Sacrifice

They reached home.

At the gate, the car is parked and they walk out.

"That smell is weird and unfamiliar," Jessica said frowning her eyebrows.

"What smell?" Soya asked.

"What is he doing here?!" Sam asked.

"Who is he?" Arni asked.

"No wonder they came back running," Leo said.

"Who the fuck is this he?!" Jessica asked frustratedly.

"You will know as we go in," Max said. The girls nodded.

They walked into the house,

The boys were in front of the girls and it seemed they were holding them back from doing something. As they walked into the living room, the boys had anger written on their faces whereas the girls were confused.

"He seems familiar," Jessica said squinting her eyes.

"I can't believe you can't recognize your own father," Max said.

"Correction only biological father and not my fault he hasn't been around to me to remember him" Jessica shrugged.

"Jessica?!" the man asked.

"George why did you even call us three just after two lectures" Jessica gave him a blank and done look.

"I thought you might want to talk you know," George said. Jessica rolled her eyes.

"Sorry not sorry but I don't want to waste my time and energy talking to crap" Jessica smiled which was not matching her eyes. The others looked shocked whereas the two girls were proud of her.

"How can you talk about your father like that?!" the man snarled.

"I am going back to my room" Jessica ignored his talks and left from there.

"There will be drama," Max said.

Jessica turned her way to the kitchen and brought some snacks. She gave the snacks to the two girls as the three of them sat on the couch and start munching the snacks.

"What are you guys doing?" Lia asked.

"Drama was going to happen so we are preparing for it," Soya said.

"And don't worry we might add some oil in the fire if needed or we want," Arni said while eating.

"Your mother didn't raise you well" the man shook his head while looking at Jessica.

"At least she raised me better than you and taught me to ignore shits," Jessica said.

"The disrespect! I am elder than you"

"But you act like a greedy three-year-old"

"Who is she?" Max blinked.

"I am proud of you girl" Soya patted Jessica's back like a proud mother.

"George why did you bring her here?" the man asked.

"Because it's time, I mean the time is coming soon"

"Does she know?"

"No"

"What time is coming?" Max asked.

"Nothing you need to know" George replied.

"I need to know and I don't think she knows either" Max added as he looked at Jessica's confused face.

"And who are you to know?" the man asked Max.

"Her mate mister," Max said with a serious expression.

"Did she accept you as a mate?" the man asked.

Max had nothing to say in this because it was true that Jessica still hadn't accepted him but "I haven't rejected him either" Jessica said. Max looked at her with a smile on his face thinking that she started accepting him but his smile was when Jessica said "Don't get your hopes up"

"What are you both laughing at?!" Max asked the two boys who were controlling their laughs.

"I think she should know too," Lily said as she sat beside the girls.

"Why? Am I going to be sacrificed?!" Jessica asked and the room went silent.

The vampires had to no words tell, it seemed like what Jessica said was true. The wolves and humans looked at Lia and George with shocked faces.

"So I am going to be sacrificed?" Jessica asked in disbelief.

"Yes child" the man "Because you are a girl" everyone had their eyes wide.

"So you brought me to kill me?! THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT BRINGING ME! YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED ME LIKE A MYSTERY! YOU SHOULD HAVE NOT MADE ME HAPPY AND TRIED TO MAKE ME TRUST ME. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE ANYTHING BEHIND ME! WHY DID MY MOTHER TRUST YOU WHY-" Jessica was angry.

"Jess calm down" Soya tried to calm Jessica down.

"Will Max release his pheromones work because we have to talk," George said.

"It should," Tzuyu said and nodded to Max and he did it.

Max kept doing it for a little while and it calmed down Jessica only a little but enough to keep her shut and listen.

"You can leave," Lia said to that man.

"I am not"

"Yes, you are," George said.

"Why should I?!"

"Because he said so and this is his house right?" Soya looked around for a nod but no one gave her a single nod.

"So this place is not his?" Arni asked. The others nodded.

"What the fuck here is yours then?" Arni added and Sam was about to say something when she said "I am serious" Sam closed his mouth.

"This house is owned by my grandparents," George said.

"So technically this is neither his nor yours?" Soya asked. George nodded.

"Then why are you both in this house?!" Arni is frustrated.

"See I don't care who is he staying but just god dammit say why am I here?!" Jessica said.

"I can't say unless he goes," George said.

"And why is that?!" Jessica asked.

"Please understand, I promise I will tell everything only if he goes" George begged.

"I don't know about him but for me, you only donated a sperm so get your ass out of here before I kick it," Jessica said politely.

"Dad please-"

"Mister get out because you have caused enough problems and we don't want more," Lia said this time and he nodded and went.

"Sit we will explain," Lia said as he pointed towards the couch.

Everyone nodded and sat on the couch. Lia and George sat in the middle and others surrounded them.
