Day is hell

Friendship soiled

Sun brings grief

Night makes me dream

Day seems dark

Moon brings pride to my soul

Out there so fair

I wander the ghetto

Friendship no compromise

It started from the marijuana we smoked together

Slided to the street

It's dark cold but free

Love found its way

Though it's empty

From the pills we shared

It brought smiles

At night I was awake

Peace came

Friends came

I made moves

Boredom flee

And I came to distinct

Appear to conclude

I feel pride at night
