. After 2 days of trying to create the seal you successfully managed to summon a shuriken from a specifically linked scroll and managed to learn the skill, {Basic Linked Summoning scroll.}]

'So I learned something like summoning shuriken or kunai's from far away by channeling chakra through a linked seal. It is a rudimentary version of a space-time fuinjutsu, and although it could be useful, it wasn't something I had in mind.'
Hiroshi was looking forward to being able to reverse-summon himself out of tough situations, like how the toads could reverse-summon Jiraya away, he wanted to set a safe house as a base location, and if he was in any trouble he could unfurl a scroll and escape whatever situation he found himself in.
'It seems like it won't be as easy as I thought but it should theoretically work, the 3 sage lands were also real locations hidden somewhere in the elemental nations. So someone must have created those summoning contracts, I just need to get something close to that, then maybe my clones could reverse summon me...'
Everything was just theory right now but it was still a good option that he would like to have. He focused on the simulation but it had gone back to be just a record of his attempts and failures.
[Day 94: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning, after doing a couple of hours of morning exercise, you notice the discomfort you were feeling, and a quick check revealed that there was no change in your stats and they were still fixed at 50. You quickly left the training ground and sneaked into the main base from the hotel's hidden entrance. You spent the whole day trying to learn the second summoning seal but your results were ultimately unfruitful.]

[Day 95: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning, you decrease the amount of physical conditioning and after a quick warmup left the training ground to the main base. After another day of unsuccessful attempts, you walk back to your house and prepared to go to sleep when an unexpected guest knocked on your door. You notice Ren standing in front of your door and ducking to avoid a punch aimed at your head as you back away. Ren vented his frustration at you for a bit before he screamed at you for some moments before he abruptly turned away and left.]

'...He's a tsundere alright.'
Hiroshi shook his head as he thought about his possibly only friend in this world, his departure was abrupt so he wasn't able to talk to Ren before leaving, to be honest, even if he had time he wouldn't have told him anything.
'But something akin to a last meal would have been nice...'

[Day 97: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning, you decrease the amount of physical conditioning and after a quick warmup left the training ground to the main base. While you were focusing on the seals Danzo-sama summoned you to his office. You arrived at the office within a couple of minutes and the door was open, "Tsunade would be back tomorrow, there is a small welcoming ceremony planned for her return, mingle and check around if anything is different."]

'So Naruto succeeded, at least nothing changed with the timeline, nothing too alarming at least...'
By now Hiroshi had also figured that Danzo was cautious about changing the timeline too, it was not that Hiroshi cared too much about changing shit in the simulation, as long as he got a chance to learn new stuff everything works for him, his primary objectives for this simulation were already done anyway.
'Though I wouldn't say no to more fuinjutsu knowledge...'
Hiroshi actually forgot about the space-time jutsu, it has been years since he arrived in this world so his knowledge wasn't perfect, plus the only space-time ninjutsu except for Kamui that was highlighted in the show was the Haishirin, and that fuinjutsu was described as too advanced for him to focus on so he genuinely forgot to include space-time ninjutsu in his plans for powerups.
'If I could just get enough knowledge to create a seal or something to be able to summon or reverse summon clones and other living creatures then it would be a massive leap for my survivability.'
Hiroshi's thoughts began wandering as the day Tsunade arrived back in Konoha came close.
[Day 99: You woke up and went to Training Ground 21 for a round of physical conditioning, after a quick workout, you went back to your room and took a shower before rushing to join the rest of Konoha, everyone cheered as Tsunade-sama walked into town, Naruto was waving his hands like a lunatic and he scene was extremely familiar. You sneak away and report to Danzo-sama that everything looks okay. He dismissed you so you went back to working on the Blood Contract: Summoning seal.]

[Day 103: After almost 9 days of constant failure, you managed to figure out how to make the Blood Contract: Summoning seal work. The contract worked almost like a DNA lock as it allowed someone to summon the object through which the contract seal was attached. After reading through the description of your new skill, {Fuinjutsu: Blood Contract Summoning}. You quickly found a rabbit and attempted to form a blood contract with it, although you managed to transcribe the seal upon it, the only thing you managed to summon was a burst of meat and blood as the rabbit was torn to shreds.]

'The seal should have worked on the rabbit, maybe the skill level isn't high enough to summon something as big as a rabbit, what else could have interfered with the process.' Hiroshi thought as he tried to isolate potential problems.
Since both the skill and the results were just lines of text on the simulation log, it was hard for Hiroshi to pinpoint exactly what went wrong with the experiment. He guessed the reason could be the fact that the rabbit was reluctant and maybe resisted the seal which led to the implosion. Or his skill wasn't enough to actually attempt this summoning.
'Or maybe this technique isn't suited for contracts with living things, the summoning contracts could be higher rated contracts that were while similar in nature maybe worked through entirely different mediums... at any rate, let's continue, the scroll was only focused on summoning seals so maybe I need something related to summoning contracts for this to work...'
Hiroshi kept thinking about it but suddenly his expression changed as he read through the next passage.
[Day 103: After cleaning up the gore and blood you went back to the archive to search for scrolls about summoning contracts, but after searching for a bit you weren't able to find anything. You pondered for a moment before you went towards Danzo-sama's office, you knocked on the office door and waited for a bit.]

'It actually worked, as long as my thoughts were aligned and whatever I wanted to accomplish was related to ROOT's benefit then I can influence my actions in the simulation.'
Hiroshi had deducted that something like this should work but it has never worked till now, Hiroshi was sure there were several other constraints on his actions but as long as he manipulated Danzo's orders, something could be done.
'At the very least I should be able to look at a summoning contract...'

AN- I know the simulation is taking longer than expected, but unless Danzo orders Hiroshi in the simulation to kill himself that won't happen, just bear with me, the situation should start getting more interesting from the next chapter onwards.
