2 Well That's Embarrassing

As Ashton made his way to the Star Lounge he reviewed some of the latest information he had been gathering on the Burning Roses idol group. So far they only had 4 members which in Ashton's mind was more than enough to get somewhere with a group. The members consisted of Miko who was the lead singer and leader of the group, Mai who is the main rapper of the group, Suko who backed up both Miko and Mai with sub vocals and raps, and finally, Nanako who was the main dancer of the group while also filling in where she was needed in other areas.

Overall, the group had the bare minimum amount of members to pull it all off but at the same time, Ashton felt that for this group it was the perfect number. If you had too many stars up there at once then you wouldn't know where to look but with each member specializing in different areas and there only being four of them you can truly appreciate each of their aspects.

While Ashton was nerding out within the confines of his mind he finally arrived at the Star Lounge where there was already a line running out of the entrance and into the nearby streets. The location of this place was sketchy in some aspects since the entrance was in the middle of a slightly large alley that connected to major city streets. Instead of going up into a building or toward a stage somewhere, the entrance went underground where it opened up into an enormous room that housed thousands of people and a stage right in the center of it all.

It was truly a sight to behold and something that Ashton was excited to see once more but the problem ahead was the line leading into the building which would easily take a few hours to even get inside. The reason it was already this long wasn't due to Burning Roses in particular but the many other idol groups that were trying to make a name for themselves that day.

Lucky enough for Ashton when he arrived one of the guards at the front caught sight of him and quickly waved him over much to the surprise of Ashton. He had seen this guard many times before but had never spoken to him in the multiple times Ashton had been to the lounge.

As Ashton walked past all of the people waiting in line to talk to the guard many people shot him a dirty look and some even cursed at him under their breath which made Ashton feel awkward up until he was standing before the big muscly security guard wondering what he did to get his attention, "Was this you?" The guard asked as he towered over Ashton with his easily 6-and-a-half-foot frame and ripped body.

Ashton became scared of the man since after he asked the question the guard put his hand behind his back as if reaching for something but instead of a weapon he pulled out his phone and showed Ashton the screen which held an even bigger surprise. On the screen was a website that was known for housing the blogs of many journalists in the Idol scene from articles on drama to the tour dates for some of the groups.

However, the article and journalist in particular that was pulled up happened to be Ashton's most recent article on Burning Roses. The shock was evident on Ashton's face when he saw the article which made the guard smirk, "So I guess it was you after all. Me and some of the other guards really liked this group and couldn't find anything on it except for this article and video that you took. You're the only way we were able to watch the concert since we were working at the time. Now normally you'd get in trouble for filming some of the shows here without express permission but we decided to give you this so you can keep it up." The guard continued as Ashton was still dumbstruck at the guard finding out who he was.

As Ashton still couldn't comprehend what was happening the guard pulled a pass out from his pocket that had his picture on it and a little "VIP Journalist" on top of the pass before handing it to Ashton, "With this you can enter without waiting in line and keep filming without any troubles for us. The guard said with a smile while one of the other guards still working the front door gave him a thumbs up.

"Wait how did you figure out who I am?" Ashton asked in confusion still not understanding how they not only got this school ID picture of him but also found him in the first place.

"Well, we would have never found out who you were if not for the fact you accidentally turned your camera around a bunch of times toward your face during the concert. Also please stop doing that and moving around so much when you film it's hard to see what's happening." The guard laughed as he embarrassed Ashton once again.

The footage he had gotten from the concert was obviously not the entire show but bits and pieces of each song for a compilation sort of deal to put at the end of his article to highlight the idols as best as he could but in his hurriedness to upload the article he didn't check if he needed to do any editing of the video, it was a huge mistake on his part but also seemed to have an upside with this pass. It reminded him of a certain Yandere author who forgot to double-check his spelling in his entire first novel, that dirty bastard.

"W-well thank you. I will try my best from now on and fix that video from before!" Ashton shouted with newfound confidence while the guards cheered him on and quickly ushered him inside the venue for another day of journaling his favorite idol group.
