25 5th Simulation! Part-7

{Kōchiyo Village, Land of Fire}

{10:27 AM, 18 March 78 Yrs}

[Day 116: It's been a day since you woke up, thankfully there haven't been any experiments, or at least not any that you were aware of. Your eyes though were still bandaged but the tingling had almost disappeared.]

[Day 117: You heard two people come to your room/cave. There was a lot of shuffling sound along with muffled grunting, but Orochimaru's voice got your attention, after his weird laugh he spoke, "Well, Hiroshi-kun, it seems that your eyes are all healed, so let's got those bandages off you." You felt someone, most likely Kabuto move to your side as with two swift swipes of something the bandages fell. You opened your eyes instinctively only to see blobs of color for a few seconds before everything started getting into focus. You were in a cave as you had guessed with candles used for illumination, Orochimaru was smirking his hands on his chin as he looked at you, the shuffling and grunting came from a bound Ren who looked terrified and betrayed. You did a small double back and Orochimaru started laughing again, "Kekkkekkew... how do you like my gift Hiroshi-kun, I asked Kabuto to look in your past and the only person you talked to that was more than a sentence was Ren. So I bought you a friend to accompany you." You controlled your expression keeping your face blank but a faint look of resignation did slip through.]

'Alright, forget about Ren for now this is just a simulation, I need to survive and live longer right now. Try to get Orochimaru to focus his attention on something else...'

[Day 117: You forcefully pulled your gaze back to Orochimaru more specifically, your eyes traced his hands so you asked, "So your sensei didn't surprise you with the Death Reaper Consuming Seal this time?" Orochimaru's smirk widened, "Kekkkekkew... your powers are marvelous Hiroshi-kun." His eyes gleamed with excitement and you know just digging your eyes out won't be the last thing he would try in an attempt to gain access to it. So you spoke, "How long has it been, have you sent the sound 4 to kidnap Sasuke from Leaf yet?" You wanted to flaunt your knowledge a little bit to make sure that he won't dissect you in an overzealous attempt. He had already taken some cells from your spine so you know he would be satisfied for a little bit at least before he tried anything else, in the meantime you needed to prove that you were more valuable alive than dead.]

'Using Sasuke should be the perfect bait, Orochimaru's desire for the perfect body should distract him somewhat so that you could take your new seal for a try.'

[Day 117: As Orochimaru pondered on what to tell you, you focused on the notifications that were bugging you, you were healthy but your physical condition has improved by a huge margin. All STR was at 123, VIT at 139, AGI at 112, and DEX at 142. You weren't sure what happened to your hidden stats but the {Cursed seal of Earth(incomplete)} trait has changed a little to {Cursed seal of Earth}. It felt like the difference between the version 1 cursed seal and the version 2 cursed seal. You focused on using the seal and immediately it started pulsing, you felt like it was burning as the curse mark started flaring and seals started crawling to the left side of your body, you were immediately filled with strength as you felt a strange energy flowing through your chakra coils. You opened your status to see that each physical stat gained a +50 boost and your chakra almost doubled. "Kekkkekkew... amazing Hiroshi-kun, I never expected you to be able to use the curse seal so well, Kekkkekkew." You turn around to notice Orochimaru giving you the hungry look once again, you stopped trying to use the seal, and the marks on your body retreated back to your neck. As if defying everything Orochimaru's grin widened further, you felt a little weak and exhausted after using the seal and look to see that every physical stat now had a -25 modifier.]

'Alright this should work, the seal should be counted in my strength right, my stats are borderline low jounin now, and I'm sure if I push the curse seal to version 2 then I should be able to get across that barrier.'

[Day 117: You hopped off your bed to really look around, the room wasn't small, even after having 3 people in the room along with a struggling Ren there was plenty of space in the room, you turn to Orochimaru and asked, "So this leaves us at an impasse, you want to both know the future and other information so you want to run some experiments on my body, I on the other hand want to live. So tell me what works for you and I'll see if we can manage this..." He chuckled once again as he threw a kunai towards you, "Kekkkekkew, you only-" You chucked the kunai straight through Ren's throat, his eyes wide as he stared at you but you turn to Orochimaru, one in part to not look at Ren as his body collapsed, other to see his reaction. You were sure that he wasn't expecting you to do this so you hit him right on the one spot you know should work, "I just want to survive..." You know there is no point in trying to justify killing Ren, it was wrong but he did it, it was the difference between surviving and thriving.]

'...'

Hiroshi stared at the last paragraph that he read, he knew that it was just a simulation, but his thoughts turned to the jumbled mess that he was in. He was in a world that was once like the simulation was to him right now, a 2-D world that was just texts and pictures. Maybe if this situation repeated he would do the same thing, choosing to survive than to die a pointless death. But he had a better way.

'I just have to be strong enough that I won't actually ever be forced into this situation...'
