10 The Game 2

With a swamp, a lizardman who was wearing simple clothing could be seen, jumping around while using his claws as a weapon, dodging attacks from a Swamp monster that was at level 10. the swamp monster was made out of swamp water, leaving most normal attacks doing less damage compared to the others. even so, the Lizardman quickly lowered the HP of this Swamp Monster, using his high reaction speed to shorten the gap in levels before finally killing the Swamp Monster.

Of course, this handsome lizard man was me. Collecting the loot from the killed Swamp monster, I looked at the nullification bar in front of me.

{Congratulations, You have leveled up. 3 -> 5...} Sigh, I went through the long list of improvements to my stats. fighting those 7 levels above me wasn't easy, but I was doing it. I went on to start using my stats points, increasing my speed and physical attack power for now. it was best I started picking classes since I had put it aside until I reached level 5. I had to pick the right Job classes if I wanted to be a dragon, of course, I couldn't just pick a job class and remove it.

A job class is like a skill you learn, you can't just forget it. To forget it, I would have to die, and start over once more since after death one would lose 5 levels. Of course, this would take up a lot of time. I could just ask Mai for the right job classes to get, but that would be too easy.

The list of job classes I could pick from right now is all basic stuff, after all, I was level five, and I had not met any wild conditions just yet. most of the job classes I could get were all built around a lizardman, simple spell-type casting Job classes, warrior-type Job classes, and the list went on.

Now, I was smart, so I went on to think deeply about it. A dragon was a life form that didn't need a weapon as they were a walking weapon, so with that, I threw away all job classes that used swords, bows, and other such weapons. Job classes that allowed one to ride other lifeforms were also out of the picture, this left spell-type casting job classes, and hand-to-hand type warrior-type job classes.

"I will go for Ki Master: Spiritual for now," I said with a sigh while picking the warrior class, Ki Master: Spiritual. Just as the name suggested, this class seems to involve the mastery of channeling ki. They could use ki to heal just about any form of physical injury. However, although ki can heal physical injuries, it cannot help with poisoning or diseases as well if they do not have the skills for it.

Ki Master: Spiritual had a max of 15 levels, it was the most basic of the Ki Master job classes. this only boosted my mental capability, such as giving me sensory-type skills,

Being a demi-human, I currently had 10 skill points I could use. I split them in half, putting 5 into my Ki Master: Spiritual and the other into my Lizardman racial class. I needed to have it reach level 15 before I could evolve.

Now, with Ki Master: Spiritual at level 6, I went on to first learn new skills. I got those that were most useful for me, such as those that would use up the least amount of MP and those that wouldn't run on a cool down. of course, with me being at level 5, I could only learn a max of 15 things which was more than enough for me.

With a new list of stuff to use, I went on to hunt monsters. As the game was still new, there were not that many players, and I planned to fully take advantage of this by taking a monopoly on anything I could find in the game.

"By the way, Mai, is there any hidden stuff related to In-game purchases?" I asked while I shot toward the monster, and I dodged its attack, while tapping the button, my lizard claws glowed with Ki, and with a claw attack, the monster was hit, losing a huge amount of its hp. but with it being a level 10 monster, it needed 2 more attacks from me until he was destroyed.

"Yes, most of them are useless rewards. but the most useful one is one that has to do with the first person to reach level 100 without any in-game purchases. another useful one has to do with the first person to spend 1,000 dollars." Mai said while sitting on my shoulders, not bothered by my movements.

"Well, it seems like I need money," I said while ignoring the fact I leveled up. I plan to only check it for every 5 levels I reach... so time passed, hours quickly passed and after spending a good amount of time in the swamps, just killing monsters while going deeper and deeper into the swamp, I finally reached level 15.

It was slightly longer since I kept fighting those with a higher level than me, but then again, I wanted to test and refine my reaction speed. Anyway, with me being at level 15, I first went on to max out my Racial class to level 15. since I had 20 skill points. It took a total of 9 skill points to have them reach level 15.

With the Lizardman racial class now at level 15, I could evolve into a new Lizardman. but I ignored this and went on to first max out Ki Master: Spiritual, which unlocked Ki Master: Physical

This new Job class was pretty much an upgraded version of Ki Master: Spiritual. With Ki Master: Physical, my body was stronger, and more capable than before.

But in my Racial Classes, I had to now pick the type of Lizardman I should evolve into. there were many to pick from. Such as Sea Lizardman which was a lizardman that had evolved to live underwater. This racial class would unlock my water-type magic and summoning.

There was a Monk Lizardman, a lizardman which was well... you know, a monk. It had a stronger physical capability.

But the one that caught my attention was the Winged Lizardman. a lizardman that evolved to gain the ability to fly. tell me... did that not sound dragon-like? I of course picked this one, and with it, my form transformed as I grew two large wings behind me.

I also gained a new button that allowed me to fly. Using it, I took off into the air. getting used to flight was interesting, it was like walking, but instead, I was flying. I, of course, couldn't feel the wings on my back, but this was interesting, to say the least.

"... sigh. Mai, I'm I on the right track? I don't want to waste time leveling up like that all over again." I said with a sigh, causing Mai to laugh as she had been waiting for me to ask such a question.

"Don't worry, I will tell you if you're about to make a mistake," Mai said to which I nodded lightly and went on to go learn a few Ki Master: Physical skills. It had better sensory-type skills and attack skills I could learn from. there were even better healing skills for me to pick from.

I could pick other Job Classes, but for now, I held it off. My next goal was to reach level 25, so I went on to walk around, using my sensory ability to expand the mini-map on the bottom right of my view, showing me everything around me. So, I went on to slaughter the monsters...

With the boost to my capability, I was far stronger. But I knew I could be stronger... why? Because I had no gear, I could put on gear to almost double my stats if I had the right gear But still, I was stronger, allowing me to even fight monsters at level 25, while I was only at level 7. this was mainly thanks to two reasons, I was fighting monsters, and my reaction speed was just too high. Adding the fact I put most of my stats into speed and strength, and the fact I was hard for attacks to hit me, I had zero worries.

Well, let's have another small time skip. By aiming for those with levels so high above mine, I was able to quickly level up. even so, the battles took a long time due to how powerful the monsters were. So, an hour passed before I reached level 25.

"Boss, just a small reminder. you have gained a unique Job class." Mai said while I sat down after killing 10 skeleton mages which were around level 30.

"This unique job class is for those who solo enemies levels above them. the requirement is to defeat someone 10 levels above you. It's called the Overshadowed." Mai said while I sat back, and went through the Job classes I could learn. there were many job classes, but the one I looked at was Overshadowed as it was a high-tier Job class.

there were 3 types of job classes, common, high, and rare. common had 15 levels, high had 10 levels, and rare had 5 levels.

Overshadowed is for those who had the power to overcome that level gap. it was a high-grade Job Class, and those with this job class had a high chance of a critical hit compared to others. This allowed for one attack to have a higher chance of killing someone with one hit.

"Thats not all, there is a second one called Madman you might want to look at," Mai said while I looked at the new Job class and my lips twitched seeing this job class.

This job class is for those mad men who run around butt-naked. to get it, one must level up 15 levels without equipping a thing or even using any item which I have been doing. I had collected items from dropped enemies, but I never used them since I didn't need them.

Madman was a job class which greatly increased the user's overall capability so long as they had no gear on. But that wasn't the only thing, the greater the levels I go without being equipped with an item, and also not dying, the greater the boost to my stats I would get when I level up.

This was a rare job class, which I of course went on to learn along with Overshadowed. Well, with those two job classes. with these two new job classes plus their skills, I was far stronger. I was at level 25, but I had the stats of someone at level 40. adding the fact I'm running around defeating those 10 levels above me, I guessed I should be able to defeat those at level 50.

"By the way, are there any hidden Job classes like this that need me to defeat those of a higher level?" I asked to which Mai nodded lightly.

"There is one that would be available to you once you defeat someone 25 levels above you without the use of gear or skills. there is one that needs you to defeat someone 99 levels above you, and the list goes on... small hint, the strongest race in the game would need you to defeat someone 99 levels above you." Mai said with a smile, causing my pupils to shrink as that should be impossible.

Why? The highest level for players was level 100. that hidden job class was asking one to be at level 1 and to defeat someone at level 100? was that not impossible?

"Boss, it's not impossible. In the novel, there was someone called a world enemy who had the power to fight around 33 level 100 players while being at level 100. he was also a player, you have no idea how big the game is. this game was released too early, it should have been released when the tech was ready for it." Mai said with a smile, making my eyes narrow slightly.

I did remember something about a player using a world item to turn himself into a world enemy. From what I remember, anything in the game that had the word world in it was powerful and could break the rules of the game. If someone could do it, then I could do it.

Well, let me first go on to use my stats points and skill points. I just leveled up 25, so I had a total of 22 skill points. Now, I went on to first put 9 into my racial class, before putting 4 into Madman, which maxed it out. With this, I gamed the Madman's special skill, Climax.

Climax was a special skill that greatly boosted my overall capability at the cost of my HP. so long as this skill is active, My HP would begin to drop. It boosts my overall capability by 50%, but no matter the amount of HP I have, it can only last 7 seconds before one dies.

But for a 50% boost in stats, that was huge. Just think about it, a level 100 player would have stats that could add up to 600 or so. Adding that my stats were already above those of the same level, then my added-up stats might reach over 2k by the time I reach level 100 once I use this skill.

With 9 more Skill points, I went on to put them into Overshadowed. After learning all of the skills I could learn, I sat back and looked at my current stats with a slight smile. I was at level 25, yet I looked as if I was at level 50.

That was my stats, my total stats added up to 460, which is above some level 50 players. I was already on the right path, with just my current capability alone, I was sir I would be the strongest player... who knows, I might already be the strongest character,

"With your current capability, I believe you should be able to defeat someone at level 70 or so. but would need Climix for that... you also have no long-range capability." Mai said dropping a hint, to which I nodded lightly. I had gained Ki Master, which was the complete form of Ki Master: Spiritual and Ki Master: Physical.

Once I learn a few more skills, I should have long-range attacks at my call. Plus, I could also learn the Monk Job Class and more. But I will log out for now, I should go search for a form of income so I can spend 1,000 dollars on this game...
