Chapter 3: From Home room to Home

As homeroom ended, Aaron felt the tension in the room finally break, everyone just seemed to move on.

"Maybe they don't care?" He thought;

"I have no problems with that."

And for the moment it seemed like he was correct. For the rest of the day, once agian, now one batted an eye at him.

"Hum, guess they were just surprised I was here."

Aaron made it to the final bell without any more hitches.

Which help to calm his nerves and focus on getting accustomed to the feel of highschool.

But as he walked home, he couldn't help but think about how the morning's Homeroom incident would effect his stay at Grey Phoenix.

However, this all melted away once he reached his home, and as he opened the front door, Along with the smell of his mother's cooking, the whole atmosphere of the situation changed completely, as he left the cold day to step into the warm home for the night.

"Welcome back Aaron!!" She said;

"How did you first day go?"

"Eh, it could have gone better, but it worked out." Aaron replied.

"Oh, what happened?" She replied.

"Just a little freakout, nothing huge." He said; "It was kinda embarrassing not going to lie."

"Aww, that's too bad." She said;

"Well hopefully we can shake that off for ya!" "I made your favorite!"

"Thanks Mom" he said back.

"When's Dad coming back?"

"He should be back soon." She said;

"Just head on up to your room for now, I'll call you when dinner is ready."

"Ok" he said in reply.

As Aaron walked up the stairs to his room the feeling of the home began to sink in even more.

Appon entering his room he quickly changed into a t-shirt and shorts, and hopped onto his computer, to check out a global book auction.

"Hum, this sight has got some interesting stuff." He thought;

"First edition of "The Hobbit", looks like it's in good condition too!"

He looked through the web sight, for a few minutes before finding something he hadn't seen before.

"Wait, what is this?" Aaron thought;

"Hum? Mythical Beastiary? What does that mean? Oh! It's an index containing information on fantasy creatures from books eh?"

"You know what, why not! It's not expensive, the buyout is only Twenty dollars and it sounds cool!"

As he bought the mysterious book, his mom called him down for dinner.

All seemed right in his world, for now.
