Chapter 33: First Elder Mujin

Everyone was really, really surprised. Their mouths were left wide open agape. There were really low expectations that Cheon Mujin would win and the small percent of people who hoped that he would win at least thought that he would struggle tooth and nail to do so.

But this? This is not a fight? This is just pure slaughter. Mu Jinwon didn't even manage to land a single hit on the other hand Cheon Mujin won using only one technique.

Everyone knew that from this point on, the Sky Demon Order's dynamic would change. Whether it be the Council Elders, the Clan Leaders, the Cadets, and even the Lord knew that from this point on, history will happen.

"Master Cheon Mujin passed the Sixth Test!!" Shouted Lee Hameng with his voice infused with qi.

"WOOOOAAAAHAHHHHHHH!!!"

The ground shook from their claps and shouts.

Everyone cheered as they witnessed history before their very eyes.

Musong Ryo even stood up and infused his hands with qi just to clap louder than everyone else.

But amongst those cheers of victory the six clans were fidgeting with their arms in nervousness.

They have repeatedly messed with the Emerald Serpent Clan and now that Cheon Mujin have become an Elder, their clan would reach the level of the Six Clan.

None of the Clan Heads of the Six Clan can compete against Cheon Mujin, that they knew. He killed the most feared man in the Six Clan with only one move, what's to say to them who is far weaker than Mu Jinwon.

The lord suddenly stood up from his seat. When he stood up everybody without exception bowed towards him and stopped their cheering.

"Congratulations, Cheon Mujin."

Usually it would be Lee Hameng to congratulate Cheon Mujin but since the lord is here he is the one to do so.

"From today on you are the First Elder of the Council." Cheon Yujong held out his hands, energy rose up from it as it telekinetically lifted the name plaque on Mu Jinwon's pocket.

On the name plaque, a chinese character was engraved 'First Elder.' He telekinetically controlled the name plaque and handed it over to Cheon Mujin.

Mujin kneeled with his one knee and held out his two hands to receive the name plaque. When he received it he shouted.

"All Hail The Lord!! I, Cheon Mujin of the Emerald Serpent Clan! Pledge myself to the Lord and to the founding father Cheon Ma, that I will serve the Cult through my life and through my death!!"

He banged his head three times into the ground and with that:

"From now on you are the First Elder of the Council, Elder Mujin."

On the Demonic Library:

"Elder Mujin, what you are about to learn behind this vault is the greatest secret of our Cult." Lee Hameng said with held anticipation.

Along with two guards who had their respective key, the three inserted their keys and twisted it at the same time, opening the vault on the Demon Library's underground.

A strong smell of medicine and coldness penetrated Mujin's nose. Along with Lee Hameng the two step forward inside. On the table that greeted them were leather skin with blade traces all over it and a left arm riddled with blade wounds.

"The six clan system didn't really exist 500 years ago but it was implemented by a tragedy that struck our cult." He said.

"At that time the Lord of the Cult Cheon Mu Hui was killed by a mysterious master called Blade God. Cheon Mu Hui was the 7th Lord of the Demonic Cult and was one of the Five Strongest masters of his time along with Sword Demon. During his 5th year as a lord, he left for his pilgrimage to Xinjiang, where he and his companions, including the Right Guardian at that time, were killed by the Blade God"

"Due to his untimely death the dynamic of the cult shifted. Sword Demon created the academy to prepare for the future where the Cult will once again have to fight Blade God."

Lee Hameng didn't mention that the true Sword Force of the Sky Demon has been lost. The current sword technique the current lord is using is a fake, replicated and made by the Sword Demon to compensate for the loss of the original sword technique. In the manhwa he only said that to Cheon Yeowun because Cheon Yeowun showed that he inherited the founding father Cheon Ma's will.

Lee Hameng pointed at the wounded skin on the table and arm with blade wounds.

"These are the traces of the Blade God's technique. Though no one managed to decipher it as these are just based wounds there is no telling what would happen so the Sword Demon preserved them and stored them here for the future generation of our cult." He finished looking all serious.

Cheon Mujin's face adopted that of an actor as he tried to act as if he was surprised and didn't know any of this at all.

"Well this is just a small history lesson. This is the real reward." Lee Hameng sighed and chuckled, then he brought out a wooden box. He opened the wooden box revealing three martial books.

True Demon Sword: A sword technique created by the Sword Demon. It is his original core technique but compared to his other creation this was far inferior.

Twenty Four Demon Sword Art is the last sword skill of Sword Demon. He created this sword technique with the Destructive Sword Technique on the sapphire as its base, in order to fight Blade God and counter his Extreme Art of the Blade God[.

It is composed of 24 sword movements that seem to be normal movements at first but become stronger when being combined with other sword movements or used sequentially and it doesn't require special energy flow. It is not known to many that Sword Demon still has another sword technique that is much more powerful than his original True Demon Sword Art, that is also considered as endary swordsmanship in the Demonic Cult.

It is one of the secret martial art books that the Sword Demon left in the underground of the Precious Library at the Demonic Academy.

And finally the book of Analysis of Blade God's Technique: there was nothing really special here since Sword Demon failed to decipher it.

"I'll leave you here to memorize Elder Mujin." Said Lee Hameng, giving him the space in the underground vault.

After he left he skimmed through the two sword techniques and immediately learned them in a flash.

But that wasn't his real goal. His real goal was the blade wounds on the leather skin and arms.

Mujin's Godly Martial Arts talent acted up as his eyes analyzed the blade wound and began simulating scenes of it's movement inside his mind.

Ten Hours later:

"Extreme Art of the Blade God." Muttered Cheon Mujin. He successfully learned the blade technique that made the Blade God undefeated based on simple wounds.

At first it was awkward since his movement were unaligned and unusual since he doesn't have proper breathing technique to partner with the blade technique but as time goes by a breathing technique was created inside his mind as he continued to understand and analyze the blade technique until eventually he created the right breathing technique that is far more stable than the original. (As expected of God-level talent)

And with that Cheon Mujin now have two of the strongest martial arts in existence. Sword Force of the Sky Demon and Extreme Art of the Blade God.
