Lucian's eyes snapped open, and his dream disintegrated into the recesses of his mind.

He lay on the soft white sheets of the bed, his chest rising and falling with the rhythm of his accelerated breaths. Yue, who snuggled up closely against him, seemed unperturbed by Lucian's abrupt awakening.

The remnants of a dream, like scattered stardust, flickered in Lucian's consciousness. A faint echo of laughter still lingered in his ears, accompanied by a distorted reflection of a woman ruling over desolation at his side, mirrored in his eyes.

"Jess..." Lucian muttered, his mind a chaotic mix of confusion and longing as the fresh fragments of his dream still lingered.

No matter how strange he found it, he could still remember it clearly, almost too clearly. It kind of reminded him of the vision he had of the strange woman in the forest the day before when he received his new powers.

But this vision, or dream, or whatever it was, was different. Here, he was not Lucian, not his past self nor his present self that he knew of. In this vision, he was a man named Minsu Kim, just a boy who had been pushed too far for far too long.

But that is not the part that bothered him. He could care less about the people he watched die and the world destroyed by his hands. No, he only cared for one simple yet extremely important reason: Jessica, his love. His life. She was there, helping, watching, at his side every moment of his cursed existence in that life.

'Why?' Lucian internally questioned. "How...?" he muttered aloud in stupefaction.

His chaotic internal monologue seemed to come to a halt as he felt the bare skin of the small figure of Yue brushing against his, signaling her slow awakening.

'Later,' Lucian decided, pushing the dream back into the recesses of his mind.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Lucian greeted, his gaze locked onto the alluring sight of Yue's freshly awakened appearance. Her golden blond hair was slightly askew across her face as she looked up at Lucian with her blood-red eyes.

A gentle smile formed on Yue's features at Lucian's greeting as she snuggled deeper into Lucian's bare chest.

"Morning," she replied.

Lucian chuckled, wrapping Yue tighter into his embrace, pulling her deeper into his chest.

"Did you sleep well?" Lucian questioned.

Yue nodded in response. "Of course. I was with you," she said, turning her head to look up at Lucian.

"How about you?" she asked, her ruby eyes genuinely curious.

Lucian appeared to ponder for a moment before answering, "Yeah."

Yue seemed pleased with the response as she turned back around, laying her head back on Lucian's chest.

"We are leaving today," Lucian stated, continuing, "I assume you're okay with that?" He asked rhetorically.

Yue turned her whole body around, sitting on Lucian's waist as she faced him again, her expression oddly serious.

"Yes, I'm okay with whatever you decide, Lucian," Yue said, her expression gentle yet carrying an undertone of obsession that caught Lucian by surprise.

Leaning further forward towards Lucian, Yue initiated a deep kiss, her small arms reaching up and wrapping around the back of Lucian's neck as she embraced him.

Their tongues intertwined and their saliva mixed before they broke the kiss. A small string of saliva stretching and landing on Yue's chin as they did so, eliciting an amused smile from Lucian.

Sliding his hands down Yue's smooth, bare waist, Lucian grinned as he spoke. "Well, I guess we have some unfinished business before we venture into this new world, huh?" Lucian lifted Yue by her waist and guided her onto his throbbing shaft.

Yue's hands clenched tightly onto Lucian's shoulders, her nails probably digging into his skin if not for his resilient body, as she let out a shuddering breath.

"Ehh..." Shea let out, shaking in pure fear as she took in the figure of the gigantic red dinosaur figure before her.

"Ahhh!" She screamed in fear as she started running away.

"If she doesn't get here soon, it's going to be too late!" Shae screamed in terror, the loud steps of the giant figure echoing as it chased her.

"Ahh..." Shae let out in fright as she approached a large stone wall, quickly beginning to climb as the creature closed in on her.

"Come on! Hurry and save me before this thing catches me, and I end up as monster food!" She cried out, slightly gaining a lead on the monster as she approached the top of the wall.

Shae let out a gasp, her expression quickly lighting up with hope as she saw a large glowing red magic circle attached to the rocks at the top of the stone wall.

"Here they come!" she exclaimed in joy, only to mutter a puzzled "Huh?" as a giant pink laser of energy shot out from the magic circle near where she stood.

Dust and debris flew everywhere as a result of the energy beam, the cause of the blast becoming evident with the two figures standing in the center of its wake.

One, a man, his appearance seeming to command attention with his long, jet-black hair, a void-like cascade that contrasts sharply with his fair skin. His eyes, a brilliant crimson, seemed to almost suck you in with their depth. Wearing an ensemble of sleek, black attire adorned with intricate silver patterns, he exuded an air of mysterious elegance.

The other, a girl, possessing an ethereal beauty with long, flowing golden blond hair that cascaded gracefully. Her blood-red eyes, like rubies, added a touch of mystery to her pale white skin. Despite her petite figure, she emanated a captivating charm. Adorned in a frilly white dress shirt snugly hugging her form, paired elegantly with a black mini skirt adorned with delicate frills, and short boots gracing her feet, complemented by knee-high black socks, she completed her enchanting ensemble.

"Argh..." Shae grunted as she fell to the hard stone floor due to the blast. The loud footsteps of the monster echoing out as it ran away.

Shae gasped at the sight of the two figures, forming her hands into a heart sign as she attempted to look through the hole for a clearer view.

"You're here!" Shae exclaimed in excitement as she saw Yue, only to mutter, "But... Who are you?" a second later as she noticed the other figure standing next to her.
