"The right question  should be, what exactly do you and your entire family owe me?" He breathed right at her face, grabbing her jaw in his palm to keep her eyes on him.  He had been keeping watch on her for a while, but now he's come to claim what rightfully belongs to him. Another daughter of the Singhs! This was a means to an end, and Narika would be the compensation for what they had done to him. "We owe you nothing, I have no idea what you are talking  about, let me go!" She cried. "Shh sweetheart, it's okay. " He cooed, patting her hair while giving her those creepy looks of his, that scared the hell out of her. "Let me go!''She shouted, but it was too late for her to see that he was not here to joke with either her or her family. He grabbed her  hair, and pushed her up against the wall of her room, "I will be coming for you soon, and when i come. No one will stand in my way of getting what i want…not including you princess!" "I pray your soul rots in the deepest part of hell where you came  from, I detest you!"She yelled. "The feeling is mutual, I hate and at the same time feel things for you, that i am sure don't make any sense to me." Adrik complained, before covering the space between them. "What have you done to me, Narika?" Chapter Thirty-Three: The Ghost Who Kissed Her virgin Lips.

Denial.

A simple word, but has its deep meaning that made Narika try as much as possible to still hope on the belief that what just happened right now, was nothing but a dream.

Yes, a dream. That's what it was.

Adrik kissed her…a ghost placed its ghoulish lips on her virgin lips!

"Fuck!"

She heard him curse, and before her very eyes he vanished into thin air, leaving her all hot, bothered and eager for answers that she knew, he wouldn't willingly answer her even if she asked.

She just had her first kiss stolen by him, Adrik kissed her!

It was as if she was in a daze all long, denying that this was just him manipulating her. That's what he was good at, but he disappeared on her.

Why?

Because it was all too fucking real!

A loud wail escaped her lips, and she found herself sliding down to the ground in gasped breath. She couldn't breathe…no, this called for a panic attack.

"No.." She cried, trying hard for her mind to not linger on the event that happened just a few minutes ago, but how could she forget when her finger was touching her lips.

Adrik called her pretty and kissed her, if she has been grading his madness on the count of five, it just has accelerated to ten.

"Why?" She cried, asking no one in particular the reason for her predicament. She needed answers asap.

At this point of time, she didn't care what exactly he was going to do to her, she wanted to have a real conversation with him.

"Come out right now!" Narika yelled, standing bravely on her feet while looking around the room that had suddenly became a prison to her.

"Why run away like a despicable fool? Come out right now, you bloody asshole!" She yelled, banging her hand hard on the wall in frustration.

He wanted her insane, yeah…she's gone berserk and there's nothing anyone could do, to change things back the way it was.

She was no prude, but she had come to understand that she didn't fancy the guys in town. Mainly because they weren't just her type, and while she has dreamed of sharing her first kiss with the love of her life.

He came into her life, changing the cause of everything and snatched away that right from her future lover. Why her?

"Show your face!!" She said once again, but was disappointed when the front door opened and in walked Detective Homer, and some female officer.

"I see you are quite the talkative, Miss Singh." Detective Homer said, with a grin plastered right on his ugly face which made her fingers, itched to scratch her long acrylic nails on his face.

What took him so long?

Was this all a game to him?

He was right behind these doors, and saw her nearly lose her sanity. Did he see Adrik too?

"I need to get out of here," She said meekly, more like begging him to take pity on an innocent soul like her to set her free from this bondage.

She can't stay here anymore.

With each passing seconds, she could feel her sanity fading. It was as if she could hear Adrik's sinister laughter going off in her head.

She needed her mom.

"At this point where it seems like you don't actually know what exactly you are into Miss, I would gladly explain." Detective Homer placed a file on the table, glancing at the female officer beside him who walked up to where Narika was, and forced her down on the seat.

"You are currently detained for the murder of Morgana Wintergreen, my interrogation is based on the fact that every evidence points at…"

She snorted at his last comment, cutting the officer short of words." On what account can you prove that i did it?" She questioned, getting tired of the cock and bull story of her commiting murder.

She needed to get out of here, and she's leaving here tonight by all means.

"None of my fingerprints were found on her body, and from the pictures right here clearly shows that she was strangled to death, with her head mutilated. So, where is your evidence detective?"

She banged her hand down on the table in annoyance, making the female officer walk up to her  trying to get her hand on her, but her colleague was in tune to stop her.

" I would mind my every action and words if i were you Miss.Singh. This is Suncity, nothing stays hidden here." He warned.

"I won't talk without my lawyer being here, or are you going to deprive me from making a call to get one a second time?"She blurted out, ignoring his threat. She was not afraid anymore. She isn't afraid of Adrik, nor with all these that's going on.

She isn't scared of what the town would say about her, and if there's something she knew it was the fact that she's getting out of here in one piece, not that the detective is going to hurt her anyway. After all, she can't bleed, so she had the upper hand here.

"Who were you talking to moments ago Miss.Singh?''Detective Homer asked suspiciously. Although he tried so hard not to believe in the rumor,  that was going round the town right now that she's possessed.

He heard her talking to someone in here, and while he went to the computer to check out what exactly and who she was talking to, everything was just blank.

Nothing showed in the cctv camera, and right now he was trying all he could not to believe in that stupid rumor, because there's nothing like someone being possessed.

Well, except the fact that the horrified look on Narika's face had him reconsidering, she looked as if she had seen a ghost.

He didn't know?

Narika was sure not to say that out loud, but she was sure to understand that Adrik had messed with both her, and detective Homer who didn't see the ghost kiss her.

"I will be out after forty eight hours of no significant evidence, and i assure you, Detective. you wouldn't be so lucky to arrest me a second time. I'm done talking to you." she said pushing her seat backwards, surprisingly the detective didn't pressure her forward to talk again.

Who knows what's running through his mind, whereas Detective Homer, was still trying to act so cool, that he wasn't scared that truly she's possessed.

Narika had come to suspect that maybe, Adrik, had taken possession of his body with that look on his face.

She's going to end this once and for all once she steps out of here. She knew that it wasn't going to be easy,  but she didn't say that she's going to back down without a fight.

Adrik has crossed his boundaries, leaving her with no other option than to fight back. Yes! She will fight the ghost who kissed her virgin lips.
