Champions?

"ALEX" everybody shouted as soon as Alex and Asue exited the rift. 

Alex's face was twisted, and it was apparent that he was suffering from something. 

What did you do to him????" Sid shouted at Asue, "I knew I shouldn't have trusted you." 

"I…. I was just…." Asue opened her mouth to defend herself, but nothing came out.

She felt like crap. 

If only she had told him everything from the beginning.

If only she had more power.

If only …. .

There were so many "if"s in her mind, and she didn't know what to do. 

She was frustrated, and Sid didn't make it easier for her to think properly.

"You what? What did you do?" Sid shouted, not letting anybody else talk.

"SID," Max shouted, getting him out of the way to see the situation more clearly, "Asue, what happened?" he asked as he put a hand on Asue's shoulder to calm her down.
