Hearing what Purple said, Mia and Red did not need any further explanation to understand who Purple was referring to. An urgent meeting was called that instant and not long, all the members of the matrix were present in the dark room.

After this, though Mia already know who Purple was referring to, they still gave him the chance to speak and after explaining what he did and who he saw they dived into the matter that instant.

After a long time of thinking, and sharing each other thoughts, the five matrix have reached a conclusion, which is going after Nate, unlike before, they just sent people out, this time, they are launching a full-scale attack on Nate, however, the problem is that they are not ready yet, there are still many things that they are lacking and one of them is coordination.

Though the matrix now dwells in two bases, the problem here is that for them to take on Nate, they need the power of the two bases combined, but that was impossible base on the state and conditions of the two bases.

Though one of the bases was now totally in their hands, the same couldn't be said for the other. After some calculations, Mia estimated that if Sin's base was to clash with theirs, it will be a battle of one side and the winner have been decided already.

Not that Chris did not have enough supplies, in fact, in terms of supply, Chris's base is rich, however, no matter how rich you are, someone out there is still richer. Chris's base resources and supplies are not to be compared to that of Sin's base, the difference was clear.

After this estimation, it has been concluded by the five matrices that, they will help Kai in taking over his base before settling the plan of hunting down Nate in motion.

This was not the reason why Kai was surprised, instead, it was because of the time of the attack. The battalions that were spotted approaching their base hastily were that from Mia's base.

The problem here is that they had approached right before D-Day and Kai wasn't prepared yet.

'What are you doing Mia,' Kai thought in panic, the worst thing about this moment is that he had to play calm because Sin himself was in the meeting room and if he was to show any sign that he recognised the people coming, then it might be his first death on the doorstep.

"This.." He wanted to say something but his voice betrayed him, for the first time, he wished that Mia was the one in the meeting instead of him.

When thinking about this, something popped into Kai's mind. 'Of course, he can be the one,' Kai that instant entered the dark room in the middle of the meeting. It was a huge risk he took there because he was still in the meeting and at some points, he might be questioned by Sin or any of the other five men inside the meeting room. However, he believes that what he was about to do will be fast.

Soon, Kai was inside the dark room and just as he expected, the others were inside. They were looking at what was displaying in his interface.

"Really?"

"Why would you do that, I'm not yet prepared, I still don't have much under me," Kai said.

"I thought you have been making some progress on the other end, why are they only five people under you," Red asked in a mocking tone, though, he doesn't have control over Kai's subordinates, he still can tell how many there are and Kai can also do the same to him.

Ignoring Red mocks, Kai went ahead and stand in front of the hologram screen displaying not just only his point of view, but that of the battalions that were approaching his base.

"We agreed on one thing, of all people should not be the one acting recklessly, how can you out rightly invade my base, knowing fully well about their strength, that Sin of a guy alone can do things I can't imagine! Kai was almost shouting at Mia.

There was a few seconds of silence before Mia decide to reply to Kai. "And what have you been doing, you should have at least by now possess half of the base or even more, what have you been doing, other than sleep around with the ladies, what else?!" Mia shouted back at Kai.

Kai know that Mia was right, he has been wasting time with pleasure than focusing on his task. He was tasked to dominate half of the base secretly before the invading day, yet all he managed to do was to possess five people in the base, of course, Rone has been instructed by him to make more rings out of the space stones they have and Kai has a handful of rings made with his blood yet only five has been used out from them.

"None of you guys will understand, those people are too afraid of Sin that even when given the rings, they reject it and think it is something that only Sin has to wear," Kai said though slowly walking back to his sit.

After hitting he was able to also look at the battalions." That even explains why you are attacking, do you think because it is raining, then we can win the fight?" Kai asked.

His question made Mia giggle a little before facing him.

"This is why I said you a lacking behind, l why don't you think it this way, "

"Do you think this rain is normal? Currently, at this moment, Panama is a city that has the land mass of two states combined and currently around the city is covered in rain, and to top it off the most, it has been three days after the rain started and yet no sign shows that it will be stopping anytime soon," it was after Mia said this himself that it downed on Kai.

Of course, he noticed this, the rain had been falling for a straight three days with no sign of stopping, Kai noticed this but did not give it much thought, after all, things like this though doesn't happen often, but at some point it does, so it was something he thought much about.

However, Mia does not have the same mentality of not taking things seriously. He takes any glitch, or something unusual seriously, even the cause of the apocalypse had once crossed his mind but he declined the thoughts, all he care about is completing the skull head quest and getting the key to go back to his real world.

"That is not the only thing about this rain, just the first day alone, most of the people that were whipped by the rain started to develop some supernatural strength, though they could be considered still under evolution, I'm sure that Sin is not aware of such things," Mia explained.

It was now making more sense to Kai why the battalions were left to use their leg, it was so that they could be beaten by the rain and stand a chance to become a superhuman. "But how did you guys know it was the rain?" Kai asked.

"All thanks to Green, he had contributed a lot, with this, they are a great chance that after this, our base will be filled up with superhumans,"

Soon after, Kai also told Mia about the condition he is in.

"This will be the last helping hand like this from us, you have to learn how to fend for yourself," after Mia said this, his consciousness disappeared into Kai's body.
