1 Chapter 1

I have always wondered what's beyond life. Different religions have different answers to this question but to me it wasn't a good enough reason.

The concept of hell and heaven didn't entice me in doing good deeds as the idea of constantly being servant to someone we don't even know was appalling to me.

You might be wondering that why am I talking about the philosophy of life and death that's because I am dead. It wasn't by truck-kun if some of you were wondering, it was cancer.

The big bad evil of our world which we still couldn't find a cure or did we? Well it was detected in the middle stages and the treatment was also started but my financial condition were not conducive to have a full blown treatment.

I was a single child in the family and was about to go in the real world to live a good life. Both my parents loved me dearly and did everything they could to treat me. I honestly felt like a burden to them which made me feel negative and my condition deteriorated further. The only regret that I had in my short life is to not make my parents proud of myself and give them a comfortable life, hope they are able to get through this.

So what's beyond death u may ask? Well nothing or more aptly void. Pretty cliché I know. I am honestly waiting for ROB to come and discuss my second chapter of a hopefully new life. So till ROB comes let's mediate see if I can comprehend the Dao of void or nothingness.

I can't do it, it's making me crazy this feeling or rather the lack of feeling I am experiencing.

"You are supposed to go crazy in this environment anyways", I heard someone say. It was like they were all around me. "Who's there?" even though I had a slight inkling to who it might be.

"I am the entity you were waiting for, mortal. I whisked you away from the reincarnation cycle to make a deal with you." Hearing this at first I got super giddy thinking my chance has finally came but I quickly calmed myself down and asked the important questions.

" Why me? What was so special about me that you chose me? And what is this deal you are talking about? At this point I can make out a silhouette made up of light facing my direction.

"There's nothing special about you. I just chose you randomly and because you had just recently died. The deal I want to make to you is something you are quite familiar with now that I have read your memories." Of course a seemingly omnipotent being can read my mind.

"Sending me to another world?" I ask failing to keep my excitement leaking through. All my teenage life from when I discovered the whole genre of fanfiction I have always fantasized about going to another world having superpowers and fighting strong people. The fact that I could live out my dreams was amazing.

"Yes, and I have already decided on the world it's the world of my hero academia and you can have one boon from me." Well that world is pretty alright in terms of a newbie reincarnator/transmigrator such as myself. Atleast it's not DC.

"Can I keep my memories?" This was a very important point to me because without my memories I will not be myself.

"Of course you would keep your memories. Erasing your memories would be an unnecessary action". So with that out of the way, let's think of the wish.

Honestly was expecting the generic three wishes troupe but beggars can't be choosers. I want something that would be versatile and would help me in every situation so asking for a specific quirk is out of question.

I remember a manhwa where the main character had nanomachines injected inside of him and it had a lot of cool abilities that I wished I had in real life.

"I want to have nanomachines from the manhwa of the same name". The being looked(I really don't know because its features are not visible).

" Quite an interesting choice you made there mortal, others would have asked for a specific superpower or something. " I replied," The versatility of it was what made me come to my decision. By the way I would like if you would make some changes to nanomachines."

" What kind of changes?" questions the entity."

" I want these nanomachines to be metaphysical in nature, that means it's not inside my body rather my soul and is able to interact with my physical body" I don't know whether in that world people would be able to detect the nanomachines so better safe than sorry.

"Hmm, as you are the first person I am doing this to I'll make the required changes." I am extremely happy that the entity agreed but before that let's ask the main question.

"Why are you doing this?" Most of the times in fanfiction the main characters don't ask for the reason for their transmigration which I find disturbing cuz there's no free lunch in this world.

The entity chuckles like legit chuckles before replying," Don't worry I am not going to enslave you or something. The reason why I am doing this is because I wanna see something new. I want to see what a person who has knowledge of future events would do in a superpower world. What kind of changes would you go through, would you be good or bad or in between? I am expecting a lot from you mortal".

Well that was something I didn't expect at all. The entity have off creepy scientist vibes at the end but who am I to look the in the mouth of a gift horse and besides I wouldn't have any power if the entity decides to do something so there's that.

I ask" Would I have a quirk as my powers are kinda out of the realm of what usually dictates the powers in that verse".

The entity replies,"Yes but it would be completely random so it would be on your luck."

I can certainly work with this arrangement I just hope I get to live properly this time and be something more.

"Enough dilly dallying off you go now" with that as the last thing I heard I blacked out.
