CHAPTER 19 Betrayed by Dreams

　　Elsie's POV

　　After tucking Gracie in soundly to sleep, I left her room quietly. Sneaking toward the door, I took one glance at her before leaving. She had become worn out from her busy day, and had fallen asleep instantly. I smiled as I watched Gracie sleep, how pure and sweet she was. 

　　I left the door ajar ever so slightly. Just as Gracie asked, and stepped lightly across the hallway to my room. I noticed the door was open, when I knew for a fact I closed it, as I always had. I liked my privacy. My room was the only place in this house I could have my own time. 

　　Upon entering the room, I saw Oris standing there. He seemed to be studying my shelves, his eyes wandering the collection of books and the odd ornament I had displayed on them.

　　I cleared my throat, startling Oris as he jumped lightly "Oh Elsie," he said with shock in his voice. As though he hadn't expected me to be in my own bedroom "You're here, I was waiting for you,"
