1 Chapter 1: Ignition

There I was, laying on my death bed trying to hold on to the very little life force I had left.

I had contracted a very rare disease from a rare bird that slowly shut down my bodily functions over a 2 month period.

Yes it was painful, no I do not recommend trying it. My name is John parker.

"He only has a few minutes left" a nurse said to the left of me in a sad tone

"Yes, let's inform his family of the sad news." the doctor replied, sounding almost emotionless.

As time progressed, I found it harder and harder to hold on, until suddenly, I died.

What I expected was to go to hell or some other bad religious place, but instead, I ended up in a white room with a floating metallic being.

"Greetings, young one, you have died way before you should have. For this, I have taken into account your love of isekai stories that revolve around being reincarnated as a robot." the being said as if trying to reconcile my young death.

I was 15, and working to help clear out some debris from a destruction site when the very bird that killed me attacked. at first, I thought it was just a normal fever, but then my body gradually got weaker and more painful.

"Wait, you mean I can be reincarnated!" I said excitedly.

"Yes, but you wont start out overpowered, because I'm reincarnating you as a nanobot hive in the middle of a fantasy worlds scrapyard. you will be the first of your kind, will you be the last? As a final gift, I will send my best system administrator to help you survive, until then, goodbye!" he said as he snapped his fingers.

As he snapped his fingers, a bright light started to appear around me coming from the floor and pulling me up.

I blacked out.

I couldnt remember anything else that happened during my transformation.
