For the first time, Nate's heartbeat, although this was for a slight moment, didn't go unnoticed by nate however, he was preoccupied with the moment worry of that and besides, the gauntlet skill he just activate has started acting.

Nate felt a large amount of force gathering in his stomach and he thought he might vomit because of his. His mouth was already opened and he thought as the red sword reaches out to him.

However, suddenly, both from nates mouth and nose, vapour force could be seen leaving his nostril and mouth as they clash with the sword.

The swords instantly disappeared into nothing and the force continued forward. The man has seen this and quickly summoned a red barrier around him and at the same time formed a shield on his hand holding it up steady.

When the vapour clashed with the red barriers, they disappeared into nothing and clashed with the man.

'That force was able to break through my blood barrier, how is that possible? I have to do something other than holding this shield, it will surely destroy it like the other,' the man thought as his mind started running fast on what to do.

Soon, his body lit up in red light as the vapour eventually collided with him.

Boom!!!

A vast shock wave was sent out and spread out in a circular motion. Nate guarded himself with the ice shield. Meanwhile, all the ice spikes both in the corner and on top of the cave wall were shattered into pieces leaving few to keel illuminating the cave.

The red man was nowhere to be found and nate assumed that the man must be dead from vapour breath.

'This thing is way more deadly than I thought,' Nate thought looking at the TNT gauntlet.

"Now I'm wondering what you guys might have done on that stuff to make it this strong," Nate heard the voice of the man coming out from the hole he was sent flying previously.

It was of course the man, Nate was wrong when he thought the man was dead, but it turned out that wasn't the case. Although Nate could see some visible marks on the man's abs body, he was still witnessing all of them healing in front of him.

"That weapon does not have such power before and was not that strong," the man said and was forming a new red sword.

"I told you, I'm not who you think I am, I'm not working for the matrix as you think, I have my catel," Nate said. Although it turned out that the mysterious man before him can heal, Nate wasn't afraid in the end. He wasn't sure if he could defeat the man, but one thing he was sure about is that he can sustain himself from the man's attack.

"You said that the matrix did not send you, do you think I can trust anyone at this moment after what the matrix did to me, if you say the matrix did not send you, then prove it," as the man was getting ready to attack, an idea or to say a realization has just downed on Nate.

"Are you Sin?" Nate asked. The reason for Nate to ask this question is because of what the man before him just said. The man knows of the matrix and somehow was bearing a grudge against them.

Nate knows the matrix hasn't gone out so far annoying people other than him, but, they are another person they have angered and that is Sin. Not only that, Sin has been said by the others who climbed to the cliff cave and since then never returned.

With all this added up, Nate seems to have concluded that the person before him was Sin.

"You know my name, so much for you to convince me the matrix didn't send you," The man said and attacked.

Hearing this has confirmed nates anticipation, but that by no means solves the problem. From what he had, Sin was a very strong man, and he could still remember Leo saying that Sin was not a human. 'Is that the reason for the half-blood notification,' nate wondered.

Too bad he was not allowed to think since the swords were reaching him. Nate did not have the time to also use the vapour breath skill so he decided to do something else.

'If I'm going to fight him then I need to use my all,' With that thought in mind Nate started to run. His agility was high therefore he somehow managed to outrun the swords but there was someone that can keep up with him.

Sin suddenly appeared him front of him and swung the sword he made out from his power. Nate blocked it with the shield and at the same time, altered it back into a sword and thrust it forward.

Sin, leapt back creating distance between the two and sending more swords at Nate as they took formation from all angles. "You are surrounded," Sin said.

"I don't think so," Nate replied. Sin commanded the swords to attack while he was waiting for Nate to move so he could follow.

[Soul weapon activated]

With his soul weapon, Nate was able to take on the swords by knocking them out. Sin noticing how Nate was blocking the swords decided to act himself.

He rushed towards nate at an incredible speed. He swung his sword at nate just as another was keeping him busy but just inches to touch Nate, it was blocked. Although Nate didn't notice Sin's arrival, the soul weapon skill did and alerted him.

Nate blocked Sin's direct sword strike and allowed the rest to stab him. As long they stay away from his head, Nate wasn't bothered much.

"It seems like you are quite a skill in close combat," Sin said.

"Let's stop this now," Nate said gnashing his teeth. Sin's sword was still pressing onto his ice shield and he was losing in teams of strength.

"No" Sin replied Nate and raised the sword to swing it down again but Nate rolled out knowing full well that he would be sent to the ground.

[Claw drain]

His gauntlet suddenly become sharp at their finger edges and he swung it at Sin's leg. Sin felt an incredible pain from this and grunted in pain.

'I have an idea on how to finish this real quick,' Nate thought and returned the ice shield to its axe form, he swung it at Sin's chest.

Nate retreated and called the axe back before sending it out at Sin again.

At first, Sin was able to block the few first swings but at some point, one of the swings touched him creating more opportunities for more to hit him. When Nate was sure that Sin's speed has reduced drastically. He started to run towards him.

"I gave you a chance to for peace, I tried talking things out with you but you refused. I just hope the others will understand if you don't survive this," when Nate has just finished his speech, he has come closer to Sin at the same time it seems like Sin was getting hold of his movements again but nate turned the axe into a chain and swung it at Sin.

The chain wrapped around him keeping him in place, though it will not last because Sin was already fighting to break free, it also gave Nate so much time to do what he want.

[Vortex punch]

Nate's body leapt into the air and touched the top of the cave, his body now started spinning around like a vortex as he descend. His fist was out as he spins.

[Punch blast]

At the nick of time before crashing into Sin, he activated the gauntlet skill and now call the ice chains back freeing Sin at that moment.

Meanwhile, Sin himself also seems to notice the danger ahead and his blood glowed red before nate clashed with him.

Boom!!!

This time, the explosion was greater than before and it almost seems like the cave was about to cave in as some parts of it started to fall.

Regardless, Nate was more focused on the notification he just got.
