Dinner

"So that's how it is huh?"

A teenage boy with dark red hair and a lean body said while holding his head. He just woke up from what he would explain as a nightmare.

"Who would have thought I'd end up here…" He got off his bed and looked at himself in the mirror.

He is Kuroi Uzumaki, a 13 year old body who is at the start of his life. But currently he is no longer just 'him', just a few minutes ago he managed to remember all the memories of his previous life, where the world he is currently in is nothing but a piece of fiction.

"Damn, I sure am hot." He commented while looking at his appearance. While just being 13, he was already 5'3 and had a muscular frame along with an attractive face with charming blue eyes.

"I really can't believe I'm in the Naruto verse." He commented while looking at the outside from his window. It was very early in the morning and the sun hadn't risen yet so it was still dark. But he was able to see the mud road and old style buildings.

'From my new memories, me in my previous life wished for an essence right? Where is it?' He looked around his room. Nothing stood out any different from normal, and just as he was about to give up, he felt something in his pocket.

'?' He took whatever was in his pocket and was surprised to find a small vial.

"What the hell? I don't remember having something like this" He opened the small black vial and looked at what was inside it. It looked like just water.

"Could this be my essence?" He thought and decided to drink it to be sure. In the worst case he may have food poisoning.

"Not gonna lie that tasted awesome." He wiped his mouth and slowly a smirk spread across his lips as a stream of unknown knowledge flowed into his brain.

"FUCK YEEAAAHHH!!" He shouted loudly, not even concerned about his neighbours getting disturbed.

It's not his fault either, after all everybody would have reacted the same after getting what he just got.

"Essence Of Assimilation huh? Is this beginner's luck?" Since his past life's memories weren't that good, he couldn't remember clearly if he wished for it or just got it.

'From what the thing explained, I will be provided with 10 points monthly for my entire life. It will cost me 10 points to 'draw' a character from across the omniverse to assimilate with them. I can assimilate with any aspect, from appearance to even biology, so I'm gonna be hella broken.'

"That said, my current physique is not a joke either." He looked at a steel water bottle on top of a table in his room. And suddenly a glowing chain came from his back and penetrated the bottle, piercing through it easily. This is his Kekkai Genkai, 'The Adamantium Sealing Chains'. A special trait of Uzumaki Clan, the clan which he is from.

He is one of the few remaining survivors of that clan, he was rescued by the Konoha shinobis who arrived at the destroyed Uzumaki lands. 

"As a Genin I can't take today off… guess I'll just sleep for a bit." He jumped back into his bed to sleep again and start his brand new life in a new world from the next day.

[Five seconds later]

'Wait a fucking minute! I should use my first 10 points!' Remembering he has his first 10 points, he got up and used the points to draw a character.

Immediately the knowledge of his character flowed into his brain.

"[Portgas D. Ace] huh? Time to change my rank I guess."

The sun shined brightly in Konoha, the streets were full and people were doing their jobs. The sky was clear and blue devoid of any clouds which only pissed off a single person in the whole village.

Inside the large hokage office, an old Hiruzen, the Third Hokage could be seen seated, smoking on some weed imported from the hidden village of grass. He was looking through the record of a certain Genin.

Opposite to him, another old man was seated. It was none other than Danzo, the cyclops. He is here because he wanted to get the young Uzumaki to himself and control him and make him the next Jinchuriki if the current one 'accidentally' loses control.

"Hmm… Kuroi-kun's achievements are great. He's just been a Genin for a year and he's already stronger than any genin of his generation."

"That's why you should send him to the root. I will cultivate him to the fullest of his potential."

*Fuuu* Hiruzen took a puff, "That's not for you to decide Danzo. He's a full-fledged ninja of Konoha, I can't force him to do something like that. He has already shown disinterest in joining my Anbu, what makes you think he'll join the roots?"

"Don't act like you're an honest man Sarutobi! We both know all the things you did!." Danzo got angry at him for saying Anbu is more powerful than his root.

"And I lost my wife and eldest son due to my sins!" Hiruzen was also angered and slammed the table. Making a loud bang.

"*Tch* Whatever." Danzo clicked his tongue in annoyance and placed a scroll on the table. "The main reason I'm here is due to the Uchihas"

Hiruzen sighed internally, he knew his friend hated the Uchihas for a very long time. He picked up and opened the scroll expecting it to be some controversy Danzo created in his mind.

Reading the contents, Hiruzen's eyes widened and the pipe on his mouth fell down. Danzo smirked slightly looking at Hiruzen's reaction, slightly happy that his plan was going to work.

"Is this true!?" Hiruzen asked Danzo.

"Yes. The Uchihas are planning a coup."

That flamed the fear of Uchihas in Hiruzen's heart, which may lead to the cause of creating a broken genius and a vengeance seeking emo.

"So that's Ichiraku's ramen shop and a little further is the famous Dango shop too. Noted." An enthusiastic Kuroi could be seen walking down the streets of Konoha. It's already evening, he just finished his C-Ranked mission and handed a report to the official there and is now casually taking a stroll on the streets.

Since he assimilated with [Ace], he is no longer normal. All of his attributes got enhanced. From Stamina, speed, agility, reflex, durability and strength.

"I have to say One Piece characters are built different." He commented as he walked.

His whole chakra reserve which was already enormous was now triple the previous size. His physical power is no joke either as in his mission early, he accidentally uprooted a tree by applying a little more strength. He was lucky that he wasn't in a team otherwise he's have been found out.

While most Genins prefer to complete missions as a team, there are a few like Kuroi who take on solo missions. Mainly because they don't have to split the money but it does come with its own risk as there is a high chance that one may fail a mission. And failure is a bad thing for shinobis so they take it very seriously.

In fact only a few shinobis are even allowed to take solo missions. Kuroi, whilst having a 100 percent success rate in his missions with a staggering 104 C-ranked missions and numerous D-ranked ones is still not allowed to take a B-ranked mission until he becomes a Chunin.

"Just clearing out the bandits was fucking boring though." He commented.

For him, who may very well be the strongest human without using any chakra enhancements, just clearing a few bandits who were wreaking savage in the trading path was a bit underwhelming.

'Is that Kushina!?' He suddenly got surprised looking at a woman with long red hair, just like him. She was talking with another blue haired woman. Near both of them two small boys were standing and looking at each other shily.

'Fuck! I keep forgetting that this world is an AU.' He remembered. In this world, unlike the original where both Minato and Kushina died, here only Minato died and the nine-tailed fox was sealed into Kushina. At least that was the official statement.

'But I can literally see Kurama's chakra surrounding Naruto'

While he wasn't a sensor before, Assimilating with [Ace] provided Kuroi the ability to use all three types of chakra. While he wasn't a master in any of those, he wasn't a newbie either. The whole day Kuroi played with them and assimilated with [Ace]'s memory of Haki so he knew how to use them.

"Oh! Kuroi-kun!" Kushina spotted Kuroi and immediately called him out. As the only other Uzumaki in the village other than her, of course she knew him.

"Hello Kushina-san." Kuori adopted a polite smile and approached them, his memories of meeting Kushina as a kid surfaced again.

"Look at you, you're almost my height." She stood near him and compared heights with him. "The last time I say you you just reached my hip!"

"Well… I trained hard.." Kuroi was a bit overwhelmed by her enthusiasm.

"I can see that. Your muscles are huge for someone your age!" She just grabbed his biceps without a notice, "This is rock hard! Mikoto try touching them too!"

"*Cough* Kushina behave yourself, he looks uncomfortable, " Mikoto said while being happy that her friend is getting enthusiastic as she was before Minato's death.

Kushina looked at Kuroi's face which was flustered and immediately released his hand, "I'm sorry Kuroi-kun, I was just happy to see you again after all these years."

"It's ok Kushina-san," Kuroi maintained his smile, "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing very fine. Except when this rascal decided to do something stupid." She boinked Naruto's head slightly making him annoyed and Sasuke who saw that smiled.

"MOM! I'm not a rascal!" Naruto whined loudly, making the others laugh.

"Um- are you a shinobi?" Sasuke finally asked, overcoming his shyness. He noticed Kuroi's forehead protector on his shoulder.

"Yeah, I am." Kuroi knelt down to Sasuke's level and patted his head, "I'm a Genin to be specific. If luck serves, I may become a Chunin this year."

"Hah, My brother is already a Chunin you know? When I grow up I'm gonna catch up to him in no time!"

"Sasuke! You shouldn't be rude! Please excuse him, Kuroi-kun." Mikoto pinched Sasuke's cheek, fearing that he may have hurt Kuroi. But Kuroi didn't even care a bit.

"It's fine ahh…"

"It's Mikoto Uchiha."

"Oh. It's fine Mikoto-san. I'm sure his brother is really talented." Kuroi smiled and turned his attention back to Sasuke and asked, "What's your brother's name, Sasuke?"

"It's Itachi Uchiha! Do you know him!?" Being his brother's biggest fanboy, Sasuke was about to drop an enormous lore as to why his brother can defeat the hokage using his pinkie if Kuroi turned out to be unaware.

"Of course I know him. No shinobi in Konoha would not know the 'Itachi Uchiha' himself. He's considered the most talented shinobi of our generation after all."

"I kn-" Just as Sasuke was about to start singing praises for his brother, Kushina interrupted him.

"Why don't you come have dinner with us Kuroi-kun?" She invited him. She wanted to know more about her only relative except her son. She related herself with Kuroi since he is also alone from a very young age.

"Umm… I don't know. I don't want to intrude…" Kuroi didn't want to have an awkward dinner.

"No you won't! You're fine with him joining us right, Mikoto?"

"I'll be happy if he joins us." Mikoto smiled. Though Kuroi looked to be a bit older than Itachi,she found both of them familiar for a weird reason she couldn't put her finger around. 'Maybe because he also acts very mature for his age?'

"See?" Kushina pushed him.

"What about me mom?" Naruto was annoyed because his mom was not noticing him.

"So you don't want Kuroi-kun to come, Naruto?" Kushina asked with a tick mark on her forehead. Naruto got flashbacks on how much his mom's punches hurt so he immediately nodded like a chicken.

"No No No"

"Good. So you'll come right? Kuroi-kun?" Kushina lost all of her previous temper and asked Kuroi with a smile.

"Yeah. Why not?" Kuroi was a bit confused but agreed nonetheless since he didn't want to be rude to a kind person.

"Yay!"

"Ummm! Your food is really good Kushina-san!" Kuroi complimented her while taking a bite of the medium-rare Steak Kushina cooked. He found it surprising that the food in Konoha isn't just Japanese, in fact they were stuff like Steak and bread all around. But just not as popular as the Japanese ones.

"Thank you Kuroi-kun. If I knew you'd come, I'd have made something which was famous in Uzugakure. It's fine though, I'll make it the next time you come." She smiled.

'I'll have to come again?' Kuroi wondered, but found it to not be bad as the food was awesome.

"So will Itachi be coming, Mikoto?" Kushina asked Mikoto who was listening to their conversation.

"I don't think so. When I asked him he told me he'd be here if he has no missions. But I guess Anbu is brutal in that."

"Hump! Then it's his loss. I told you to coax him to not join the Anbu for this reason. He's too young to do that!"

"Well, Itachi and his father are very… unique." Mikoto didn't want to curse her husband in front of Sasuke and Kuroi. It worked on Sasuke, but Kuroi who could feel her emotions through O.Haki acted like he knew nothing and just kept eating the steak. It was the most delicious thing he had in years, the food pills and processed food killed his taste buds.

"So how's your shinobi life Kuroi? How's your team? Got a girl you like?" Kushina turned her attention to Kuroi and bombarded him with questions. She wanted to know more about the kid who could very well be her nephew or a close relative.

"My shinobi life isn't anything special. I've only been a shinobi for about a year so there aren't any interesting stories I can tell." He said he didn't find any advantage in hiding the info.

"As for my team. I had one in the beginning but currently I'm doing solo missions mostly."

"Ohh~ Solo mission? That must mean you have a very high success rate." Mikoto said.

"What's a solo mission mom?" Naruto asked Kushina. He was quiet because he was shy before a stranger and Sasuke was annoyed because he hoped Itachi would come.

"It means you'll be doing your missions alone without a team. Only strong and efficient shinobi are allowed to perform solo missions. It means Kuori-kun is a strong Shinobi."

"Ha ha.. I don't know about that…" Kuroi continued to be shy. Assimilating with [Ace] really made him invulnerable to any physical attacks, but he still knew he's very far away from the top of the food chain. Considering the top here are literally planet eaters.

"Don't belittle yourself Kuroi-kun, you're still young. I'm sure you'll become a powerful shinobi in the future." Mikoto said she thought Kuroi was too hard on himself. As a retired sensory-type shinobi, she knew how large Kuroi's chakra pool was. It was even larger than Naruto whom she thought had the largest for his age. But Kuroi's chakra was as potent as Kushina's while not more than her's; it wasn't much behind her.

"You still haven't answered my last question Kuroi, do you have a girl that you like? Are you shy?" Kushina smiled slyly, wanting to tease him.

"Um- Kinda but I don't think she likes me though." Kuroi said a little flustered. He tried his luck with a girl who was on a grad below him. But he was ultimately rejected with that legendary, 'I have like somebody else.'

"Don't lie, you're very handsome. I bet you have a lot of girls asking you out. If I was young, I'd do the same."

"Ah? Really?" But Kuroi totally misunderstood her, he thought she liked him and his brain started thinking all the dirty things.Making him bricked up.

"Yeah! So what's the girl's name? I'll help you to ask her out." Kushina was getting too interested. It was to be expected as all she does most of her day is watch some drama programs and play with Naruto. So a new source of entertainment is very rare for her.

"Umm…" Kuroi looked at Mikoto awkwardly. Something which she noticed, the reason for his awkwardness is simple. The girl he liked is none other than Izumi Uchiha, who likes Itachi. Kuroi gave up trying since he didn't want to be involved in any stupid love triangle. But his initial feelings for her still remain.

Seeing everybody in the room, Even Sasuke, interested in his crush's name Kuroi sighed, he thought of saying some random girl's name, but ultimately chose to stick with the truth since he didn't want any unnecessary drama.

"She is a year younger than me, her name is Izumi Uchiha."

The moment he said that, Kushina erupted in a heavy laughter while Mikoto chuckled slightly. Both of them knew the girl who tried her best with Itachi, just to be left unnoticed.

"Haha… I didn't expect you to like her Kuroi-kun, my only advice is try your best. If you're sincere she may return your feelings and don't lose hope if she doesn't either. It just means that she's not worthy of you." Mikoto advised him, she knew her son would never have a romantic relationship with Izumi for a while. Maybe Kuroi has a chance?

"Hey Kuroi-san." Kuroi who was embarrassed and regretting his decision to reveal his crush's name looked at Sasuke who called him.

"If you like that girl please take her away from my Nii-chan, she always interrupts our alone time." 

"Hahahaha"x3 his comment made everyone except Naruto laugh, Naruto was busy trying to hold a knife and fork properly.
