Trip To Uzushiogakure

Training for the last three years has been tough for the duo but their hard work paid off and both Naruko and Gaara are high jounin in overall power. Naruko has jounin level chakra control, double a kage in chakra reserves, anbu level genjutsu, jounin level taijutsu, jounin level ninjutsu, and master many fire and water jutsu. Naruko is now a level 7 sealmaster, the same level as Hiruzen. Naruko was even able to bring her bloodline limit evolve, and able to now make 4 blood bending tails behind her that can go 3 meters out from herself. She has even begun tapping into her bloodline limit more and trying to control people with their blood and water in their bodies. If Naruko was to use Ahri's chakra then she would easily be kage level and can keep her reason for up to 3 tails after that she goes berserk.

Gaara has jounin level chakra control, kage level in chakra reserves, chunin level genjutsu, chunin level taijutsu, jounin level ninjutsu and master of many wind and earth jutsu. Gaara also learned about seals from Naruko but doesn't have a passion for it like her and is only a level 3 sealmaster. Gaara has been working on his sand manipulation with Shukaku's help and found out that he has a magnet release bloodline which got strengthened due to being the host of Shukaku. Making most metal against him useless and he has been working on creating iron sand like the 3rd kazekage. If Gaara was to use Shukaku's chakra then he would be kage level and the amount of sand that he could control would increase greatly and can use Shukaku's chakra without any problems.

Naruko is a beautiful young woman now due to puberty and her half demon lineage so instead of looking like a 11 year old child she looks to be about 14 years old instead. Meaning that her beauty is starting to show much like her mothers, Kushina was known for her beauty after all. This has led to a rise in people trying to force themselves on her which were quickly dealt with by her or Gaara but it also doesn't help that the outfit that she wears (Cover art one) shows off a lot of skin. But not missing a good opportunity Naruko would buy the properties of the people that went missing suddenly and now she holds about 40% of Konoha now but no one knows this but her and Gaara.

Gaara looks much like he did in cannon except that due to a proper training and diet he is taller, more muscular, and instead of being 4'10 like he was supposed to be he is not 5'2. His outfit is the same as cannon as well only difference being that instead of his sash being white it's red.

We can see the duo currently training in the training field sending jutsu at each other at full force since they don't have to worry about injuries since Ahri and Shukaku will heal all of their injuries as long as they don't lose a body part. "Alright Gar-kun let's stop here for today. I believe it is time that we take a trip to Uzushiogakure like we talked about and see what we can find there." Naruko said, wiping the sweat that was on her brow.

"How are we going to get out of the village, you know the elders won't just let us leave considering who we are, I hope it isn't something crazy?" Gaara asked curious what Naruko has planned and he is sure it is something crazy.

"You have so little faith in me Gar-kun of course I have a way to get out of the village…. I want you to henge into Rock Lee and I'll be Might Guy we will say we are running outside for youthful training. As soon as Gaara heard this he started shaking "D-d-d-do I have to do that. Can't I just make a run for it, I'd rather be chased by anbu then pretend to be Rock Lee even for a moment." Gaara asked almost thinking about kneeling and pleading to not do it.

Giving Gaara a mischievous smile "Ah but Gar-kun don't you want to show the springtime of your youth to me." Gaara then started to shake his head "No never I can't deal with all their enthusiasm it's too much."

'Gaara if you do this I'm going to have to kill someone, those little youthful fuckers need to die for the good of the world. That genjutsu sunset thing that they do still haunts me to this day.' Shukaku then started having shivers just thinking about it.

"Well to bad we're doing this, come Gar-kun join the youthful side." Naruko said sticking her hand out for Gaara to grab while he stared at it for a minute, debating if he really had to do this. "Damn, fine." As he grabbed her outstretched hand. 'Kit your such a little vixen to do this to Gaara you know he can't get along with those two and you making him do this will give the poor boy nightmares…. I approve.' Ahri said laughing her ass off in the mindscape.

'I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just trying to get us out of the village, nothing more.' Naruko said back, trying to show that wasn't what she intended but the smile on her face showed how she really felt about the matter. Seeing this smile on her face 'I'll have my revenge Naruko just you wait.' Gaara thought.

Upon arriving at the main gate and walking up to Izumo and Kotetsu "Ah Izumo and Kotestu what a youthful day it is today. Me and my little protege Rock Lee are going to be going out of the village to run laps around Konoha isn't that right Lee?" Naruko says hinged as Guy to Gaara who is Rock Lee. "Yes Guy-sensei, we are running 50 laps around the village, but if I can't do that then I'll do 1000 push ups and if I can't do 1000 sit ups and if…."

"Alright we get it just sign out quickly and be on your way." Izumo says wanting to get these freaks away from them before they try to hug each other and show them that deadly genjutsu. "Please just hurry up and go, I'd rather you be anywhere but here right now." Kotetsu says waving them off and going back to sleeping wanting his shift to be over already.

Giving them a signature guy pose complete with a wink "How youthful of you two, now Lee lets go and show everyone our springtime of youth."

"Guy-sensei" Lee says with watery eyes making a motion to hug Guy.

"Lee"

"Guy-sensei"

"Lee" When Izumo and Kotetsu saw what was about to happen 'Oh fuck no.' Izumo quickly moved in between the two "Please just go, don't make us suffer for no reason."

"Right well catch you two later then, come Lee lets get started on our training." Guy and Lee dashed off spouting more things about being youthful. "I'm glad those two are gone. I was worried for a second there." Izumo said "I know what you mean well back to my nap then." Kotetsu said while Izumo chopped him on the head and the two went to argue.

A distance away from the village and dropping the henges of Guy and Lee "See that wasn't so bad Gar-kun you make a most youthful Lee." Naruko said laughing. "Never again Naru-chan never again. I feel sick just thinking about it and Shukaku says you have to let me kill any bandit we come across due to this trauma you caused."

"I don't see what the big deal is but fine you can have your fun with the little bandits that we come across." Naruko said as they both started to use the tree tops to cover more distance since Uzushiogakure is 2 days away given their speed.

The trip to Uzushiogakure was quite entertaining for Gaara at least he got to wipe out 3 different bandit groups really letting him take out his pent up frustration. Naruko felt kind of bad for the bandits a bit because they didn't die a swift death or a complete body. Then they finally arrived near Uzushiogakure late in the afternoon. The duo were staring at the ocean "I assume we are going to either find a boat or water walk there so which one?" Gaara asked fine with either option.

"Well it would be fun to ride a boat but since this is supposed to be a secret let's just run there we can think of this as training as well. Given our chakra we have more than enough to make it there so race ya." Naruko then dashed off laughing leaving behind Gaara who couldn't help but shake his head at her actions.

When Naruko finally made it to land and saw the village she couldn't help but marvel at the landscape. Even with the village being in ruins you could just picture how beautiful it looked in the past. While she slowly explored the village she saw all the destruction it went through and many of her clansman skeletons littering it making her clutch her fist seeing what became of it. Gaara walks beside her and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry we will get our revenge for what happened here sis."

"Thanks little bro, I'm glad that you have my back. Maybe we can find something here that will help us locate the other scattered Uzumaki and then we can bring this village back to its former glory." Naruko said. 'I will also help you Naruko in any way that I can.' Ahri said wanting to show her support for Naruko.

"Well enough of that let's search around the village and see if you can find anything. If you find something flare your chakra and the other will come to you. How does that sound Gar-kun?" Gaara nodded his head and went off in a different direction to start his search. While Naruko went towards what she assumed was the village leader building based on location and building structure.

Searching the building for a while Naruko found a blood seal in the village leaders office on the floor and when she used her blood on it the seal came undone and in the sealed space was a letter as long as a map. Naruko then decided to flare her chakra letting Gaara know that he needs to come to her because she found something. She only had to wait for a few minutes till Gaara showed up "Gar-kun I found something behind a blood seal, it's a letter and a map and I wanted you to be here when I read the letter."

Sitting down on the chair she found still intact she opened the letter and began to read "If you are reading this letter then most likely we didn't survive the attack against us. The combined forces of Kirigakure, Kumogakure, and Iwagakure were too much for us to handle before our reinforcements arrived from Konohagakure. I don't know how much time has passed since then but I know that some of our clansmen are still out there, before we fell I ordered what survivors there were to scatter and live."

"The royal bloodline of the Uzumaki is well protected since I sent my daughter Kushina Uzumaki to Konohagakure before the attack began, so if you are reading this seek her out she can help you I'm sure." When Naruko read this part she was stunned for a moment that meant in a sense she was a princess right, cool something to look into later. After everything that she read that her mother left behind she never mentioned who her father and mother were but just stated that she was important to the village that was all.

"I ask that if you are capable, rebuild the village and locate our clansman. The map that is with this letter will lead you to a secret vault in the village that holds many of our valuables and jutsu especially our sealing arts that made us so feared in the world. Only a Uzumaki from the royal line would be able to open the vault. Good luck out there. Signed Ryu Uzumaki the Uzukage" After reading this letter Naruko glanced at the map and saw where it led wasn't very far.

"Alright Gar-kun follow me to this secret vault that my supposed grandfather has hidden in the village. Hopeful we can find something good there." Naruko then led Gaara to the vault. Upon reaching the hidden door she could see how no one could find it since there were so many different seals that masked the location of the vault and warded off any intruders that even if you did find it you wouldn't live long enough to report it unless you were skilled in seals or extremely powerful.

Cutting her hand and placing it on the vault door, the blood seal reacts and with a flash the seal protecting the vault disappears showing that it's unlocked. "Well then let's go see what good my dear old grandfather left behind for us. Come Gar-kun."

When they looked inside the vault they saw a massive wall of sealing scrolls that were labeled of what was in them. There were sealed scrolls of jutsu of all elements, taijutsu, kenjutsu, seals, and genjutsu that Uzushiogakure had gathered before their destruction. Whistling aloud 'Damn and I thought the library at my parents home was large this is something else don't you think Ahri-chan.'

'I knew that Uzushiogakure had a large library of jutsu, but even I'm surprised at everything that they have here. It is a shame that your clansman perished due to human greed and fear.' Ahri said.

While looking around some more while she had Gaara collect the scrolls to take back home, she came across something rather unique and interesting. "Ahri-chan what am I looking at right now?" Naruko asked as she is currently looking at a mask floating on an altar and behind it is a massive double scythe mounted on the wall behind it. It took a minute for Ahri to respond but you could hear disbelief in her voice "I don't believe it, so it really does exist I've only heard rumors of it. Naru-chan that mask is the Shinigami mask, it lets you summon death himself and gives you some control over him. As for the weapon behind it, it should be the weapon that death himself blessed. The rumor is that anyone killed by that weapon is sent to the stomach of death himself to be tortured till the end of time." Naruko couldn't help but gasp hearing this.

"Wow and to think that they didn't use it when they were attacked, I feel like having death on your side would win any war."

"I believe that you must have been fated to be able to use those two items, if just anyone could use it then you're probably right Uzushiogakure would have survived…. Why don't you try picking them up and seeing if you're fated for them. Something tells me that you will be able to use them, Naru-chan." Naruko then walked toward the mask and as soon as she touched the mask a white flash happened and Naruko could feel a certain connection to the mask. "Wow it really worked after all, now kit try the double scythe on the wall." Ahri said in an excited tone.

"Alright settle down Ahri-chan, I'm going okay." Naruko then grabbed the double scythe and the same thing happened a white flash happened and she could feel a connection to the weapon itself much like the Shinigami mask. Naruko heard a small whisper in her head "My name is Death's Embrace, I look forward to working and killing with you Master." the voice said.

"Ahri-chan did you hear that as well or am I just crazy all a sudden?" Naruko asked "I heard it as well, this weapon must have some form of sentience being that it was blessed by death himself. I've heard of powerful weapons and items gaining some kind of spirit in it and this weapon clearly does." Ahri explained

"Well I also look forward to working with you, but we will need a nickname for ya since calling you death's embrace all the time would get rather annoying" Naruko then goes into a thinking pose for a moment "Ah I know I'll call you Em for now on, what do you think?" Naruko said in an excited tone. "If that is what you wish, master, just be sure to feed me soon it has been a long time since I last tasted blood." Em said in a flat tone.

"Ufufu I like this weapon Naru-chan, we should find someone to taste her on." Ahri said "No worries Ahri-chan, I'm sure that on our way back we will find some more bandits to kill." Naruko then picks up the double scythe noticing the weight to it, the average person wouldn't be able to lift this thing and use it as a weapon.

"Em I'm going to seal you for a little bit till I get finished looking around in here." Em just vibrated showing her agreement then Naruko also sealed the mask as well since there is more to explore in the vault after all. After spending another hour in the secret vault and collecting everything, Gaara found something that piqued his interest. It was a gourd much like the one that he has on his back now but much smaller one he could carry on his waist but what makes it special is that it has a large space inside it making it able to carry much more than its size would suggest.

Gaara was happy with his find since it will let him carry much more of his sand with him and it can deceive his enemies making them think that he doesn't have sand for his jutsu. Not to mention that having the smaller gourd on his waist allows him more movement in battle. While walking out of the vault "Well that was worthwhile, don't you think Gar-kun?" Naruko asked as they walked around the village.

"Yes it was, we were able to find some rather interesting weapons, items, and jutsu's. With these we can become even more powerful in the future…. Are you ready to leave then Naru-chan?" Naruko shook her head no "Let's spend the night here, I need to go through some of the things that we found and I need to apply some seals on some things before I feel safe to travel back to Konoha." Gaara nods his head agreeing to staying another night.

'Good thinking Naru-chan, I'm glad that you are thinking ahead. I do want to examine that shinigami mask some more too.' Ahri said proud of how far Naruko has come. Naruko and Gaara each went their separate ways for the rest of the day each doing their own thing till they need to leave tomorrow.
