CHAPTER 3

Here before us all is;

The dark mirror.

The teacher began. Legend has it that the person who owned this mirror bought it at a psychic fair and said they saw "Terrible vision". When looking at it. It was alleged that the mirror actually reflect the biggest fear of the viewer. He explained slowly.

The student suddenly gasped at this.

Is this really true?

A girl suddenly asked from her expression it looks like she was a bit terrified.

Well, I don't know how true this is but it was said that people have reported seeing themselves age and disappear when they look into it. Also it was said that some visitors have reported seeing their own dead bodies when they gaze into the mirror. Creepy right the teacher suddenly said after his brief explanation.

The mirror was placed on a square shaped table and a loin clothe was used to cover it preventing viewers from seeing their reflection. it was about one feet tall and it looks like it was made with a wooden frame the loin cloth didn't cover one part of the frame. if one were to look deeper they were sure to see a tiny bit of the mirror.

Bahat whose whole attention had been on the dark mirror suddenly felt shiver running through his spine. What if the wind blew off the clothe and he See's his reflection. Puff!!

Nah that crazy. there is no way this is true. It just some old crazy legend. He concluded within.

The student followed the teacher as they all moved to another strange looking box more like a mini wardrobe.

Now Look what we have here the teacher suddenly said.

Is it just me or is it that this adventure is getting more creepier.

What is this?

The teacher suddenly asked a young man whose whole attention was on the box.

The man suddenly looked at the teacher with a questioning look. He wore an old fashioned Italian suite cladded with a cow boy hat. his face gave off the all so mafia lord well due to the serious expression he plastered on his face.

Understand his all so confused face the teacher suddenly said.

Ohhh sorry for the way I might have sounded earlier. My name is Mr Smart and here with me are my student as you can see we are currently on a tour round the museum trying to explain things to them and stuff.

Mr Smart explained feeling awkward at the moment he could have avoided this conversation but this strange looking box stole his whole attention.

This is the dybbuk box. The man suddenly said answering Mr Smart.

Wow!! never heard about this. The teacher exclaimed.

Well, the dybbuk box is a wine box that is said to be hunted by a "dybbuk" an evil spirit who is supposedly able to possess people.

Po...ss...ess people A girl who had tied her hair in a pony tail suddenly said.

Is this really true. She asked the strange looking man.

Well, no one know for sure how true this is we only get to read these from books written by people who claimed to have experienced it. The man answered calmly.

Henry had being quiet all through the tour which was kinda surprising. I could tell was kinda scared to from the expression he gave off.

Mr Smart are those real human skull he suddenly asked facing the adjacent end

There was different box shaped glass each bearing a human skull within.

Of course they are. The Mafia looking man suddenly said

This made all the student gasped out.

Whatttt!!!! Why would they keep human skull I'm the museum

Henry complained

Ok student let not get all freaked it alright we are all safe

Mr Smart said trying to ease the student tension. He never expected the student reaction. He had expected them to be curious.

Looks like this years tour was filled with scary newbies.

Letting out a deep sigh.

Ok kid now it time for you all to be grouped the teacher said trying to ease our fear. Sorry to break it to you all but I will be the one to do the grouping so let begin. The excitement we all felt since we were informed about this trip totally extinguished and was now replaced with something else. Don't worry kid the museum isn't hunted why this expression

Ok let move to a more cool and interesting session. Mr Smart trying to ease the student fear.

Hummm Mr .... Huhhh where did he go ?

The strange looking Man was no where in sight.

Maybe he left already. Bahat said.

I never got to say thank you. The teacher said feeling a bit sad.

Well, no worries.We still have a whole day in the museum am sure we might see him around pretty soon.

Mr Smart along with the student all moved to another session. this place was less scary he promised, looking around it shows that this part of the museum holds a much larger crowd. The student all felt a bit relaxed after observing their environment. Noticing this Mr Smart let out a pleasant smile before he began grouping them all. Each group were six in number and there were about four different groups leaving Bahat as the only student left.

Bahat right? I heard the teacher calling my name

Yes I said nodding

Well since u are the only one remaining then a group will be having seven participants

Go join group Two the teacher instructed

I nodding quickly before going to join my group members. The groups consisted of two girls and four boys with only Group two having five boys instead.

Ok student now let the adventure begin and be careful not to get lost ok. If any of you find yourself going the wrong way you can Alway ask the security guards around they are all stationed at different session in the museum. Mr Smart said addressing the student.

After giving them further instructions on how to carry out their task the student were finally left on their own. Some group still remained in this particular session due to it was less scary while some decided to move to other sessions

Bahat and Lucas were both on the same group. And this made bahat happy. If only Henry wasn't in his group it would have made him much more happy.

I just hope he doesn't spoil this for us all. Bahat could only pray silently. Other members in his group were Stacy and Abigail both girls and lastly Bruno and Kamal both boys.

They all left this session after coming to a conclusion that this place was filled with stuff they are familiar with in books.

"So I am the group leader and I get to choose where we will all go"

The all so big Henry suddenly blurted out.

No Henry! Mr Smart never talked about having a group leader we just have to come together and make a final conclusion as a team. Abigail said suddenly feeling angry. She was known as a very rude and proud fellow in college. just because her parents were wealthy and most of the advanced structures in the school were donated by her father.

Ah ah ahh just what the hell are you saying. Henry suddenly said obviously getting angry too.

Guys, Guys, let just work together as a team no need choosing a leader. Remember we are no longer in school. We won't want to give out school a bad name here. Kamal the all so quiet boy in the class suddenly said

Bahat just stared at his group members as they exchanged words. He suddenly realized his group consisted of strange people in his class.

Let just keep going. Lucas added.

Trying to ease the angry baboons

With this they all kept quiet and continue the tour.

Heyyy!!! kids are you all looking for something.

All gaze were now on the person who had interrupted their discussion.

It was that mafia looking man again.

Yes we were given a task to research on something filled with mystery. Bahat replied

For some reason he just loved the Aura this strange man was emitting.

Something with mystery hummm

The Man repeated putting his ring finger at the tip of his lip.

Ok follow me I have something with a lot of mystery that u can make research on. At first the student was a bit hesitant. Even though this man had helped them earlier this doesn't change the fact that he was a stranger to them and more reason they shouldn't follow him was that he wasn't a security guard in the museum.

Noticing this The man said, Don't worry kids if you don't want to go I won't force you. I was only trying to help that all.

Of course we will come, not like you are taking us out of the museum. Henry suddenly let out and he received a deadly gaze from Abigail. Don't look at me like that this kind Mr is only trying to help us out

After much Deliberation They finally followed the Mafia looking man. He kept going deep into the dark session of the museum and this made the student regret why they agreed to follow him in the first place. They couldn't go back now and there is no one to show them the way out. The route they took was kind of narrow and they made many turns of which the student never paid attention to.

Where are you taking us

Lucas suddenly asked.

It a placed filled with mystery

The most mysterious place in the museum

The man replied still walking.

Let just go back. Henry suddenly shouted from his tone it looks like he was getting scared.

Bahat couldn't explain what he felt that moment. All he knows was that he was curious to know where this man was taking them to.

Relax kid after making your research we will all leave together. The man said trying to ease their fear.

And so they all went deep into this narrow path. They took a couple of stairs downward before arriving at a strange dark place.

Looks like this place has not being visited for a very long time as there were cobwebs around and the room was filled with dust.

Where is this place. Abigail asked feeling frightened.

Why did you bring us here

Let just go back

There are still cool mystery stuff above.

Why bring us down here.

She kept asking non stop.

Relax kid we are almost there

Just a few step and ...

He couldn't complete his statement because he suddenly fell in a deep swing looking hole.

He all heard as his loud scream faded away.

Ohhhh no we are all dead. Abigail suddenly said giving her hair a rough squeeze in the process.

None of them had noticed the hole earlier on

They could have avoided it.

It was kinda like a trap or something because it was covered with a black leather jacket.

What should we do now

Should we call for help

But who knows the way out of here because I don't

Stacy kept talking non stop from her tone it looks like she was about to cry.

Let just go save him and get out of here. Bahat suggested.

Save him!!!! I won't go into what ever he fell into. Abigail shouted

We could have just stayed up there with the others now look what we've gotten ourselves into.

Following a strange man we just met few minute ago to only he knows where. And now he has fallen into some kinda trap with obviously no way out.

How do u expect us to save him.

Abigail kept on ranting non stop trying to catch her breath after making her long speech her gaze flew from one person to the other and they all have her that disgusted look.

The only option is to go after him. we can't just stay here waiting for some kinda help from no where. Lucas said. He wouldn't deny the fact that he was scared about the idea but there was no other way.

Let find our way out of here there is no way am going into in there

Abigail blabbered again.

After so much Deliberation, nagging and curses they finally decided to go into the strange looking hole. It was the only way out.
