In a way, there was some sort of similarity between Lyon and Lye the colonizer power. And that one similarity was that the two's power was raised based on how many beasts they have come across.

Not like the colonizer has the capability of copying the beast's DNA and using it on himself, rather, he merge his body with the beast forming a stronger body and also having the sheer power of the beast.

This has been what the Matrix has been trying to do ever since they discovered the colonizer zombie.

They have been going around, city by city, capturing zombies at first, but later on changed into beasts. It was a good thing for them that beast from the other world was coming through. Because of this, the colonizer has been acquiring more beasts into his horde. The most favourable part for them was that all the beasts from the other side were just stronger than the ones Earth has to offer for the main time.

As for the matrix captive that was sent out, they mainly were just a distraction to buy a little bit of time for them to conclude their plans.

The problem is that the moment it takes to form a hive mind with a beast was a lot slowly than that of zombies and the colonizer would always have to consume energy from another source to fasten the process.

Eventually, the zombie was ready and had already come out to act.

Unfortunately, he was greeted with a power strike from Sin.

The blast struck the arm of the gigantic figure, causing it to fall off. Meanwhile, almost immediately, without any blood visible, the arm started to grow back.

Meanwhile, the ones that fall off disperse into beasts and zombies. Rather than running off, the beast and zombies ran back to the gigantic figure and merged back into his body.

Meanwhile, Lye has swung a fist at Sin, but the latter has already moved out of the way and fired off another blast at the zombie's limb cages.

However, the same thing from before repeated itself. The healing speed of the colonizer in his gigantic form was just too mind-blowing. It will even put Nate to shame.

In the end, Sin was forced to change his tactic. Soon enough, another opportunity came fast the colonizer missed another attack.

This time, Sin targeted the zombie's head. However, the colonizer raised to block. Even at that the blast went through its hand and hit his head before it exploded.

Sin was expecting the figure to collapse and for it to be the end. How unfortunate was he? Soon, from the dispersed beast, they all started to reattach themselves to the colonizers and soon another head was generated.

'Maybe that is not where the zombie is, but I have already tried his chest and he is not there either,' Sin thought.

The colonizer has swung his fist down like a hammer. But Sin summon his power and formed a red barrier before him.

A loud bang was heard before Sin fired another blast at the colonizer's jaw. The zombie took a step back and then swung his hand from below.

Sin formed and blade with his power and swung it at the incoming hand.

'If I can't locate where you are hiding in that body, then I will have to destroy every single piece of your body till you have none of them anymore to heal with,' Sin thought.

Another explosion went off at the beast limb cage allowing more beasts and zombies to fall off.

However, before the beasts could go and reattach themselves, Sin attacked them instead. With one swing of a blood wipe he created, the zombie's head was sliced off their bodies as they fall. The same was done to the beast.

Just then though, black fog started to leave the colonizer's body. It went and engulfed the bodies of the zombies before carrying them back to the colonizers.

"Don't tell me you can still make use of them while they are dead?" Sin said shocked.

Meanwhile, the colonizer suddenly pointed its hands out towards the direction of the beach.

Immediately, the beasts that were yet to attach to his body started running towards them.

Meanwhile, the sudden retreat of all zombies didn't go noticed by the humans fighting along with them. As a matter of fact, it was announced generally that everyone got the message but no one has voiced out any complaints.

So far, they have been doing well in fending against the matrix. Blake and his team were doing fine. Not only was he able to turn a small rock into a boulder, he was able to throw them as if they were still small rocks in his hand.

Of course, this has something to do with his ability. He can enlarge and elongate matters and also some parts of himself.

Meanwhile, Rua was also able to catapult most of the boulder with his body and has a sharp reflex to quickly attack an opponent.

The last of his team was Silhouette. He could turn his body into a dark silhouette even in day time so that people couldn't see his face.

His ability grants him the attributes of an assassin. Agile, light-footed and also sneak attacks. This was his fight attributes and one thing that made him dangerous.

He was also good at using his two katana blades in a fight.

Aside from the group, there was also Tigger who was leading the group of halflings, or we can say used to be halflings.

He was the one that mostly was bothered by Zee's absence. The two together have always made a combo and for some reason, they have to retreat from the battlefield and support from behind.

Just then, everyone that was fighting felt a surge of energy rushing into their bodies energizing them and also giving them more energy to work.

Of course, this feeling was not known to most as they have felt it before.

Looking up, they could see Lynn hovering in the sky with a pair of dark wings flapping against each other. Her attention was focused on the front.

Seeing this, Tigger knew that whatever she was looking at was the reason she have decided to act.

Not long though, the ground started to rumble.

"Everyone get ready... A beast horde along with zombies is coming! Lynn shouted and alerted the other.

Soon enough, the rumble grow till the first beast came to view. It immediately pounds on one other the altered humans and started to devour the man.

It was so sudden and the beast was unusually strong, to begin with. Just then, a long staff hit the beast as it continued to carry it along with it. This action came from none of them than Blake.

The stick on his hand he has used in pushing the beast of the man's body soon started to get bigger till it was the size of a tree.

He swung the stick at the beast, however, the beast bit down at it holding it in place with its jaw. Unfortunately, Blake was already with a stone and he used his power before hurling it at the beast smashing it into its face.

Meanwhile, the altered man that was nearly devoured by the beast by now has already been healed by Lynn and was ready for a fight.

Soon, Zombies and beasts started to rush through the trees and attack them.

Meanwhile, Back to the ship that was ducked at, something strange started to happen and only Leo have noticed this.
