Something about Sin.

With bloodshot eyes, Sin was slowly approaching Nate and as he do so, Nate could hear the beast-like sound Sin was making. It was as if he was groaning.

Nate wasn't scared at all. rather was wondering how the former ended up like this just the few minutes he left him alone.

'That's all! No reward for that ?' nate became angry at the system but when thinking more about it, he found out that he has no reason to be angry because the task he was told to do was something that could be done just by a thought.

Suddenly, Sin rushed to nate but before he could reach him, he suddenly fall on the floor and slept off.

The atomic mark was a skill the system gave nate for a time like this. Nate can use the skill only on his initiated horde, though it was more effective on the force-initiated horde and could only be used on the agreement-initiated horde when they are somehow out of control and needs to be put in place.

'It's a pity, you seem stronger in the situation you were on but too bad I don't have the time to start fighting you,' nate thought before going to gather the others in one place.

Of course, the first person that recovered was Zuni. All the wounds on his body have disappeared it only remains the specks of dirt on his cloth.

"What happened here, why were you guys in that condition and what made Sin like this?" Nate started to throw so many questions at Zuni.

"As soon as you guys left, Sin demanded that we should spear with him, at that moment, nothing occurred, we were doing fine, although we were exhausted, Sin keep asking us to come at him, and he continued to fight till when we three were not able to take it anymore and passed out,"

"Due to my power, I was able to last longer than the others, while they are already sleeping, and I was still fighting with Sin, it was at this moment a whitebonez appeared. This one though was a bit different from the one you killed, it resembles the one we saw in the footage of Leo,"

"Sin has used him all to battle this whitebonez yet he wasn't able to do anything to it," Zuni paused for a moment.

Meanwhile, Nate marvelled at hearing this. He had seen the other whitebonez that was different from the one he killed but hadn't tested their strength, he have tested Sin's strength and know how strong Sin was, so he was surprised to hear that Sin was not able to do anything to the whitebonez even with the tnt gauntlet on. Regardless, Nate could also blame it on Sin's condition. Since Sin hasn't recovered fully from the fight with him, Nate felt like this might also be the reason Sin wasn't able to do anything to the whitebonez.

"What happened after that?" Nate asked.

"That was when Sin suddenly made a cut on his hand and let all his blood pull out, it was after he did this, he became like this and charged at the whitebonez. He wasn't able to kill the whitebonez but he still forced it to retreat," Zuni explained.

Nate could tell that Zuni still had more to say but was hesitating. "Speak!" Nate said this time with a commanding tone.

"He drank by blood, after he defeated the whitebonez and forced into retreat, he came to me and drank nearly all the blood in my body," while Zuni was saying this side, his body was shaking.

Meanwhile, Nate was left to think about what he just learned. He wasn't surprised that a whitebonez showed up after all they were at a place they initially assumed was their territory. But Nate was surprised and confused about Sin's part.

'Drinking of blood? This can't be what I'm thinking right? But they said he is a half-blood, he can't be a vampire right?' for a moment, Nate thought he was having a headache so he decided to tose the matter aside but right now, he has taken the fact that Sin wasn't a human nor a zombie, his race was still unknown but at least right now, Nate now has an idea of what Sin might be.

"Since the others were not aware of this, don't mention it to them, Sin will appreciate it if you don't, " Nate told Zuni before leaving the guy to go and check on something.

When Nate was out of sight, he opened the system reward.

Out of all the rewards, nate strength was raised and he could also feel it, then his zombie horde slot number, they have increased to thirty.

Although he was kind of disappointed there was no massive level, the skill stuff still caught his attention.

[Light foot= This skill increases the host speed x2 and makes his footsteps to be silent and won't leave any tracks. It can be a privilege for other hordes to use.]

'Yeah, if something like Peter was to have this skill, his figure will turn into nothing. Sparks of lightning might even be pulling out of his body,' Nate thought as he think of how fast Peter will become if he was to have the light foot skill with him. Not like Nate wouldn't privilege the skill to Peter if necessary but he just hates the fact that Peter has something that was far greater than his and that was speed.

'That's all then,' nate thought and started heading back to the others, he need something from Zuni. On reaching, luckily, the others were still sleeping with Zuni already starting up a campfire.

"I need something from you," Nate said to Zuni. Zuni looked at nate wondering what nate want from him that was until Nate placed his hand on the ground and a black portal hole opened as zombies walked out from the portal, seven zombies to be precise.

Zuni already understands what nate meant and cut off one of his arms as he does this, another was growing but he kept cutting it off till the seven zombies were full and nate placed it back into the zombie space.

Not long, Nate decided to wake Sin up and thankfully, the behaviour of the former settled. Not long, Cab and Max also wake up to see nate already back.

"When did you return?" Cab asked in surprise.

"It hasn't been long though," Nate answered while his gaze never left Sin. Sin knows about this but decided to ignore Nate after what seems to be an hour of silence with Nate still looking at him Sin couldn't take it anymore.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Sin asked annoyingly and stood up.

'Nothing much, I know you must be looking for answers about what you are, you are not a human being and you don't have to shy around because I discovered your secret,' Nate used the telecommunication skill to speak to Sin.

Sin sighed before calming down. "What is our next move, if I'm right we should be looking for our way back to Panama City where you will have to rebuild my base," Sin said to Nate.

"Our means back is not a problem, let's get back to the tree house first," Nate said before standing up and starting to walk out of the cave.

'I'm honestly glad that I can now focus on how to get rid of the matrix and for that to happen, I have to return to others.'

'I wonder how they are doing right now?' Nate thought.

By this time it was already morning and it was usually the time Nate gets a particular notification he has gotten used to ever arriving in the forever winter land.
