Chapter 2: Nice Doing Business with You, God.

"Boss, you've worked hard!" A line of bodyguards at the entrance of a high-end building bowed simultaneously as the boss arrived.

The boss waved his hand and walked inside the building. As soon as he entered, everyone bowed to him.

He walked straight into the elevator and pressed the button for the highest floor. With a smooth rumble, the elevator began to ascend until it reached the penthouse.

Stepping out of the elevator and entering his residence, the boss took a seat on his comfortable couch and reclined.

"Sigh… a gangster's job never ends," he whispered to himself, closing his eyes to rest.

But as soon as he opened his eyes, he found himself in a room entirely white. Everything seemed distant yet strangely close, and the concept of dimensions had disappeared.

"Where am I?" the boss said calmly. In his mind, he was already formulating scenarios on how to escape, but seeing that there was no visible door, he sighed.

"I'm pretty sure this isn't my office," he sarcastically remarked. As if in response, another voice emerged from the white void.

"You're damn right it isn't." From the white void emerged an image of a completely dark being that seemed to contain the cosmos itself.

"Hello, child," it greeted with a dramatic pause.

The boss looked at the mysterious being with calm eyes and asked, "Are you God?"

"Bingo!" the other replied.

The being who claimed to be God snapped his fingers, and the entire white void transformed. Stars, planets, black holes, galaxies—all of it appeared with a single snap.

"If you are God, then are heaven and hell real?" the boss asked, astonished at the display of power.

"Yes, but I created them for entertainment, just as I've brought you here," God explained.

"Pardon?"

"I brought you here for entertainment. Are you familiar with the concept of 'isekai'?"

"Of course, I am."

"Excellent. I will reincarnate you into a world of your choosing."

"Wait a minute! Why me? I'm not the kind of guy you'd reward. I'm evil; I've done things that humans would find appalling. I've exploited the weak and devoured the strong."

"Exactly! That's why I'm sending you to another world—to entertain me with your ways!"

"But aren't you God? Aren't you supposed to be impartial?"

"Impartial, justice, order, chaos—those are concepts created by your kind. I only created the world and the universe for my own amusement. Why do you think I allowed humans to wage war against each other when I could have stopped it?"

The boss took a moment to digest this information. Realizing that the God humans on Earth worshipped as benevolent and merciful had a different nature was quite an eye-opener.

"This is quite surprising," the boss muttered.

"Hahaha! That's an amusing reaction. Humans would have a mental breakdown if they knew I wasn't as benevolent as they believed," God said with amusement.

"Well, I wasn't really a religious kind of man," the boss replied with a smile.

"Good. Let's get to business," God said.

"Choose any world you'd like to reincarnate into," he told the boss, who assumed a thinking pose. After a few minutes of pondering, he said, "Nano Machine. I'd like to reincarnate into the world of Nano Machine."

"The martial arts world?" God asked for confirmation.

"Yes, that one."

God nodded with amusement and said, "Very well, but there is a condition."

"I know. I'm not allowed to kill Cheon Yuweon and steal Nano Machine, right?" the boss interjected.

"You catch on quickly. That's correct. A one-sided battle wouldn't be entertaining. It would just be a normal reincarnation," God explained.

"Where's the fun in that, right?" the boss finished.

"Hoho! Great minds do think alike!" bellowed God.

"If that's the case, may I make a request?"

"You may."

"Could you grant me God-level talent in martial arts? No matter how talented you make me in that world, as long as Cheon Yuweon has Nano Machine, it wouldn't be a fair fight. You wouldn't want a one-sided battle, would you?"

God agreed, "Granted. Anything else?"

"Nothing more, God."

"Very well, then. I guess we're done here," God said, snapping his fingers once again. A giant portal in the shape of a gate opened.

"Nice doing business with you, God," the boss said.

"Likewise," God replied. Then the boss was sucked into the portal, removing him from the outer space-like dimension.

"Good luck, Jake Fer-de-lance. Make sure to entertain me well."

In the middle of the night, in the Clan Manor of the Emerald Serpent Clan, a new life was being born.

"Just a little more, madam!" The midwife encouraged a young woman in her mid-twenties.

"Just a little more!" she urged.

"There we go! It's a healthy baby boy, madam!" Pulling out a boy with black hair and fair skin, she exclaimed.

The madam of the Emerald Serpent Clan, heaving and huffing, was tired. But when she looked at the baby in the midwife's hands, a smile formed.

"Is the Cult Leader here?" she asked. The midwife's face turned sad.

"I'm afraid he wasn't able to make it," she said. This news saddened the young woman.

"He's probably busy with his work as the Cult Leader. Yes, he's busy. I'm sure he'll come to see my baby, right?" she asked hopefully, which made the midwife sigh inwardly with sadness.

"Yes, I'm sure he'll come."

"By the way, madam, what would you like to name the young master?" the midwife asked. The young woman pondered for a moment and then said, "How about Cheon Mujin?" And with that, Cheon Mujin, the 8th Young Master of the Sky Demon Order, was born.
