"Won't you say anything Ria ?" her dad asked,she had been quiet the whole journey and he was starting to wonder what was happening in her brain.

"What am I supposed to say dad ?" she looked up to look at him ,her glare was more than deadly that he even moved a little further.

"Am I supposed to say 'Am very happy to be engaged at twenty three '" she asked and the car stopped.

She stomped out and her dad was quick to follow her . She was burning with fury as she walked past the maids. The maids were surprised to see her that way.

"I need to change this stupid clothes " she muttered through her clenched teeth.

"Ria ,you're the only one who can save me and the company now " he said and she stopped in her tracks, she could really sympathize with him now but she had to keep her stand.

" Is that man going to give you the finances after my engagement " it was more of a question.

" No ,he has already began financing me ,after the engagement the money will be increased and then " he feared how she would react now " after marriage it will be....." he kept quiet after seeing how she reacted.

"Marriage !" she screamed and begun to walk to the door ,all heads turned to look at the angry girl " seems like you've already planned my future dad "

"Where are the car keys ?" she asked the driver who quickly walked away to get them.

If looks could kill all of them would be dead beginning with the poor driver.

"Please Ria don't lea.." her dad pleaded.

"Don't you dare stop me dad and don't dare send your stupid goons to come after me ,I can take care of myself ", she walked to the car and drove away.

Her dad walked to his room and shut the door behind him. He sat on the bed and let out a deep sigh.

That fucking bitch was getting back at him through his daughter.

Ria didn't even know to where she was driving to .She stopped at the far end of the park near a wooden seat. She walked out and sat. She did not cry nor smile. She was void of any emotions. She just played with her fingers. She needed a distraction.

The glow of her dress caught the attention of some one. He began to walk towards her.She looked appealing to the eyes. Her brown hair cascaded down her back. Her dress hugged her curves perfectly. He was already towering before her.

Ria saw the black boots before her. She looked up to see the handsome face smiling at her. She had never seen him smile so widely such that his white teeth were visible.

"Today is really our day princess " tristan spoke then proceeded to sit beside her. She kept quiet and stared at his face and he also did the same . They just sat there staring at each others faces. To him ,she looked like a moon goddess and to her ,he was a distraction to fish her out of her chaos.

"Enjoying the view ?" he asked and she flushed but this time she wasn't embarrassed at all,this is after all what she needed.

She bit her lip and moved her gaze away from him.

"What are you doing out here all alone Ria ?Its not nice for a beautiful lady as yourself to be out here alone " he was reprimanding her as if he was her dad or older brother.

"Just needed some fresh air and some distraction " she said as she looked at the green grass.

He stood abruptly and she looked at him.

"We need to leave now Ria " he looked dead serious.

"Why??" she was puzzled .

"Let's go ,will you drive ?" tristan asked as he offered his hand.

"No, you drive " she replied as his eyes lit up in excitement.

She smiled and hopped into the car and drove away fast. He kept looking back at intervals.

"Is your place far from here ?" she asked. She knew her dad would obviously follow her through the car and she wanted to dispose off of it. She had no intention of going home ,rather be with a stranger than being in at home tonight.

"More or less but we can walk its not too far " he said still driving slowly "Why ?"

" I don't want to go back home " she was worried what he would say "and I need to dispose the car so that my dad does not follow me "

He just smiled "I see there some family issues then let's alight here and walk "

He stopped the car and they walked the rest of way.
