11 Chapter 11 - Naruto vs Itachi 03.

Third Person POV

Konoha.

In a more secluded corner of the Uchiha clan complex, a group of survivors watched the battle with wide and nervous eyes as many trembled in fear. Hidden in the shadows, Chunin and Genin formed the last line of defense around civilians and young clan members, all gathered in search of safety amidst the chaos. The atmosphere was tense, mixing fear with a hint of hope, as they looked towards the distant explosions that lit up the night sky.

"Who could be fighting like that?" asked one of the Chunin, trying to see with his sharingan beyond the smoke and flames consuming parts of the complex in the middle of the night.

"I don't know, but whoever it is, they're giving us a chance to survive," replied a Genin, his face marked with the exhaustion of the hours of terror they had lived through.

"Will we be okay? Why hasn't anyone from the village shown up? Where are all the ninjas while there are explosions and chaos happening in the middle of the complex?" said a Chunin girl, also looking towards the explosions.

"And who was that person who saved us, they seemed almost like a child with that height," said another.

Meanwhile, among the civilians and children, a girl with her sharingan activated was staring at the fight with wide eyes. She had activated her sharingan after her sister was killed in front of her while fighting against that masked man. When she joined the other children, she thought she would die there with so much anger for being powerless while her family and acquaintances all died in front of her. But then, that person saved her, and that same person was fighting in the distance while she was there just watching everything happen from afar.

With some determination, the girl didn't want to just stand there and took the initiative to stand up in front of all the children and ran out of the group.

"Hey, Girl!" A Chunin saw her and yelled at her.

"Akame!" An acquaintance shouted, but the girl ignored him and continued running.

"What should we do?" said a Genin.

"Let her go, we can't risk the others because of someone reckless," commanded the Chunin while guarding over 60 civilian members and children of the Uchiha clan.

*BOOOOOMMM!!!* The girl ran through the streets ablaze and debris until an explosion of light happened at a certain distance. She could see Naruto pointing his finger and was quite surprised to see a blond boy of her age being the one who fought to protect her before, since he wore identical clothes except for his headband. She saw in the other smoke, Itachi emerging with a red aura.

Naruto had prepared his sword and launched three slashes towards Itachi, causing three massive explosions to shake the entire Uchiha complex. Then Itachi still emerged unscathed from the explosions, and Akame wondered what that was, while Itachi's Susanoo became complete. She was even more shocked when the Susanoo hit the boy with that red sword, generating a huge impact that she had to shield herself from while everything shook. She saw the boy emerge from the smoke unscathed while using his own sword to defend against Susanoo's sword.

As soon as the Susanoo appeared, the root ninjas immediately recognized this ability as they ran through the complex looking for survivors. "That... is like Shisui!" one of them said as they leaped between houses, recalling the fight against Shisui as he released a giant green to fight against Danzo and others.

"What should we do?!" said another, seeing the giant standing out throughout the complex since it was the largest thing there.

"Let's hope it's Itachi or that masked one. We need to hold the barrier so the giant isn't seen from the other side," said another as they continued walking and another went back to the barrier to pass the orders to the root members.

"The giant! He's going to attack with that huge sword!" They continued entering the complex and saw Susanoo lowering its sword.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!* The explosion from the impact was felt even by them.

"Let's split up, some will look for survivors while others will go to the red giant to see what's happening!" the leader spoke, and the group divided into two.

"A boy...?" The root ninjas couldn't believe that the one under the sword was a blond boy.

"Wait, this is Naruto Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage's son!" another Root Anbu commented, stunned. They knew him well, after all, they were instructed by Master Danzo to spread rumors about the Hokage's disabled son.

"What is he doing here, and how can he hold the giant's sword? That should be impossible!" one of the ninjas, knowing Naruto had no chakra, spoke in astonishment.

"You were right, Itachi, the real battle starts now." Naruto held the Susanoo's sword firmly as he turned his face to see new ninjas emerging from the houses, recognizing them as those who were at the fringe of the clan.

"Sorry, Itachi. I'm coming back." Naruto spoke, and his body transformed into light, appearing in front of those ninjas. "Hello, you're not good people, so it's better to finish you off before you become a problem." Naruto spoke and cut off a ninja's head before he could react. Another tried to escape, but Naruto stopped right in front of him as he cut off his second head.

"What is this?!" The third yelled, stepping back, but Naruto pointed his free hand's finger at him, and a beam passed through his head, eliminating the 3 roots that appeared here.

"If 3 appeared, there must be more of them." He said, focusing on his observation haki and seeing a group of people huddled in a corner of the place with 4 more ninjas like this heading in that direction.

Naruto jumped away before Itachi's Susanoo's sword could break the house he was on top of. *BOOOOM!* The explosion sounded, but Naruto didn't take his eyes off the 3 ninjas; he noticed a child near them looking at the fight, but his focus was on the Root ninjas. He knew it would cause damage but would end the threat.

Charging his sword with light, he begins to aim in the direction of the ninjas still suspended in the air. With a swift movement, Naruto launches his light slashes, which flew directly at the ninjas.

"What is that?" One of them yells as they see a light flying towards them. Before they could react, the light reached them and exploded on top of all 4.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!* The explosion was seen from everywhere within the barrier.

Naruto dodges Susanoo's sword again and looks at Itachi's Susanoo with a calculating gaze.

"Sorry for the delay, had to take care of some rats," Naruto comments, well aware of the function of those ninjas there.

Itachi inside the Susanoo looks a bit lost; he knows his sword can affect Naruto, but the boy is so fast he even seems like his father. Itachi was reaching his limit; he had to at least knock Naruto out to escape from there; he never intended to kill the child, but knew Naruto would never let him go.

Looking at Itachi and seeing that he would attack again, Naruto prepared, as both made the move while Naruto used geppo and his light fruit to reach the Susanoo.

Naruto's sword, wrapped in Haki, clashed against Susanoo's sword, causing an explosive impact, while red and black rays of Naruto's haki began to manifest in the clash. The sound of the collision resonated like thunder.

*BOOOOMMM!!!!*

The new clash between Naruto and Itachi reached a new level of intensity and destruction that echoed throughout the Uchiha complex, capturing the attention of the hidden survivors and the Root ninjas who moved secretly.

Itachi, feeling the pressure of Naruto's attack, intensified Susanoo's power, trying to push him back. Naruto used his light to escape the sword while appearing in the sky a few meters away and pointed his finger at Susanoo, the beams of light flew, but the red colossus put up his shield in front.

"Can he reflect my attack?!" Naruto murmured in surprise as the light hit the shield and nothing happened, until the shield began to send back his attack, causing everything in front of him to explode.

*BOOOOOOOMM!!!!*

Naruto appeared hundreds of meters away with a girl in his arms.

"You shouldn't be here, get out of here and join the others." Naruto looked at the Uchiha girl and spoke before transforming into light and running again to fight against Itachi.

The girl was stunned as everything happened; she was watching the situation from afar, but suddenly everything became bright, and she appeared in the arms of the other boy giving her a lecture and disappearing before she could respond.

Naruto returned to the Susanoo at high speed, and Itachi quickly attacked, with Naruto using his sword to defend himself. The clash between the two became a storm of light, sound, and shock that dominated the night scene.

*BOOOOOOOMM!!!!*

With each movement, each clash of forces, the impact resonated with the place trembling. Naruto, even in the face of the immense barrier that the Susanoo represented, did not hesitate, while the shield continued to reflect Naruto's attacks. Naruto tried to get past the shield while defending against the sword of this colossus, but he knew he was losing the fight. Even with his haki, his sword was starting to crack, and each blow from that thing turned entire houses into dust.

Itachi, on the other hand, was facing the very limit of his capabilities. The intense pain and progressive loss of vision were the price his eyes paid for the power they invoked, and the longer the fight went on, the worse it was for him.

At a critical moment in the fight, as Itachi prepared another devastating attack that Naruto's sword wouldn't withstand, the pain in his eyes reached an unbearable peak. His control over the Susanoo faltered, the colossal form of the spectral armor trembling and losing its shape, falling to an earlier form without the shield. Naruto, noticing the sudden change, saw his opportunity.

Naruto concentrated his haki, advanced, and slashed at the Susanoo, which fell backward along with Itachi inside it. But it was not enough to cut it or get past its bone defense.

"This thing is so hard..." Naruto questioned, looking at the skeleton.

Itachi, falling with the Susanoo, began to feel his vision blur, and he knew he was losing control of the Susanoo. The skeleton began to dissolve as Naruto watched without making a move; he saw Itachi fallen on the ground at the end, with one eye still bleeding and his hands on it indicating pain.

"It seems you've reached your limit, Itachi..." Naruto commented, sighing. He was also at his limit, and his sword even began to dissolve in his hand.

As Naruto was approaching Itachi, something happened. From his shoulder, a head of that creature he had encountered before emerged, and he was surprised. "Hello!" The creature spoke cheerfully, and Naruto exploded it with light that he launched from his own body.

"These things again, how did it manage to stick to me without me noticing?!" Naruto murmured and looked at Itachi again. The man he had fought before was by his side; he was still alive after his heart was pierced. Naruto transformed into light and tried to attack him before he could take Itachi, but it was too late. Itachi and the masked man had disappeared.

"..." Naruto just looked at the empty space with a furrowed brow, the only sound at that moment was the fire and the houses collapsing from the fight he had.
