Aunt Julia vs Baby Lukie

Danica listened to her boss scolding lazily, contrary to her feigned serious look. It was still early in the morning. However, her boss had already blamed her for the chaos, including how she couldn't discuss anything related to Paula in front of Lukas.

Of course, Danica didn't feel guilty at all. Yesterday's incident happened due to the negligence of the butler and the bodyguards.

"So, I'll give you a bonus cut this month," concluded William, scowling at Danica. He had to teach his assistant a lesson.

Danica's eyes widened at William's decision. However, she was too lazy to argue with him. What for? Threatened him that she would get resigned if he cut the bonus? No. She wouldn't find a salary as big as in his company. It was useless because she won't go anywhere.

"By the way, I heard that today you allowed Julia to see Lukas, huh?" asked Danica, changing the topic.

William's brows furrowed. He nodded. He knew that if Danica had changed the topic, it was a sign that she wasn't going to listen to whatever he was going to grumble about. It was a stop-sign alarm. That was how it was. He didn't want to lose Danica either. There would be no assistant who would work for him as well as that woman.

"My son is in a bad mood. I think he needs some … entertainment," William answered casually. "By coincidence, Henry said that Julia wanted to visit Luke. There's nothing wrong with me giving the boy a present, right?"

William's eyebrows rose as he smiled cynically at his assistant. Soon, Danica laughed out loud because she understood what William meant.

Meanwhile, at the mansion, Lukas lazily listened to his math teacher's explanation of adding apples to apples and its variations. To him, it was a lesson only befitting a child that had just been born into the world. Meanwhile, The boy felt that he was as old as his grandparents with all the hardships that he suffered in life.

"Young master, I told you that you had to pay attention to what I was explaining, didn't I?" Mr. Wilson felt offended because Lukas yawned many times while looking out the window with his annoying lazy face. "What should I report to your father if you get a low grade in math?"

Luke turned to his teacher. He pursed his lips, pouting in annoyance. "I've explained twice to you that I'm not the least bit interested in your explanation, Mr. Wilson! Do I have to say ten times so that you will understand?"

"Young master! Sorry, but I was allowed to scold you and force you to study," snapped old Mr. Wilson in his old-fashioned and annoying teaching style. "I've added the difficulty level. Look! I'm teaching you algebra."

"I told you that algebra is too easy for me! Have you not read my portfolio?" Luke protested, slamming the table hard. He stood up from his chair, about to run away from the room.

However, just as the boy opened the door, an even more annoying sight greeted him. There was Julia who was flabbergasted because she didn't expect the door to open at that moment.

"Oh, baby! How are you? I miss you!"

Julia rushed over, hugged Luke, and made the little man's cheeks flatten with too much pressure. The little man was very annoyed when he had to feel Julia's embrace.

"Aunt Julia, haven't I told you, stop pressing my face with your fake big boobs," Lukas grumbled incoherently as he tried to get away from Julia.

Hearing Luke's insult, of course, Julia got angry. "You damn son of—Oh, Lukie baby, you can't say such vulgar things." Julia immediately corrected her rude attitude, pretending to be patient with the boy's impolite behavior. Her dark brown eyes then caught the presence of another figure there, Mr. Wilson. "Ah, are you studying? Why didn't Henry tell me."

Mr. Wilson nodded. "That's right, starting today, young master is studying at home." Mr. Wilson didn't know the reason why Lukas was banned from going to school by the boy's father. "Supposedly, during study hours, no one else disturbed him."

Mr. Wilson's sarcasm made Julia's face darken for a moment. She swore in her head that she would fire the man if she became the mistress of the mansion in the future.

"Ah, Mr. Wilson, why are you so mean to my aunt?" Suddenly, Luke changed his attitude. "She's my mother's sister. You also have to pay her some respect," defended Lukas.

Julia's face brightened. Luke's sweet demeanor made her happy. "Lukie, you are so wise. Now tell me, did this teacher piss you off so much that you want to run out of his lesson?"

Suddenly, an even brighter idea popped into Luke's mind. "Mr. Wilson is a great teacher. But, the lesson that was explained was too difficult. Why don't you help him and explain it to me?" coaxed the little man with a hidden sly grin in his mind.

Julia's eyes widened. Since Luke was only a five-year-old boy, how hard would it be to accept such a challenge? If with this, Lukas would like her, it was not a difficult task, right?

"Of course! I will be happy to help you study, Lukie baby!"

Lukas didn't like being called 'baby' or 'Lukie'. It all sounded so ridiculous to his ears. However, he hated it even more because it was Julia who had said that.

"Mr. Wilson, you can take a rest a moment. Let Aunt Julia take over for you," Lukas asked in a suddenly sweet manner.

Mr. Wilson complied. As long as Lukas was willing to learn, it wouldn't be bad to let someone else take over his job.

"Which part do you not understand?" asked Julia, then sat down nicely beside Lukas.

Lukas then gave one of the questions given by Mr. Wilson. "Here, Aunty! Do you know how to solve this algebraic problem?"

Julia smiled and convinced herself that the questions Luke had given couldn't be difficult. She then read aloud the sentence in the problem, "Alana ran 100 meters in twenty seconds. Next, she managed to increase her speed by a quarter. However, her new record is still one-fifth slower than her target. What is Alana's target?"

Julia's self-confidence suddenly disappeared. Why would a kid at Luke's age learn such a thing? She glanced alternately at Lukas and Mr. Wilson in disbelief.

"Come on, Aunt Julia! Explain it to me! You can also use the bar model if it's too difficult for you!" Lukas grinned widely.

Julia could only curse in her head. However, she did not lose the idea to save herself from embarrassment. "Mr. Wilson! Why would you give a question as complex as this to a five-year-old?"

"I will be six years old in a week," Lukas corrected slowly.

Mr. Wilson gasped and answered. "However, Young Master said that the problem was too easy for him."

Julia was inflamed. "How could Lukas say that? He said it was difficult, didn't he? Are you lying to me, Lukie?"

Lukas' green eyes pretended to glisten with tears. "If you need proof, how about we work on this problem together?" asked the boy.

The competition begins. Mr. Wilson gave some papers and pens to Lukas and Julia. "Start!"
