24 Curing palladium poisoning earlier than the original work

"Wow, what's with your looks, Tony? Miss Pepper dumped you?"

"Nonsense. We're not even officially together yet..."

Tony with a crumpled face and dark circles in his eyes replied as he opened the wine bottle and poured it into Lynn's glass.

Lynn who was sitting in front of Tony took the glass, looked at the wine in the glass with concern and said: "So Miss Pepper is single? Then..."

"Don't even try. If you want a beautiful girl, I can order a lot of beautiful artists or models to play with you." Tony said while glaring at him with a warning look.

He wasn't really angry, it was just that he forbade him to have any ideas about his little secretary.

Lynn smiled and shrugged. "No need, I don't like wild girls who can be had for money."

"Oh?" Tony, who had just taken a sip of wine, raised his eyebrows with an interested expression. "Right, I almost forgot about the beautiful red-haired mutant who was with you that time."

"With that kind of beauty. No wonder you're not interested in... Wait, I've also seen you with a beautiful blonde girl in Queens."

Tony's gaze looked at him like he was looking at himself in the past. Lynn's lips twitched, it seemed like Tony had seen him with Gwen a few days ago.

He didn't care about that just that...

"Tony, haven't you watched the internet recently? Instead of referring to Mutants, I'd rather you refer to Jean or other Mutants as Meta Human."

Hearing this, Tony was a little surprised. It seems that Lynn is not really a playboy and it seems that he really cares about mutants, especially that one named Jean Grey?

He remembered that a week ago Lynn asked for his company's cooperation to popularize his application. And actually by this time he already knew the app was making mutants very popular on the internet these days and that was in a positive way.

Tony suddenly realized something and grinned slightly.

"Meta Human? That sounds cool..."

"But Lynn, is it just me or do you seem to have deliberately created that Tik Tok app to rebrand Mutants... No, Meta Human in this world?"

"You also seem to have deliberately asked for cooperation with Stark Industries to protect your app from government interference."

Lynn smiled and nodded, he was not afraid to admit his motives to Tony, even about him using the other party's status as a shield for his app.

"You are right, as expected of genius Tony Stark. After knowing that, do you want to stop our cooperation for fear of offending the government? I don't mind if you do. I still have other ways after all."

Tony shook his head and said: "No need. Isn't it just the government? Do you think I, Tony Stark will be afraid? In the end it's still a pretty profitable business and I'm actually interested in your idea of changing the status of Meta Humans in this world."

"Besides, I just need to keep my goods untouched by the government, right? That's easy."

It was honestly not the first time he had kept his goods from being touched or confiscated by that greedy government. In the past those people wanted his Arc Reactor and Armor manufacturing methods which he refused, even if the government or military offered him something in return.

Lynn was not surprised to hear that Tony would not cancel his cooperation with him after knowing the consequences. He drank his wine and sighed.

Since Tony didn't mind helping him, he also didn't mind helping him with his problems.

Previously he had only planned to tell Tony a few hints, but for the sake of friendship he didn't mind telling him clearly.

Looking at Lynn who was staring at him without blinking, Tony was confused and joked. "What's with that look? Touched that I still want to help you? Hey~ You can just say thank you to me. I, Tony Stark, am a man who is generous to his own people."

Honestly, if it's him who was. Tony wouldn't even be this kind. It's just that after he found out his life was shortened after the palladium poisoning. He felt the need to do more good in his life, even recently donating to orphanages in the United States and other countries.

Considering his condition again, Tony felt depressed, but he still smiled sarcastically on the surface and looked at Lynn jokingly.

Lynn, who peeked a little at Tony's thoughts out of curiosity, smiled wryly.

Protagonist was tortured by plot and had to wait for a set time before he could cure his illness.

That's in the original work of course.

Here, Tony in this universe is lucky to meet a time traveler like himself.

If it was another time traveler, Lynn had no idea and only knew many of them were cowards in some fanfics he had read in his previous life. But him? He didn't mind messing up the plot just because of his impulse and selfishness.

"Tony, your health seems to be poor. Have you taken your medicine?"

"I'm quite happy that you care about my health, but hey it's kind of creepy that you're a man. Please stop." Tony pushed his seat back a little to be further away from him.

Lynn's lips twitched and said: "Tony, I'm serious. Besides, you invited me to drink too because it has something to do with your health, right?"

Hearing this, Tony, who was joking, was stunned for a moment and sighed. With a sardonic smile, he said: "Yes, you're right. My health is poor at the moment. As for medicine? I haven't found a suitable one yet."

Tony didn't say it clearly, but it was natural because he couldn't just tell the details of his illness, especially to Lynn whom he hadn't trusted that much to tell his secret.

Helping each other and working together was fine, but sharing secrets? Tony felt Lynn wasn't enough for that.

Lynn knew Tony still didn't trust him very much and he felt it was natural.

Looks like he needs to stop pretending and get to the point.

"Sigh... Tony, I'll be honest. I know you're palladium poisoning and have very little time to live."

Hearing what Lynn said casually, Tony was shocked and he immediately gave Lynn a sharp look.

He was naturally wary of people knowing about his illness, especially when he never told anyone else about it.

To be honest the only ones who knew the details of his illness so far were himself and JARVIS.

So it should be impossible for anyone else to know this.

"How do you know?" Asked Tony with a suspicious look.

Lynn smiled slightly and said: "Hey there's no need to be so wary. Tony, have you forgotten that there are people with supernatural abilities in this world? For example, like Meta Human."

"Lynn, you... Are you a Meta Human? You found out about my illness from your super abilities?"

Tony's gaze got better, and he seemed calmer. Now he was just looking at Lynn curiously.

It seemed that the man in front of him was not as simple as he thought and he was somewhat mysterious.

Lynn shook his head and said: "I'm not a Meta Human, but yes, you can say I know your illness because of my superpower."

Actually it was because he knew the plot, but he didn't plan to tell Tony about the existence of the plot.

"Not Meta Human, but have superpowers?" Tony raised his eyebrows, actually he suspected that Lynn had been kidnapped and used as an experimental subject by some scientists to obtain superpowers.

For example, like Captain America, before his father died, he knew from his father that Steve Roger once volunteered in the Super Soldier project and used his own body for scientists' experiments.

If Tony had never told JARVIS to check Lynn's information before, and knew Lynn was just a rich second generation enjoying his life. He was absolutely sure that Lynn had been the subject of human experiments.

But it seems not because from the information, Lynn was never kidnapped, and after his parents died, he never even left his house for too long.

Maybe Lynn got his superpowers from an accident or a genetic mutation?

Tony wasn't convinced, he even doubted if Lynn was deceiving him that he had superpowers?

Seeing Tony's doubt that he had superpowers, Lynn raised one finger, making purple lightning flow to the tip of his finger and creating a mini ball of lightning.

"This is one of my abilities. Now you have to believe that I have superpowers."

Tony nodded with a surprised look. "Damn, you can generate lightning from your body and you say that's just one of your abilities? What are the other abilities?"

Lynn dispelled the lightning on his fingertips and said with a smirk on his face. "Leave aside about my super ability. Tony, do you want to know the medicine that can cure your palladium poisoning?"

Tony honestly felt that the purple lightning that Lynn had previously displayed looked familiar. But when he heard about the medicine that could cure his illness, his pupils shrank and he looked at Lynn with a serious gaze.

"Lynn, the truth is that I know that to cure my palladium poisoning, I need a new energy without side effects that can replace the palladium energy in my Arc Reactor."

Tony pointed to his chest and tapped it, there was a blue light there which was covered by his clothes.

"The problem is that I'm having trouble finding a better type of new energy to replace the palladium energy."

"I don't know what medicine you're talking about, but if it's not a new type of energy. I'm not sure it can heal me."

It was obvious that Tony was skeptical, especially since the problem lay with science. Could supernatural powers do anything to solve the problem of the new type of energy his Arc Reactor needed?

Lynn gave Tony a strange look. "Tony, you seem to have misunderstood. You must have thought I would heal you with supernatural abilities or something."

"Huh? If not that then what? Don't tell me you know the kind of new energy I need..."

Lynn nodded.

Tony was surprised. He looked at Lynn with an expectant look and said: "Are you serious? Tell me and tell me what you want instead?"

Lynn smiled and waved his hand. "Think of it as my reply since you don't mind blocking the government for my app. Besides, aren't we friends?"

Tony was speechless. This was honestly the first time he had heard something like this from a friend. Unlike plastic friends, Lynn might actually be his friend.

He felt his nose was a bit sore now.

Damn, he definitely won't be moved to tears, okay?

"Mr. Iron Man, your eyes are red." Lynn grinned.

"Dust, it must be the dust. It's been three days since this room was last cleaned." Tony pretended, he was obviously pretending, even taking out the air freshener spray that was under the table to spray his surroundings.

After he finished spraying and seemed to have calmed down he heard such beautiful words like "Aren't we friends?".

He smiled wryly and said: "So Lynn, what medicine are you saying will cure my illness?"

Lynn did not answer immediately, he got up from his chair and walked to the miniature holographic city in the room.

A curious Tony followed from the other side and saw the miniature city that his father had actually designed in the past. He had seen it many times and couldn't understand why Lynn was paying attention to it as if it was hinting at something.

"Tony, the truth is that the medicine you're looking for has always been with you and it's related to your father's legacy." Lynn said as his gaze fell on the blue light depicted on the hologram which seemed to be the energy that could power the entire city.

Even the name of the city in the hologram was Future City.

After Lynn said that. Tony widened his eyes, he stared at the hologram of the city that he had seen hundreds or maybe millions of times.

Then turned to Lynn again and said: "Wait, you mean the kind of new energy I need is what my father wanted to create in the past?"

"No, Tony. Actually, your father had even finished creating a way to make new energy that was better than palladium energy before he died. It's just that he hadn't publicized it back then and only a few people knew about it." Lynn said.

"And how did you find out about it?" Tony asked because he was curious.

Lynn didn't answer and smiled mysteriously.

Tony rolled his eyes, he certainly wasn't going to force Lynn to answer. If what Lynn said was true, he would be very grateful to him.

If it wasn't for Lynn, he might be too late or might never know that his father left such a thing before he died. Actually, if he had cared more about his father's legacy, he might have known about the new type of energy that his father had created long ago.

It was just that because of his pride and complicated emotions towards his father, he had been indifferent to his father's legacy.

But now it was different, as it was related to his survival.

Now he had to go to his father's warehouse and rummage through the research files there.

"It looks like you'll be busy, so I'll be back now."

Lynn didn't want to stay any longer after completing his purpose for coming here.

Tony who saw Lynn already walking to the door smiled sincerely and said: "Thanks Lynn! After I'm done with my troubles, I'll play at your house to celebrate."

"No, you don't have to."

"I will!"

Lynn who came out of Tony's office sighed.

He was actually reluctant to receive male guests in his home.

But whatever, he hurriedly left Tony's company because he had actually received a text message from Gwen saying she wanted to meet him.

Instead of playing with boys, wouldn't it be more fun to play with pretty girls?

"Sure Gwen, I'll be there soon." After sending a reply text message to Gwen.

He immediately drove his car to go to Queens.

By the way he remembered Gwen had gotten her superpower now and she must be confused.

It seemed like she couldn't bear to keep her secret alone and needed someone to guide her.

That's why Gwen wanted to meet him.

As a man, how could Lynn not take advantage of this opportunity?

...

Meanwhile.

In a secret laboratory belonging to the United States military.

A man in a military uniform stared at his subordinate who was tied up in an iron tube with green liquid almost covering his head.

His name was Thaddeus E. Ross, having earned the nickname Thunderbolt during his career so far as a General of the United States Army.

His subordinate, who was strapped inside the tube was named Emil Blonsky and he was obeying his orders to become the second experimental subject in a project called the Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project.

The first experiment was actually successful and it was scientist Bruce Banner who escaped after gaining the powers of the Green Titan. In the end it ended in failure and in order to capture Bruce Banner, Ross had the idea to turn his own subordinates into Green Titan that were no less powerful than Bruce Banner's Green Titan and use his powers to capture the former.

"Emil, just to make sure. Are you ready?" Ross asked his subordinate inside the tube. His voice was heard through the sound device inside the tube.

Emil whose entire body was almost submerged in the green liquid smiled confidently and said: "General, I'm ready. With my physical fitness, I believe I can transform into a Green Titan stronger than Bruce Banner."

Hearing Emil's confidence, Ross nodded with a serious expression. "Good. I hope you don't go crazy and can continue to maintain your consciousness after becoming a Green Titan."

"Don't worry General, I will definitely and keep in mind that my mission after becoming the Green Titan is to capture Bruce Banner." Emil said with a sly glint in his eyes.

Ross did not notice Emil's sly gaze, but he felt reassured by what he said.

He turned to the scientists and said clearly.

"Start the process now."

The scientists nervously obeyed General Ross' order and pressed the button to start the transfusion of Bruce Banner's blood gamma-irradiated into Emil's body.

With the addition of the green liquid, the process Emil went through was definitely more than what was done to Bruce Banner and the result would definitely create an even stronger Green Titan!

At least that's what scientists believe and Ross believes this too.

Looking at Emil who was screaming in pain with his skin gradually turning green. Ross clenched his fists as he was actually very nervous at the moment.

'I hope this works and no problems occur. If not, my position as General will be in danger!'

'Emil, you have to succeed!'

Ross shouted in his mind, not knowing that he had indeed succeeded.

A Green Titan stronger than Bruce Banner's Green Titan would indeed be born soon.

He just didn't know what bad things would happen to him when that happened.

Author Note

Hey all. I'm Author Dog. I would really appreciate power stones or other types of support you guys have to motivate me. It could be comments/reviews or something else.

By the way I know the Marvel plot in this book doesn't match up to the original work, even other details like why Iron Man is already like this and why the Hulk plot has reached this and blah blah blah. I already said in the first note about this issue. So please stop complaining about plot incongruities, after all this is a fanfic that basically makes sense if it's made differently from the original work? There are many authors out there who follow the plot of the original work, but Author Dog does not. Sorry.
