10 Chapter 10 : Start of the preliminary phase

After completing the test in 54 minutes and shocking the examiners, Obito and his team isolated themselves in a waiting area.
Yakumo took one of Tobirama's Genjutsu research books lent by Obito while Karin and Obito were practicing their Fuinjutsu calligraphy with materials taken from a storage seal. In the surveillance room, the Jounins were perplexed.
Jounin #1: Calligraphe ?!
"They're members of the Uzumaki clan, they have a natural talent for Fuinjutsu according to the records. These two are particularly talented based on observations." His colleague replied.
Jounin #3: The lord hokage has been very attentive to them for several years and he's right, they've a higher level even for Chunin standards, especially the boy.

1h37mn after the start, a second team entered the tower and it was the Suna team led by Gaara, they thought they were the first but in the distance, they saw team zero and were quite upset except Gaara.
If these guys had arrived before them then that meant they were strong and capable so he got excited and his sand was thirsty for blood, Team Zero could give him sensations and he released a great bloodlust but just now, Anko and the other Jounins appeared.

He just smiled as he continued his exercise.
"What's your name?" Gaara came himself to ask Obito's name with Temari and Kankuro at his side but Obito calmly looked at him before continuing his exercise.
"The art of calligraphy is something that has greatly improved my self control, it requires calm and finesse. In addition to being rude, you radiate bad intentions so go away and leave us in peace." he replied calmly and Temari looked at him blushing slightly, Konoha's boys had a certain charisma and Obito's calmness was something she had rarely seen.
"Gaara is my name, the name of the one who'll kill you..." Gaara told him with a look that would have disturbed or scared anyone other but Obito paid him no attention and returned to his exercise.
Calligraphy as he said required a calm mind so he disposed his mind for the exercise exclusively, it would have been a different reaction at other times.
Soon after, the third team entered and it was Naruto's team 7 who was carrying Sasuke on his back. The Jonins and a medical team arrived and Naruto told them that Sasuke had just exhausted his chakra and needed to rest, which was mostly true.
Anko saw the cursed seal and wanted him disqualified for safety reasons and Kakashi who appeared in the scroll assembly insisted that Sasuke continue, even the hokage was contacted and he accepted Sasuke's participation .
After Sasuke was sent to rest in a room and Kakashi did what he did to hinder the influence of the seal on him, Naruto came to his brother to give him an account of his meeting with Orochimaru had nothing to do with their rivalry during the exam and someone extremely dangerous was around.
From what Naruto heard from the Jonins' discussion about the seal on Sasuke, it was Orochimaru, one of the three sanin so they had to be ready in case he attacked again.

"…3998…3999…4000" He finished his series of 4000 push-ups while his legs were suspended in the air upwards and his body rested on the thumbs and index fingers of both hands, he was wearing the gi training his clan weighted at 7 tons while large beads of sweat fell from his forehead.
After returning from the baths where he cleaned himself, Obito made his clones disappear and sealed his effects again before following the others to the large room downstairs because the test was over, the hokage was there and They had to move on to the next test .
Obito and his team were the last to arrive, since the first day he had been in their room and apart from Team Naruto or Gaara, he had not met anyone else so he was treated to the looks of the others while exchanging friendly glances with Lee or Shikamaru.
He lined up with his team and Anko gave a speech before introducing Hiruzen who also gave a speech about the exam and its issues. He was going to speak about the test but Gekko Hayate asked for permission to do so as the supervisor in charge of this test.
According to Hayate, the final phase of the Chunin exam required a preliminary phase because the candidates were still too numerous so they were going to decide by elimination duels whose winners will be the candidates for the final phase of the exam .
This announcement caused a cacophony among the participants apart from Obito and a few of them in dead calme. Despite the complaints, they all had to get used to it because it was the examiners' decision.
Each team joined the balconies with their sensei to wait for the announcement of the fights on the big screen and the participants of the first fight were announced.
[Haruno Sakura VS Yamanaka Ino]
The two girls showed up on the fighting field and there was a sort of tension between the two rivals which gave the impression of a rather interesting future fight but unfortunately for everyone who witnessed this fight, they were witnesses certainly to the worst fight in all shinobi history.
A ragtag fight that ended by a victory for Sakura who, while she and Ino had knocked each other out, had the will to stand up before Ino to be declared the winner of the fight.
[Uzumaki Karin VS Akado Yoroi]
Yamato and Yakumo encouraged Karin and Obito nodded at her before she jumped towards the fighting area where Yoroi was already waiting for her.
"I would have liked to face a stronger opponent like this Uchiha kid but they made me face a girl. Don't expect any restraint from me..." Yoroi said as Karin looked at him calmly while putting her glasses back in place.
"Karin, I heard that she is one of the best students at the academy. Lee, you who're friends with the Uzumaki twins do you know if this girl is strong?" Tenten asked next to Gai with her arms crossed.
"I can't really tell you how strong she's but know that before being our instructor, Gai-sensei was responsible for training the twins and her for 4 consecutive years." Lee said without taking his eyes off the arena.
Tenten: Huh?!! Is it true, Gai-sensei ?
"It's the truth, Karin in addition to being talented is also a hard worker. Because her chakra mastery was excellent in addition to her enormous reserves, I taught her techniques in which she very quickly excelled. The only reason they entered the academy at the same time as the others was to hone their skills. If she's here, it is because she has certainly completely mastered what I taught her. Tenten, if Karin were to face Neji then even I couldn't say who would win..." Gai responded calmly.

She easily dodged all attacks and attempts to grab Yoroi but every time she dodged, she made a quick counterattack, counters against which Yoroi could do nothing.
After only a few seconds since the start of the fight, Yoroi's face was marked by the blows of Karin who in front of him had a cold calm.
"Even compared to his weakest clones you are infinitely slower, it's distressing..." She taunted him as she walked towards his direction and irritated by her provocation and frustrated by The disastrous course of his match, Yoroi ran towards her and threw several Kunai including one with an explosive tag.
Karin dodged the normal Kunais but with terrifying speed, she grabbed the explosive kunai as the tag started to light up and threw it back with force at high speed against Yoroi himself while running towards her and the kunai stuck in his right shoulder directly at the moment of the explosion.

The detonation rang out and the smell of burning flesh was felt as Yoroi's right arm had been completely blown off, instead he had a burning stump with the bones exposed as the ninja screamed in pain.
Hayate, seeing his condition, stopped the fight and a team of doctors rushed to take care of him.
Karin was declared the winner and she joined her team at the top. The others began to whisper in the room for Karin's excellent performance but especially the brutal end of the fight.
" She's strong !!" Tenten said looking impressed.
Lee: She didn't give anything, I bet she was even annoyed.
"She's even stronger than I imagined after leaving them to take care of you, her skills are truly impressive for her age." Gai said with satisfaction.
"She didn't make any unnecessary moves in this fight, I would really like to fight her." Neji said smiling slightly.
"What a pain! There are really people from another level in this exam…" Shikamaru complained with boredom while on the Jonin side, Orochimaru disguised as a Jonin from Oto had an interested smile. Clearly, the Uzumaki present in Konoha had shown him some surprises, they were all really talented.
