Honestly I'm sick of these types of novels, 1000 chapters of drama with little to show. In the real world, people have *** within the first 6 months of dating, but in these novels the relationship is generally ***less for the first 1000 chapters or so with some light teasing. Not to mention the odd addiction to car wrecks that this author has. Why is it always car accidents, I don't understand. The premise and the way the story started was amazing, as it is with most of these types of novels, but it falls flat after the first 2-300 chapters. Not to mention the insane amount of spirit stones you have to use just to complete the novel, holy **** it's like $300 or a couple years of daily grinding just to complete one of these novels.

Idk about others but i feel like Huo Mian is a big hypocrite like wtf is with "if she didnt met Qin Chu thn she might have fallen 4 Su Yu " n y is there so many Su Yu sences?? Its feelz like Qin Chu name was mentioned less thn Su Yu. Plus d author made HM literally a hypocrite like she doesn't like or do dis n dat but she still did it; the author's words always CONTRAIES WITH HER ACTIONS. I dont get y tf she doesn't accept giftz just bcuz itz expensive like dude ur frnd bought u a gift but u r being so rude to him/her by not acceptin it The translators writing quality n stability is great--5/5 But the story itself is........---1/5 It was good at start but later it just felt like a novel full of hypocritiness
An exciting read, so romantic and full of love. Both the protagonists have great qualities that a reader wants to emulate and be like them, a fantasy escape from the real world. There is a very basic love, understanding and respect between the two main protagonists. Sometimes it's so perfect unlike the real world who is filled with pain, squabbles and hardships encountered by common couples. These also makes a good read for the readers as an ideal place, relationship and pure happiness and strong bond between the couple that makes the reader long fir their own happy relationship in the real world.
I loved this book and the character arcs of this story were amazing. The author was building backgrounds, creating suspense and drama. However, for some reason she took a time leap and then the story and the author lost its plot. NOTHING made sense. The love story between the main characters lost its charm after the three year leap. The second male lead which had been created so beatifully, became like a pitiful creature with no real role to play. I actually liked Su YU more than Qin Chu because of he was characterized, how we devoted himself to hip mians's welfare. The author zeroed all that to bring the main focus of her book on the two kids that huo mian had with Qin Chu. They are supposed to be three year old twins with extraordinary intelligence, or so the author wants you to believe. Either the author has never had children or never met them. I love Chinese tales because they value tradition and respect for elders. These two kids are neither. They are rude, badly behaved and constantly are in the middle of ***** conversations - interfering in things NO CHILD can ever understand. After the three year gap, this story from an amazing love story became a story of "the tall tale of twins" and is now a story not worth reading. However, till the three year leap, please read the book. the love story between Qin Chu and huo Mian, the emotional maturity of Su Yu and the depth in all the characters even the villain - Huo Siqian, is truly amazing.
I’ve got some very mixed feelings about all these characters and this story so far. The ML is sort of domineering, but at the same time not and the FL is sort of cool and smart, but at the same time is really irritating. On top of that, I feel like the summary given for this work isn’t completely accurate. That being said, the story is definitely interesting in its own way, so worth at least trying out.
Ok so here is my view of this story so far....... It is AMAZING I mean I came into this story apprehensive bc it's not really what I'd thought that i would like but then I read it and my god it has really surprised me and quickly becam my number 1 story on my list of reads! It's got comedy. its got romance, its got one badass male lead that will do anything for the girl he loves. plus the female lead is quite amazing herself and not just some pretty vase!!! So if you have not read this story then please give it a shot just read 15 chapters and you ever stop or regret that you did!!!
