The Guests

"Kade?" Danica called several times. However, the young man she called didn't turn at all. His forehead furrowed, staring at the large photo hanging on the wall, looking very confused.

"What's up?" Unnoticed, William was already by Kade's side, asking the man who was two-thirds his age. "Something wrong?"

Kade shook his head, "She turns out to be your wife ... ah, she already has a child, huh!" Kade blurted out nervously.

"You mean?" William asked with a high level of suspicion. "Did you meet Paula?"

"Paula?" Kade asked, more confused. "Oh, I must have mistaken someone else. Haha ..."

Kade swallowed hard and looked at William in fear as he just realized that he made a mistake. "Ah, I'm very tired, sir. Let me borrow your room to rest."

William nodded slowly, not taking his eyes off Kade's eyes which were now looking anywhere but at William. Danica then reached for Kade's wrist and pulled him to walk to the guest room with her.
