Chapter 76: Endgame (1)

"Brother" Cheon Mujin muttered as he turned his focus to where the thunderous voice came from.

'I guess this will be the end game' muttered Cheon Mujin inside his mind. Then his eyes wandered off and he saw his brother, Cheon Yeowun, with an army behind him but the army behind him isn't an ordinary one. They were warriors in the peak of martial arts.

They were the cultists who deflected from his side; those who betrayed the order because it was too tyrannical.

'Blade God too?' I guess this really is the endgame' Cheon Mujin caught the sight of a man besides Cheon Yeowun, he was wearing all black robe and behind him are three martial masters and behind those masters were the army of Blade God Six Martial clan.

"This, this is apocalyptic" Yeowun muttered looking at the sea of corpses on the field. Even he could not stomach such a sight. Each of those corpses were brutally mangled, that just goes how all of them suffered before dying.

"BLUAARGHHH!' Some of his own men even vomited at such sight.

"I applaud myself as someone insane and bloodthirsty but not at the level of that man" Blade God said. Even he was appalled by the sight before him.

'We must not let him rest, Attack right now!' Yeowun thankfully regained his bearing and dashed forward.

Normally one would be scared when the greatest of greatest martial artists alive in the current era were to charge forward towards him but strangely, there was a smile on Cheon Mujin's face.

An ecstasy he has long been wanting. Yes, killing was fun but killing with struggle and overcoming that hurdle is more fun.

It makes one feel more superior when they triumph over such circumstances.

"Yes this is right, this is a thrill, this is what this world was about" Cheon Mujin smiled ear to ear.

On the other side of the spectrum, Blade God said to Cheon Yeowun.

"Remember our deal, Demon God" He said to him.

"I remember our deal, as you should yours, and why do you keep calling me that?" Cheon Yeowun replied.

"Because that is your rightful title" Blade God responded.

Cheon Yeowon ignored Blade God for now and focused on Cheon Mujin. After his devastating defeat against Cheon Mujin, he trained harder than anyone else mastering the Sword Force of the Sky Demon and Blade God Extreme Art, after that he gathered his forces in order to attack Cheon Mujin at the right moment and today is that moment.

He finally completed the combined version of both martial arts resulting in the birth of the Sword Force of the Demon Lord.

Although it was shameful, he made a deal with Blade God. He agreed that all of them should work together in order to eliminate the greater evil. And that greater evil is Cheon Mujin.

Anyone would be extremely scared after seeing Cheon Mujin's massacre. Quite frankly they are all afraid too but they know that this would be their only chance.

If Cheon Mujin gets out of here and emerged alive, they were sure the guy would start hunting them one by one and they were pretty damn sure none of them would be able to afford that.

So as the most logical answer and approach, they all decided to band together and kill him when they still have the chance.

All of the cards are leaning to their side, Cheon Mujin is exhausted, they are about a thousand in numbers, all full of high ranking masters, two figures at the Divine Realm. This is the prime chance.

"Charge!!' Cheon Yeowun shouted. Infusing Force Qi over to his voice. With one thousand former cultists and three hundred warriors from Blade God Six Martial Clan behind him, the ground crumbled.

Seeing the oncoming army, Cheon Mujin smiled. Then he infused force qi over to his feet and responded to their stride.

The first one to initiate the attack was Cheon Yeowun as he muttered under his breath the name of his martial arts.

"Sword force of the Demon Lord' Cheon Yeowun unfolded the combination of Sword force of the sky Demon and Extreme Art of the Blade God. His sword and blade created a deadly sequence of unfathomable blade and sword movement shaking even the air from its terrifying capacity.

Blade God too smiled and unfolded his martial arts. His body bends into inhumanly angle to perform certain blade slashes.

Then the blade and sword arcs from their attack reached Cheon Mujin's position. Approaching the latter as an inevitable doom. Cheon Mujin saw these attacks reaching him and evaded. The ground beneath him crumpled into ashes and debris as the slashes from his evasion got redirected into the ground. Cheon Mujin abruptly dodged the attack from the two with great precision but there were some who managed to bypass his evasion, causing wounds.

However, Cheon Mujin didn't succumb nor did he flinch.

"Extreme Art of the Blade god, First Formation, Ascending Blade" Blade God whipped his blade upwards and an image of a great white dragon appeared manifesting before his blade.

Cheon Mujin swirled left in order to dodge the blade. He had already managed to master the blade art that Blade god created so dodging it and intercepting it was easy for him, yet there was an inherent danger coming from the blade of the creator itself.

As if the art responded differently for blade God as he was the creator of it. A small wisp of blade qi landed on Cheon Mujin but that simple whisp sucked him in like a vortex.

'ARGH!' A small grunt was released from cheon Mujin's mouth. Then in order to get out of the impending attack , he used Full Body Manipulation Art (From Chapter ?) and bendeed his body in an impossible angle in order to release himself from the formation.

"Got you!" Suddenly, Mujin heard a voice from besides him and to his surprise a sword greeted him.

Sword Force of the Demon Lord

Twenty four sword movements converged into one, aimed to kill Mujin. The latter didn't managed to dodge everything and tanked half of it causing a huge gush of blood in his chest.

"Shit" Yeowun cursed. Then in retaliation, Mujin grabbed his head and slammed Yeowun right in the ground.

BANG!!

CRACK!!

The impact caused a crack on the ground similar to a spider's web. Yeowun's head was slammed, making his head a bloody mess. Mujin raised his foot and was about to kill Yeowun when suddenly a powerful and invisible force pushed him away from Yeowun.

Mujin was pushed one hundred meters away from Yeowun.

"I forgot the promise"

It was his deal with God that he won't kill Yeowun. And now he almost broke that deal.
