Knott and his men were forced to retreat for the time being.

There are numerous reasons why Knott has decided to retreat. For one, they don't know why the enemy was attacking therefore they didn't know why they are fighting or what they are fighting for.

Second is that they have no idea of what the enemy's side can do or what they have in stock for them. Either way, judging from what they have seen so far, it's no doubt that they are dealing with a group of superhumans.

This was even the reason Knott decided to retreat. The enemy was strong, at least strong enough to match up to his strength. Their speed was something Knott didn't want to think about because even he couldn't even see the shadow of the enemy when they decides to go fast.

Then there was the last thing he saw, the major thing that was freaking him out. That was none other than the healing ability of the enemy.

'Am sure of what I saw, the hand that was destroyed, it was growing back, they can regenerate a lost limb. Just who are these people...' Knott wondered.

He have seen it happen before him, not just only the one he was fighting with, he also saw the same thing happening to those that somehow were injured by the bullets or so.

Knott did not find any reason for them to keep fighting. He was already struggling to land a significant blow on the enemy and yet the ones he managed to injure were recovering fast.

Knott has returned to a tent that was set where he will receive the report of what has happened.

Entering the tent, he already could see two men inside while standing side a table. On the table was a projected screen with the live fad of what was currently going on in the base areas.

This was possible thanks to the special tech drones the military have hovering in the sky reporting on what was happening.

"What do you guys have, who are these people and what do they want?" Knott asked the two specialists who were observing what was happening in the base.

"Thank goodness you are here... They are a few things we have to show you," one of the two said. It was a bail hair man that quickly welcomed Knott before moving on to explain what was going on and what they have found.

Knott on arriving at the table side, it was then he was able to see it. It was still the footage of the enemy strangely still not making a move to spread out through the base but rather standing at a particular area.

"I've already seen this, what about it?" Knott asked frowning as he was not understanding what was happening.

However, none of the specialists bothered to explain rather, they just zoomed in to a particular person that have a military helmet covering its head.

However, they were not zooming into the person's face but rather were aiming for the arms.

"It's not a coincidence that as soon as an explosion occurred in the morgue area and this whole thing broke out," One of the specialists took it up to himself to explain what they discovered.

"If I have mentioned this earlier you might think I'm exaggerating, that's why I want you to take a look at this and also think back to the helmet and the morgue house," the specialist explained.

Eventually, Knott could see it. On the right wrist of a man wearing a helmet covering his entire face, Knott could see the two scorpion tattoo crossing over each other.

"Wait... those tattoos, why do they feel familiar...?" Knott asked but he didn't have to think so much about it because he have figured everything out already.

"A scorpion tattoo...morgue and then helmet... This can't be... It can't be them, the virus has stopped spreading, how can that be...?" Knott said just as shocked as the others.

The scorpion tattoo was a tattoo Knott knew belonged to a late captain in the base. Scorpion as he was called also had a tattoo like this. However, there is one thing that was turning Knott's stomach as he think about this.

'I know the world is big but something is not right, why will this person have their tattoo at the exact place Scorpion had his own? They are also hiding their face plus they were in this explosion that occurred in the morgue house, is the zombie virus back...?' Knott have so many questions running through his mind.

As much as Knott wanted to believe that this wasn't the same person he used to know, unfortunately, there was just too much visible evidence that he can't ignore and prompt him into believing what the two specialists have to say.

"It seems like you have figured it out already, not just only him, there are a few more people. I don't know what is happening, whether the zombie virus is back in spreading or something else, but all I have to say is that if you guys are planning to kill those people, then you must do it the old faction way. Aim for the head," the man advice.

Knott already knows what the man meant by that. If the enemy sides were zombies then there is only one way they can kill a zombie, and that is by aiming for the head.

However, before that, he has to report what he just found out to someone and that is none other than General Goo.

Placing a call at the other end, General Goo soon pick up and Knott started to report. After that, Knott was finally through and General Goo gave his instruction on what to do next.

"Why are you even seeking my command, if you don't kill them now, they will kill you. Just do away with them no matter what it will take," General Goo said as he dropped the call.

'I can't believe he just said that those used to be your loyal dog, they are even dead because of your command and yet even now they are zombies you won't at least find an alternative way to sort out things,' Knott so much wanted to say this to General goo but kept quiet.

Of course, there was still a probability that their anticipation was wrong. Knott knows that zombies were not being that are known for agility. That was what most usually thought till the apocalypse broke out.

So much as Knott hates the way general goo has issued the command, he was right and Knott knows this.

'He's right about one thing and that is those zombies want to kill us, and what will be the essence of pitying them when their goal is to kill you? it will be a shame if we lose more of our men to them,' Knott thought...

Speaking of losing more men, it was already happening as the zombies were finally making their move as they summoned some strange weapons before them.

"What is that?" Knott's face frowned on seeing what suddenly appeared on the one he already know as the scorpion arm.

It was a bazooka with four holes. However, it looked far different from any he had ever seen. He couldn't even see when the bazooka was reloaded but it kept on firing shots that were far more destructive than the others.

"Just where is Zak and why is he not out here with me...!" Knott shouted in frustration.

Meanwhile, General Goo have just dropped the call from Knott and then faced the person standing before him.

"So..What brought you here... Zak...or should I say you who is pretending to be Zak," General Goo said with a smile.

Zak's face couldn't help but frown. 'How did he know?' Nate wondered.
