Chapter 2

The weather today is not so good. The cloud is dark and started to form and in a while for sure it will start to rain. I really hate getting cold and wet specially in rainy season. Good thing, I was in the right age, so I convinced aunt zild to allow me to have a car and drive for myself.

For this kind of weather, I feel to listen to chilling' music. I played my favorite song. It keeps me relaxed while driving.

I almost reached our house when the rain started to fall. I immediately park my car and went out of the car. Damn! I forgot my umbrella. I looked around, but there's nothing in my car. I only have my bag. I covered my head and ran in our house. The door is locked. I don't have a choice but to knock.

knock! knock!

"Aunt Zild? Please open the door" In less than a minute she opens it. She looked worried seeing I got wet and cold in the rain. "Get inside!"

My body is shivering. I really hate when it's raining. I saw aunt zild immediately get a towel and covered it around me to keep me warm. She leads me to the living room. I sat on the couch. "Stay here I will just get you something hot to drink." She's like a mother to me. I dry myself with a towel.

My phone rings. It's Donald and I picked that up. "Hey, I'm..." he cut me off with his loud and high pitched voice.

"Where were you?" I put the phone few inches away from my ears because it's hurting my ears. Whenever he's talking it really hurts my eardrums.

"Didn't you get my text?" I forgot to tell him that I went home. "Sorry, I forgot. I have important things to discuss with aunt zild that's why I forgot to text you."

"Anyways, Hailey visited our class earlier to campaign for her candidacy."

She still has that ambition. She never changed.

"And you know what? She got even prettier and sexi..." He stopped talking, maybe he realized that he's talking too much about my ex. Not only talking, but complimenting her.

"Oh, I'm.. I'm sorry bro, I got carried away."

I just don't know what to say because I always knew that Donald likes Hailey even if he knew that Hailey and I are together. Before it was our issue, but now it's okay. I don't care.

"It's okay. It's been a year."

It's been a year since Hailey and I broke up. If you think that a weirdo like me won't be able to find a famous girl like Hailey? Well, you're wrong. I already moved on and so as she.

He's still talking nonsense so I hang up the phone. "Talk to you later, bye."

Aunt Zild came back with a tray with a bowl and mug, then put it in the center table. I opened the bowl and there's my favorite corned soup and a cup of hot chocolate. I'm a bit hungry, so I indulge it right away.

"Ah Colby? Don't you have class?" Damn! I can't say that I got kicked out of the class. I think ate the soup while thinking fast. I pretend that I am busy eating.

"Young man? answer my question." I put down the bowl and said. "Aah.. Ou..Our teacher is absent today, so we decided to go home." I took a sip from the cup.

She took a deep breath and said, "You could have text me that you will go home specially when it's about to rain. You know that you can get sick!" I know that even though she's scolding me, she loves me.

She's been with me since I was three when my real mom left me. She has always been there for me even after my dad died when I was seven years old. Aunt Zild is the elder sister of my father. Aunt Zild raised me like her own child. Since then, she has given all her life taking care of me.

"Are you listening Colby Zoe De Ville?" I stand up and hug her. "I'm sorry aunt zild, it won't happen next time." then I realized that I have something important to tell her.

"Aunt Zild, I have something to tell you. Do you still remember the dream that I have been talking about?" she looked at me frowning. "We talked about this, right?" I saw this coming.

"But aunt, let me just explain this to you."

I get my laptop and search for the article that I have read a while ago. The article about Oneirology.

"There!" I pointed the screen and she looked at it with her thick eyeglasses.

"I have dreamt again about the scenes that I have been dreaming since I was a kid and then I did a small research earlier about it and I found this." She took a little closer to the screen to read it.

"I was thinking that maybe that can answer my questions. Maybe I really need a medical professional to answer my questions. Maybe there's something that is happening with my brain."

After aunt zild read the article, she took off her glasses and looked at me. "You are fine and I'm sure that there is nothing wrong with your brain."

"But Aunt Zild,"

She stands up. "But if this will answer your questions, maybe we can try." I was surprised about what she said so I hugged her tightly. "But in one condition." I stopped and look at her. "This was the last time you'll try to find meaning in that dream, okay?" I smiled and agreed to her.

"Colby, go to your room now and change your clothes. I will just call my friend to inquire about the oneirology or any medical experts that can help you. Maybe we can get an appointment."

I went to my room and changed my clothes. It's still raining. I checked my phone and it's already 5 p.m. I lay on my bed. It's been a long day. I get tired and sleepy.
