[Ancient Dragon Rank: Demi-God Level: 900 HP: 200,000,000/200,000,000 State: Aggressive] [Mountain God Rank: Demi-God Level: 900 HP: 250,000,000/200,000,000 State: Furious] [Eye of Cthulhu Rank: Demi-God Level: 900 HP: 150,000,000,/150,000,000 State: Murderous] Three god-like entities face a human in a desolate land where space had been distorted. Just being near one was enough to kill any living organisms much enough to face one. This mysterious man didn't look pressured as he was enveloped in a white transparent orb that nullified the distorting space. "Let's end this madness and go home." The man summoned a steel staff in his hand. One diagonal wave, the steel staff expanded into the length of a skyscraper as it radiated the heat of the sun. The entities let out a wild roar as they fired an attack. The Ancient dragon roared an energy beam burning in purple light. The Mountain God fired a golden streak of light. The Eye of Cthulhu shot a powerful red Lazer. A single attack was enough to vaporize an entire planet and each one of them was aimed at the man. The man didn't cower nor flee from the incoming attack and simply stood as he etched a grin. "It's useless." The beams of light shot at him and as they made contact with the white barrier that encased him, it disintegrated into nothingness. Seeing that their attack didn't even work on the man, they felt angered and terrified at the man but they didn't falter as having the reputation of Demi-God, they continued to attack. They shot fires of attack but the man was completely unscathed. They began to slow down showing signs of their mana being depleted so the man immediately counterattacked. With a weave of his giant staff, the three entities were flung away into another continent, and the man chased and bombarded them with the staff. Their body was burned from the flame that enveloped the staff and beaten into chunks and mush. Their health quickly depleted as they couldn't do anything to defend against an attack that penetrates any form of defense. It was a one-sided massacre that left the demi-gods on the brink of death. A single hit from the staff was enough to kill them. Suddenly, the white barrier began to flicker as its effect duration was ending. The man was startled so, at the last second, he threw the final attack which killed the three simultaneously. He unequipped the items he wore as the side effects of the equipment came into effect which strained his body. [HP: 610/2,450,500] He was now on the brink of death as the debuff continued to stack. He wasn't sad that he was gonna die he was happy as tears fell out of his eyes. "Finally, I can go back home." His body uncontrollably twitch as foam covered his mouth. His eyes turned white and his veins became very visibly red. He turned purple and stopped twitching as he turned cold, becoming a corpse. Chapter 14: Hidden Boss

Tak!

Xerel stabbed the ground near her head. He gritted his teeth and stood back up. Theena opened her eyes as a shadow of a tall man covered her from the bright sun.

"W-why spare me? I tried to kill you after you tried to help me. Killing me is only the right thing, being sympathetic towards an enemy will become your weakness."

"Despite your malice towards men, killing a doting mother who's longing for her child would ruin my life. If my mother finds out about this, she'd scold me. Here, drink this."

Xerel opened a bottle of health potion and poured it on her mouth. Due to the heavy wounds in her body, she was unable to swallow the contents of the potion.

' She's too weak to drink the potion. In a few minutes, she'll die if she doesn't drink this potion.'

"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do."

"..?"

Xerel held her head up as he poured all the red liquid into his mouth. He pulled her lips into his own and began doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Her wounds began to heal rapidly and the tattered cloak revealed her gorgeous body. She had quite a huge breast, slim waist, and wide hips, her cake was relatively big but enough to be considered a natural size.

Her eyes slowly opened as she felt a regeneration process healing his body. Her eyes immediately grew wide as she realized that she was being kissed by the man who tried to kill her.

She immediately pushed him away from his embrace as her grey face blushed.

"W-what were you doing to me, you bastard?"

"It seems that the potion worked, you couldn't swallow the potion by yourself so I helped you. You're healed now but try not to exhaust your body too much, your Mana looks to be drained so just walk slowly to your destination."

Xerel stood up as he looked around the place. Theena placed the sword back in her waist as she stood up and asked Xerel.

"Where will you be going?"

"I'm gonna go hunt some monsters, I need to be stronger to climb at the top of the tree."

She opened the pocket of her leggings and pulled out a butterfly emblem.

"This is the token of my gratitude for sparing my life."

"What is it?"

Xerel accepted the butterfly emblem. It was exuding the same purple aura that her sword emitted and looking at the badge, he was sure that it was something special.

"It's the medallion given to me after I became the queen of our race. With this, you'll be protected by mother nature once the time arrives if you need it. If there is a time we'll meet again on my planet, I'll be sure to welcome you with open arms."

"..!"

Xerel's eyes almost popped out of their sockets after reading the description of the medallion. It was an item that didn't need to be held since it didn't have a specific equipping slot so by just putting it in the inventory, the effects would still work.

"This is amazing! Thank you!"

Theena slowly walked away in the direction that Xerel told her and stopped midway. She looked at him and pulled his cloth as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you, I'll get going now."

Blushing in thought, she immediately run away. Xerel touched the cheeks where he was kissed wondering why she did that.

'Although she's quite the beauty, I don't feel any affection towards her. Probably because she reminds me of my mother. Maybe she saw me as a child.'

While running, Theena recalled the actions she did. She was blushing in red just thinking about it and wanted it to remove from her head.

'Why did I do that? Why is my heart beating fast? Is this what they call love? Ugh, it's so hot! I want to forget what I just did but I don't see to not forget about him? I'm a queen, I shouldn't be acting like this. Remember, she tried to kill you!'

She was rambling on her own not knowing that Xerel had parental-zoned her.

******************

Xerel started dashing all over the desert as monsters started fleeing away. There were giant centipedes that weren't able to run too fast and Xerel was able to catch up with them. They were helpless in front of Xerel and as he spun around their long bodies like wheel of blades, their hard exoskeleton shattered like glass as they died one by one.

Although Xerel didn't gain a level, he gained 20% percent experience but it was too insufficient. He started scavenging the dunes.

He encountered what looks to be a cyclone below the sands almost similar to a torpedo.

As he went close to it, a window panel appeared in his view.

[Basahra Pit

"So Dungeons even exist in this world? Though that's probably considering it's God's Domain, the dungeons here are different than I expected."

Dungeons would spawn from portals regularly. They are ranked: F, E, D, C, B, A, and S. There are also calamity ranked dungeons where its level surpassed that of an S rank dungeon and dealing with a calamity dungeon needed the help of two Overlord ranked hunters or a troop of elite S-rankers.

'Even though it's only rated as B+, it's a Primordial ranked dungeon. I don't know what type of monster I have to face but knowing that it's a dungeon, I could reap bountifully of loots.'

Xerel prepared his body in various ways. He first rested for a bit to wait for the cooldown of his consumable mana potion since after consuming a type of potion, you couldn't consume the same type for 5 minutes. His Mana was also being regenerated slowly by the effect of the Phantom Cape.

After his Mana was full, he entered the pit. His body swirled around the sand torpedo and fell on a slide as he arrived below the desert.

The scene in his eyes caused his heart to raise. He was in a wide and bright ant tunnel and seeing that the source of light was from Mana crystals embedded in the tunnels, Xerel's body trembled in excitement.

"Such a bright and pure Mana cluster!"

Xerel immediately walked to one as he felt the radiating energy come from the Mana crystals refreshing. A hard tug from his hand removed the Mana crystals from the ground and a window panel appeared in his view.

[Mana Crystal

"It's such a pure Mana Crystal! Just selling this from the market would put me in a life of luxury! I could buy anything I want from this and go anywhere I wish! I need to find more!"

Xerel started tugging the Mana crystals in the ceilings, walls, and ground as he put them on his spatial inventory. Despite being a dungeon, no monster dared to go near him as he continued to collect Mana crystals until 2 of his item slots were full (64 quantity is the maximum number a slot can hold).

"I've cleared all of the Mana crystals and it seems like I'm in an ant tunnel. I should be arriving at the Queen's nest now."

The tunnel was like a huge catacomb of a maze, there were lots of dead ends and as Xerel got deeper inside the tunnel, the smaller the tunnel became until the tunnel was only able to be crawled.

After a few hours of looking for the correct path, Xerel popped up from the ground like a mole covered in dirt as he arrived at a giant dome.

There were a lot of holes in the wall filled with ant eggs and he could see worker ants carrying the eggs from the center where the giant Ant queen was laying her children.

Immediately the Queen felt Xerel's presence as she shrilled loudly to her children.

Khieeeek!!

When the ants heard her call, every swarm of ants circled the queen to protect it from the intruder. The black working ants served as a shield for the larvae on the holes while the soldier red ants surround their queen as they bared their sharp claws.

Xerel stood up from the ground and casually walk towards the queen of the ants. With Crisis held in his hands, he was ready to rumble.

The title effect didn't work against the ants as they were being controlled by their queen.

Except for the Ant Queen, each ant was the level of legendary and there were a few ones ranked ancient. They all rushed at Xerel ready to clash as he too went forward to attack.

Swing! Swing!

Every spin with his daggers, Xerel would kill 4 ants at the same time as he aimed from the thorax which was the weakest part of the exoskeleton in their body.

Green blood and guts spread around the dome as more and more ants piled up. It was a one-sided massacre and Xerel felt an adrenaline rush in his entire body due to the effect of Asura's Breathing. Mountain of fire ants piled up behind him as he gained two levels and a bunch of items but although it was only what he gained from the red ants, Xerel was satisfied as he knew there were more coming.

Another swarm of ants rushed to Xerel but this time, there were flying ants along with them as their numbers reach tens of thousands with more backup incoming, Xerel wanted to lure more as he aimed directly at the holes in the walls as the helpless worker ants died along with the larvae.

He flew using Millen Spinning as he let the ants chase him. His speed was unrivaled as no ants could catch up to him while he slashed away the larvae to infuriate the queen as she watch her entire children slaughtered helplessly.

Khieeeeeeeekk!!!!

She screamed a deafening cry as the tunnel exits on the dome burst out with all of the ants. Now there were hundreds of thousands of ants moving in a giant wave to attack Xerel and he was both shivering and happy with the gruesome sight.

"[Thunder Havoc]"

A cloud of the storm appeared above the ceiling, thunder rumbled as lightning started sparking in the air.

'Ignition in caves is highly dangerous as they can cause huge explosions and to add more, monster ants don't exude oleic acid when they die but methane gas. Added with the fire properties of lightning, this whole dome is gonna be a sea of flames!'

Dug! Dudu! Dududug!

Lighting pillars struck the ants as when one sparked into flames, the combustion effect spread like wildfire.

Kayak!

Khieeeek!

.

.

Along with the ant queen, the ants screamed in pain and agony as they burned to death from the rain of thunder.

The ant queen's hundred million health rapidly fell that his berserk mode didn't even trigger properly as in no time, she died.

Countless window panels appeared in his view as he was rewarded with 50 more levels and hundreds of items.

With his fire affinity being so high, Xerel was immuned to the sea of flames as he waited for it to die out and waited for a few hours. The flames died leaving the charred bodies of ants.

"I need to get the Runestone of the Ant Queen before I leave. I hope it's something worthy to be used."

Xerel dug and scavenge around the burned bodies of the ants and found the Ant Queen dead flat on the ground. He opened its crispy exoskeleton head and found the brimming light of the Runestone.

It was the size of a basketball and had an ant emblem on the center of the stone.

"It's an overpowered skill but it's too costly, maybe in the future, I could use monsters to prevent any calamity that may befall Earth but here in this world, I have to kill rather than control them."

Xerel placed the Runestone on his inventory and removed most of the items that were useless for him on the ground.

While he was sorting his inventory, something caught his eye. Below some piles of corpses, there was light coming from it, he went close to inspect the light and saw a larvae survive. Unlike the other larvae, this one was twice the size and was shaped in a more egg-like form.

"Don't tell me this larva is gonna reveal some hidden cliché boss that I have to fight toe to toe?"

Soon the shell of the larvae cracked and revealed what seems to be a humanoid ant with a reddish flaming exoskeleton and tall structure along with sharp claws and wings.
