Before reaching the hideout location, Alex parked the car behind some bushes and walked the next kilometer or so until he finally found what he was looking for.

Alex's house was relatively large, but this house was huge. He couldn't help but think about all the food he could find in there to extend his and Emily's stay at the house.

Sure, he could go to the city without any issue right now. But he wanted to work on his foundation some more, and a house in the middle of nowhere was the best option for that.

If it weren't for the fact that the person in charge of the group was Mike Torres, Alex would probably leave them be.

But he also didn't want anybody to disturb his steady progress, so, in the end, he decided to move right after he put Emily to sleep.

Alex hid behind a bush about a hundred meters from the house's front door and focused all his senses.

With his inhuman body, one of the passive perks that he got was the ability to sharpen all his senses to the point that he could easily perceive his surroundings.

Right now, Alex's level was relatively low for the ability to manifest itself as a skill, but if Alex kept using it, he would surely get an active skill related to senses.

"two in the front, Four in the back, ten in the basement, four on the first floor, and seven on the second. The numbers don't match up; something is wrong; I'm sure that guy didn't lie, then maybe …." Alex sighed and got to work.

He circled the house until he got to the back and waited patiently for an opportunity to strike.

After about an hour, one of the guards left his passion and went into the jungle to pee.

When the man got out of the range of sight of the other three guards, Alex jumped out of his hiding spot very stealthily and slashed his sword through the man's neck.

The poor guy didn't even have the time to close his zipper before falling headfirst in his own pee.

After giving the body to the nanobots to devour, another 81 million INBs were added to his account.

Alex went back to his hiding spot and waited for the next guard to come.

After about five minutes, the guards started suspecting something was wrong and sent another to check on their now dead comrade.

The man got to where the first man was doing his business, and after finding only his clothes, he got suspicious, "what the hell? Did he get naked in the middle of the ju…"

And woosh, another slash and another lifeless corpse for the nanobots to eat.

After a minute, the other two guards that didn't hear from their two previous men started walking slowly with their guns pointing at the front towards the jungle.

When the men got to their clothes, one of them chuckled and said, "maybe they went on a naked trip together."

The other man also chuckled, but before he could say anything, he felt a pain like never before in his neck, and with eyes wide open, he fell to the ground.

Alex didn't let the other man to react in time and, with his superior speed and passive skill sword dance, slashed at the guy next to him.

Alex gave their bodies to the system in exchange for INBs and was left with four sets of clothes.

He grabbed the smaller one and put it on. Then circled the house again and came out of the jungle with his head down.

The reason why Alex didn't attack the front door first was because the distance between the front door and the jungle was almost 40 meters, and he didn't want to alarm the other guards with the sound of gunshots.

When the guards saw him coming in their direction, they got a little suspicious and asked, "what are you doing here?"

But before the men could say anything else, Alex, who by now had walked about half the distance, dashed forward and killed the two men on the spot.

Their levels were so low that he didn't even need his skills to kill them, "what a disappointment; I was looking forward to a good challenge," said Alex with a sigh.

He had leveled up twice by now and reached level 30. With all his stats above 80, he was sure that even if all the men inside came out and attacked him right now, they wouldn't be a match for him.

"six down, sixteen more to go."

Alex opened the front door and confidently walked in, the four guys were playing poker and didn't pay much attention to him, and that was their last mistake before Alex slashed at each and every one of their necks.

And another four were taken care of. It was really easy. As much as they wanted to act like professionals and real experts, at the end of the day, they were all a bunch of thugs. And with Alex's stats, they couldn't even see him move.

Alex went down to the basement and found six armed men with two young girls and two unconscious boys, not much older than his current self.

The boys and girls were tied to the chair, and the four men were busy touching the girls and slowly undressing them.

The hostages were full of bruises, and it was clear that this wasn't the first time they had been abused.

'those sick perverts, they dress and undress the girls every time they want to have fun.' Thought Alex and took action as fast as he could.

The next instant, four dead bodies with shallow scars on their necks were on the floor.

The girls were clearly startled, but when they saw the men that had been abusing them for days were dead, a hint of happiness and disgust could be seen in their eyes.

The girls started looking around with scared eyes, fearing that they might be next. But the next instant, all of them were freed from the chair.

Alex appeared in front of them like a ghost and made the girls scream in terror, but Alex didn't do anything and just looked at them with sadness.

'Such young kids, they shouldn't suffer like this,' he thought.

Alex didn't even try to stop them; he let them get it all out of their system.

As for the second-floor guards, they couldn't do anything even if they came down.

After ten seconds of screaming and nothing else happening, the girls started to quiet down and looked at Alex.

One of them that looked the oldest looked Alex in the eyes and said, "why did you save us? Did our parents send you?"

"Hello, my name is Alex, and I'm here to settle an old grudge. I'm not here for you, but you can come with me if you want. What's your name?"

The girl's beautiful white face became red, and she dropped her head before saying, "sorry, hello, my name is Ashley. And these are my friends Helen, Zack, and Jake."

Ashly was a lovely tall girl around 18 or maybe 19 years old, with golden hair and blue eyes; she looked like a goddess.

"What happened to you?" asked Alex with a hint of sadness.

"this…." Ashly started telling Alex everything.

Apparently, this was one of their parent's house, and they were here on a summer vacation. But less than a week ago, they all fainted, and when they woke up, they were all tied to the chairs.

"Alex, you have to help me. Please, my sister is only 12 and the man in charge took her. I have been going with him instead of my sister until now, but I couldn't convince him not to take Sara today. Please help her." said Ashley.

At the mention of a girl not much older than Emily, Alex got furious, and a dense killing intent was released from him, which made the girls take a step back in fear.

Alex returned to his senses and said, "don't worry, I will do my best. You just stay here, and if anybody but me came down, shoot them dead."

He gave the girls the dead men's guns and ran upstairs.

Ashley was dazed at his speed and, after a second, remembered something, "but I don't know how to use them…."
