Chapter 34 - Leaving Konoha 03!

Naruto finally opened the door and walked into the house while his family was gathered in the living room. As the door opened, his family turned towards him, and his mother, Kushina, upon seeing him, lit up with a smile as she approached.

"Naruto, dear! Come, join us." She said, inviting him to sit by her side.

Minato, with a gentle smile, nodded at Naruto. "You went out today... How was your day?"

Naruto walked over, taking a seat next to his mother. "It was good, went for a walk." he replied, his voice a bit softer than usual as he smiled at his father and looked at each of the family members present, while Mizu looked at him with her usual gaze and Sora seemed to narrow her eyes.

Kushina leaned slightly towards him, noticing the subtle melancholy in his voice. "You seem a bit tired. Must have been a long day, hm?" She asked as she raised her hand and touched his hair, identical to his father's.

Mizu, who had been sitting on the floor looking at some scrolls, did not stop looking at Naruto curiously. Noticing the slight change in his mood, she tilted her head towards her brother, curious. "You're different today, Naruto. More... I don't know, happy?"

Naruto let out a soft sigh, allowing himself a genuine but also somewhat sad smile. "Just thought a lot about some things today. About how grateful I am to have all of you." His voice was calm, "Even though I'm not what everyone expected, feeling truly loved and happy to have it... hm?!" Naruto couldn't finish his statement.

His mother hugged him tightly. "You are exactly what we hoped for, son... Don't mind what people say about you, you will always be my Naruto and your father thinks the same, you are the Hokage's son!" She said while keeping him in her arms.

Naruto, though surprised, felt loved at that moment, and soon saw his father joining them. "You are my son, never forget that, Naruto." He spoke in his always calm tone, but Naruto could feel his sincerity.

"I love you too, brother!" Mizu also joined them.

"Naruto." Sora let a tear fall as her heart ached with that, feeling something strange as she hugged along with Mizu.

"Thank you." Naruto got a bit emotional at that moment and felt his heart nearly break with the thought that he might be spending his last moments with them, but he had his own path to follow at this moment, what he could do was enjoy these last moments.

Minato observed his son with the family. "We are always here for you, Naruto. Always." He said, the tone serious, but full of love.

Kushina hugged even tighter as a loving gesture. "Oh, my dear. No matter what happens, you will always have your home here. With us." She said, her voice full of emotion.

Naruto nodded, grateful, fighting the lump in his throat. "I know, mom. And I love you all for it." He said, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Yes, brother." Mizu spoke, and Sora just nodded with a tear.

The room was filled with a light laughter from Naruto as a tear streamed down one of his eyes. His family looked at Naruto still curious, after all, they were used to his more closed-off and serious personality, they couldn't help but notice his more open and affectionate behavior, making Kushina and Minato exchange a knowing look.

After this moment, a silence took over the atmosphere of the Namikaze family as Kushina noticed the strange mood after Naruto's words, she tried to cheer up her family. "I'll make Naruto's favorite food, Dattebane!" She announced as she stood up and went to the kitchen, and Minato also left Naruto while messing up his hair.

Mizu went back to her scrolls to start putting them away, while Naruto looked at his mother, he felt his clothes being pulled by Sora, who looked at him intensely. "Are you really telling us everything, Naruto? You seem... different. Lighter, but at the same time, distant. What's happening, brother? Is someone bullying you?" She said wanting to know if someone was bothering her brother.

Naruto met her gaze, seeing those blue eyes worrying about him, made him feel a bit guilty. "I was just thinking about some things during my walk through the village today. Nothing much," he deflected, forcing a smile that he hoped was convincing.

"Naruto, I hope you're being honest... You know I'll always be here for you..." She murmured, her eyes reflecting concern.

Naruto nodded, "Thank you," he murmured, looking at his sister. "I... I'll remember that."

As the evening progressed, Kushina announced that dinner was ready, and everyone gathered at the table, with Naruto thankful to see his favorite food here. He forgot all the problems he was thinking about at the moment and wanted to enjoy this dinner as if it were his last with his family, literally.

The dinner was quite lively among the family as soon as their father arrived from the office. Today, in particular, Naruto seemed much more participative than usual. Mizu and Sora competed amiably, telling about their days at the Ninja Academy, and Naruto laughed along, participating with his own questions and comments, making his sisters glow with pride whenever he showed interest in their adventures.

Time quickly passed at this dinner while the whole family chatted. At the end of the dinner, they spent some time in the living room before playing around.

"What's this?!" Mizu asked in front of her family, while Kushina and Minato were sitting on the couch, Naruto was on the floor with Sora standing next to him. Mizu started a game of charades while jumping around the room.

"It's that toad from Jiraiya!" Sora declared.

"You have to say his name!" Mizu said.

"What's his name, dear, you know!" Kushina said, laughing at her daughter's antics.

"It's Kōsuke, the sensei's contact toad..." Minato whispered.

"Ah, dad! You weren't supposed to say!" Mizu complained.

"Sorry, sorry..." Minato said, scratching his head a bit while apologizing.

The games began as Naruto's sisters made more games among themselves, Naruto sat and even tried to guess some things, but certainly, there were many things he did not know.

"Well, this was good, but I think it's better if we all go to bed, it's getting late and you have academy tomorrow." Kushina declared, standing up from the couch while Mizu and Sora were disheartened.

Thus, everyone went back to their rooms. "Good night, Naruto!" Kushina kissed Naruto's forehead, his father ran his hand over his head, and his sisters gave a kiss on each cheek before going to their rooms.

Naruto closed his door and sighed, looking out the window, there was a light in the sky today, and he couldn't help but look a bit melancholic at it. He looked around the room, picking up a bag he had organized in the morning and placed it under his bed before lying down on the bed, thoughtful about what would happen in the next few hours.

In another room of the house, Kushina was getting ready to sleep, taking off her earring while putting on a nightgown to lie down with Minato, already waiting for her in bed. She didn't fail to comment at that moment about what she found strange that night. "Naruto seemed so different... he was so melancholic... did something happen to him?" She asked worriedly.

"I don't know..." Minato said, a bit lost. "I'll talk to the Anbu who followed him tomorrow, he should know if something happened while he was following him in the village." Minato said.

"Alright, I'm just worried about him, anyway, we'll see about it tomorrow." She said as Minato nodded.

As they were going to sleep at that moment, the house was enveloped in deep silence, and at one moment, Naruto knew it was time to act. He grabbed the backpack under the bed, placed a letter on the desk, and approached the window, opening it gently to not make noise. The night breeze entered at that moment, and he felt that the Anbu, hidden monitoring the Hokage's house as security, noticed the window opening.

'I have to act quickly.' Naruto thought, as he prepared.

He did not hesitate, jumping from the window, he transformed into light and shot off at a speed that the ninja could not react to, while Naruto quickly located him, and as the man saw it as a flash coming from that window, felt losing consciousness as soon as he felt a strong pain in his head with Naruto appearing behind him and knocking him out.

Naruto caught him before he could fall from the tree and laid him back against the tree on the ground. He would wake up after his family with this bump. Naruto didn't fail to scan the surroundings with his observation haki, checking if there was another one he should knock out, but the ones he felt were at the gate of the property, so he didn't care about them, being able to bypass them through the sky.

Now ready to leave the place, he couldn't help but look back at the house one last time. "Goodbye, mom, dad, Mizu, and Sora..." He said and jumped into the air, quickly starting to ascend while holding his backpack.

Thus, Naruto took the first step on his journey, rising higher and higher and starting to head for the southern gate of the village. He looked at the village while there were still some activities, but most of the village was quiet with only a few ninjas passing here and there while the people were mostly sleeping.

He arrived at the agreed location and landed near a park bench. "You finally came..." From the darkness emerged a girl with black hair, as beautiful as his sisters would be one day.

"Everything ready?" Naruto asked as Akame nodded.

"Let's go." Naruto had no more time to waste, "But put this inside the scroll after all, I'll need space to carry you." Naruto said, handing her the bag to store in a scroll.

Naruto asked her to climb behind him after storing the scroll, and she did so without hesitation. "Just hold on, okay?" Naruto asked her to make sure she was prepared for what would come in a few moments.

"Yes." She responded with determination.

Naruto bent his knees and jumped into the air again, heading towards the sky. They were about 500 meters from the southern gate, so no one there could see Naruto with Akame rising into the sky almost as if they were flying. Naruto continued ascending until he felt passing through the barrier with his observation haki, but nothing stopped them from continuing.

However, while the fuuinjutsu team was monitoring the village's barrier, they felt a disturbance at one of the edges of the barrier as the image in front of them made some waves.

"What?! A chakra passed through the barrier!" A man declared while monitoring the location.

"What? An intruder?" The supervisor called out.

"No, he left the village, but at that height, it's as if he was thrown!" The man said, confused by the height at which the chakra touched the barrier.

"Let's send a team to check." The man said while calling someone to go to the southern gate to see what was happening.

At the location, Naruto rose to an appropriate height, seeing that it would be good, his body began to glow, and before Akame could react, she felt him gripping her legs in his hands, before disappearing at the speed of light towards the south.

"Hm?! What was that!!??" A gate guard at that moment looked up to the sky, seeing the flash that passed.

"A shooting star?! So big!" Another exclaimed.

"Damn, I didn't even make a wish..." A third complained.
