7 dual job

After scrolling through the list, Alex found a lot of good things. Fantastic things actually, but the price of all of them was astronomical.

They could buy at least ten epic items with his and Emily's current INB (integrated nanobot).

There were also five legendary items, but he was most interested in a mythic class book called "dual job." It was the only mythic item in the shop, and Alex had to have it.

'if I buy the book, I can't buy any legendary items, but With my title "first in history," I think it wouldn't take long to buy all the legendary items,' he thought with a sly grin.

Although none of the legendary items were of use to his current self, they were legendary non the less, and Alex needed them as the foundation for his future plans.

The title "first in history" was practically a cheat code. Alex was sure that if the system wasn't full of bugs right now, it wouldn't have given him such an OP title.

'whit all the INB that we have, I could buy the book for Emy. I will come for you later.' Thought Alex before taking a last glance at the legendary items and looking at Emily and saying, "Emy, give me your hand and ask for the system to transfer five billion of your INB."

Emily did as she was told without questioning his brother and Alex's total INB reached fourteen billion.

Without any hesitation, Alex spent thirteen billion INB in one go and bought the book.

A beautiful book with a purple cover and drawings appeared in his hand the next instant.

Alex's heart bled from spending all that money on one item. But he knew that it was worth it. Nothing was worth more than his sister's safety.

He gave the book to Emily and said, "Emily, I think it's going to hurt like hell if you choose to learn this book. But the end result would be worth it. You know that I wouldn't put you …."

Emily understood what her brother was trying to say and felt that she would end up in pain as Alex did two days ago if she learned the book. But she trusted her brother, so she didn't let Alex finish and grabbed the book.

As soon took the book from Alex's hands, a message appeared in front of her.

DING

"do you wish to learn the "dual job" book?"

"yes/no."

"what are you doing? Let me finish," said Alex in a hurry and tried to take the book out of her hands.

Emily chose "yes" without hesitation in fear that she would lose her courage if she had time to think.

For about ten seconds, nothing happened. It was like the calm before the storm, making Alex and Emily more anxious.

The next instant, Emily got a message saying, "please choose your second job's category:

1) mage

2) weapon specialist

3) warrior."

Emily looked at Alex and told her about the message.

Alex took a deep breath and said, "I think a mythic level healer would be the best option, so choose mage."

Emily chose mage without hesitation and got another message.

"Please choose your job's class:

1) healer

2) Elementalist

3) summoner

4) beast tamer."

There was no class with two characteristics this time.

Emily took a deep breath and chose "healer."

It didn't even take two seconds before she started screaming in pain and rolling on the ground.

As she tried to bang her head against the ground, Alex acted fast, stopped her, and held her tight.

When Alex saw his sister in so much pain, he too started crying.

Ha had the mind of a 27-year-old person. Still, he couldn't help but feel a stinging pain in his heart when he looked at his sister's current situation.

It took about 20 seconds before Emily stopped struggling and fainted in her brother's arms.

Alex gently lifted her, went back to the house, and put her in her bed.

He didn't leave his side for three whole days until she finally opened her eyes.

"Alex? did I do it?" asked Emily, still laying on the bed.

"yes, yes. You did it. You did good, Emy. Now let's eat something. Then we can talk about the rest."

They went to the kitchen, where Alex had prepared a fancy dinner. Alex didn't know when Emily was going to wake up. So every day, he made a fancy breakfast, lunch, and dinner so that if Emily woke up, she had something to eat.

"wow, Alex, when did you learn to cook like this?" said Emily after taking a bite of the delicious stake on her plate.

'I learned it in my previous life' was what Alex wanted to say but ended up saying, "I watched a lot of cooking shows while you were sleeping."

After dinner, Alex asked Emily about her stats, so Emily looked at them and read everything there was to read.

Emily Adams

Age:10

Blood type: A+

Level: 20

job: holy hatcher, demonic healer

title: _ _ _

skills:

active: healing hand (level 1), dark blast (level 1)

passive: spell cast (level 1), mother's warmth (level 1)

integrated nanobots: 4,000,000,000

strength: 50

agility: 50

stamina: 50

mana 200

free stat points: 40

"you've got two passive skills? And what is this dark blast active skill? Did you just get an offensive skill as a healer??" Alex said with a jealous look on his face "your luck is truly beyond good."

"hehe, I'm that good brother," Emily giggled, clearly happy with his brother's surprise expression.

"ok, give me three billion of your INBs," said Alex. he feared that the bug in the system would disappear at any moment, so he wanted to make the best out of every opportunity.

"brother. Shouldn't you be the one giving me money? Why are you always asking me for money?" said Emily in a teasing manner.

Alex got red for a second before retorting "little brat, who do you think gave the other eight billion INB to buy that dual job book? You still owe me money, so just hand over all you have."

"ok, ok, I will give you three billion. You don't need to be a baby about it," said Emily, giggling.

The first thing that Alex wanted to buy was a legendary skill book called "shadow clone." It was an OP skill that generated two realistic clones of the person.

In his previous life, this skill was one of the skills that every melee fighter looked for. But the rank of the skill made it very hard to find. Alex only knew of five people in the whole world with this skill, and one of them was his previous guild master.

'Sorry, boss, but I'm going to have it first,' thought Alex before purchasing the skill.

When he bought the skill, he still had a million INB, so he decided to buy an epic gear for Emily to raise her defense.

DING

"because of the insufficient nanobots in the environment, the purchase can't be completed."

Alex wasn't surprised when he read the message. After all, to form a defensive gear out of thin air, there needed to be hundreds of billions of nanobots in the surroundings to get together.

So Alex settled for the next best thing and bought a hologram of the gear until he could buy the real one.

The difference between the real and hologram was in their defense. While the hologram could replicate the defense of the real one against the holographic attacks that were only stimulated by the brain, the real one could also defend against the actual physical attacks.

It was complicated how the real one functioned. The simplified version was like this. the nanobots in the actual gear would momentarily change place with a hologram and go to the point of impact to form a hard object to defend the user.

Alex could always pay the extra INB to turn the hologram into actual gear, so he wasn't worried about losing money.

After purchasing the gear, a hologram watch appeared in Alex's hand, and he gave it to Emily.

"look through the clothes in the database; you can also pay extra to buy other clothes, but they are all holograms, so be sure to always wear real clothes under them." Explained Alex.

In the end, Alex was left with less than a hundred million INBs and a bleeding heart.
