Chapter 110 Daily Routine

The smell of lilac and wild berries that are being carried by a strong gust of wind invaded the nose of the three people present in the area. The two red heads and their newly assigned instructor, Falael of the Hallows Guild.

The three chose an open area behind the main mansion of the protector as their training grounds. Aside from the few vines that are creeping in the background, this area is the perfect place for them to train their swordsmanship.

At first Falael was taken a back by how inexperienced both of the red heads at using their sword despite having higher levels than the average adventurers. This fact didn't made Falael lose motivation to teach the two, on the contrary it gave him the more reason to sharpen this two blunt edges.

Since Cleo is using a double edge sword, he was instructed to practice his thrusting techniques which his sword was specifically made for. Leah on the other hand albeit dual wielding she opt to a style that resembles fencing. She uses her lightning step to make a quick thrust with her conjure sword or a quick slash with her curved sword then using her lightning step again to back out.

Leah tailored her fighting style specifically to support and cover Cleo's back. While Cleo is taking the vanguard and using thrusting techniques and his dance like movements. Leah is at the back doing her in and out style or casting sorcery in a reasonable distance.

With Falael's guidance the two of them improve their synergy by a lot compare when they are in a party with Valerie and Anna. The two preferred if both Valerie and Anna took a lesson as well since it'll greatly benefit their party in the future. Alger can make arrangements to have Valerie train as well but as for Anna, the Hallows Guild doesn't have a dedicated Sorcery Instructor to guide her.

"Focus!" A raspy voice shouted at the two red heads whose noticeably being exhausted by each thrust of their sword or by each chant of their spells. "We need to know the limit of your stamina and by only then we can improve it." Falael added.

The two continue with their training until both of them collapse due to exhaustion. Falael carried both of them using the nearby cart around the tree. It looks like he is used to this on how fast he reacted by catching both of them. Its almost a week since they started this intense training to improve the overall technique and limit of the two red heads.

The bright moon that illuminates the entire area wake the two unconscious red heads that passed out due to exhaustion. Falael is nowhere to be seen, though he left some kind of bread that are wrapped with leaves. The two recognize it immediately since he always leave this snack for them.

Cleo grab both of the bread and handed one to Leah. The two hurriedly consume the food to satiate their hunger. Though this is the only type of food they consume this past week, they seem not to be getting tired by the taste.

"Do you think the training is working, Darling?" Leah asked while lying down at Cleo's left arm. The discontent with her voice is apparent, she wants to get strong but at the same time she also want to spend some alone time with her darling.

"There's no harm in trusting him for now and besides we are at the protector's domain and she also seem to trust Master Falael." Cleo answered. The two of them didn't bother standing up since this is the only time they can be alone together. They savior the company of each other while staring at the moonlight.

They spent the entirety of the night with each other. On the following day, their training resumes, they follow the same routine that they are doing in this past few days. Eating the same bread wrapped with leaves at the morning, follow by non stop training in the afternoon until evening where they eat the same food again.

Their routine is pretty straightforward and so its understandable that Leah is getting bored of it however they need to persevere in order for the both of them to master their respective techniques.

Falael watch the two red head do this routine everyday, making a mental note where they can improve and technique they already master. This is his own routine, though not everyday he discuss this with the two red heads.
