Return 5

Within the woods, a mansion could be seen. if one entered the mansion and went downstairs, they would find me currently researching cultivation. A near-perfect copy of a human stood before me.

"Recreating cultivation talent is troublesome, but it was easier than I expected. begin his cultivation, also try and see if you could minimize the energy needed for a breakthrough." I said calmly while looking at the man before me. the man closed his eyes and began to absorb energy.

if one energy control was good enough, could they lessen the amount of energy needed for a breakthrough? Well, that was something I wanted to find out. that didn't take long as my question was answered by a small fairy who appeared and sat on my shoulders.

"The greater the energy control, the less energy is used. this goes for both breakthrough and output. I also found greater benefits to this," the fairy said calmly. I looked at her slightly, with a raised eyebrow.

"Mai, what's with the form?" I asked calmly. this was of course the former Aesis. but I changed its name to MAI, which stood for, My Ai...

"What? do I look cute?" Mai said with a smile, which I ignored while looking at the man in front of me. I waved my hand, causing a screen to appear in front of me, allowing me to see the Qi usage the man in front of me was using.

"Let's do this. let's add some extra organs to improve energy control and also energy usage. his eyes should be special, like the 6 eyes from JJk. let's have his heart also be special..." I said while Mai looked at the screen in front of me,

"but that would form an unbalance with the body. this is built off using a human body if that what you want, we should rebuild the body, creating a whole new race." Mai said while showing her plans,

"Why can't we just add a balancer? sure that would add a weakness... but there should be ways around this" I said calmly. like that, we clashed a few times trying to find the best way around this, but in the end, I just shrugged.

"forget it, let first just learn more about cultivation, have him reach Qi Condensation," I said calmly. Mai nodded and went on to get to work. at a shocking speed, the man began breaking through levels. things that should have taken years were happening in seconds.

But this was understandable, after all, with the master level of energy control, adding the fact that Stringnites were bringing Qi to the man, he was able to break through at a high rate while minimizing any installability from so many breakthroughs and also minimizing wasting any energy.

"How interesting, this core has enough power as a nuclear bomb. but there are grades to these cores." Mai said while showing me a screen that showed all of the cores she had scanned from people.

"it seems like the purer the core, and denser the core the stronger one should be. there seem to be 4 types of cores." Mai said while having the core within the man go through all types of forms, each one getting harder and harder to make.

the lowest core was the mortal core, it was split into 3 levels.

the second type of core was an earth Core, it too was split into 3 levels.

the third type was the sky core, split into 3 levels,

lastly, the highest was the heavenly core, split into 3 levels.

each tier of core was far stronger than the last, no one on earth has anything like a sky core. but Mai using the Stringnites was able to discover all of these cores, forming them all without much hardship.

I went on to look at the screen, looking at the other readings. Qi Condensation realm experts had powerful bodies, and also energy they could call upon. it seems like they could cultivate either the body or one's energy, meaning either of the two could have nuclear levels of power... or both could.

"Should you not cultivate as well?" Mai asked calmly, to which I shook my head.

"I will be heading to Overlord. I plan to play the game meaning I would lose my body. so cultivation is useless. what do you think of me playing the game and creating a new body for you?" I asked stunning Mai. She instantly nodded, before going on to give me clear information about the type of NPC she wanted to be.

'by the way, system, let's say I get stronger right now, and I enter a new world just for me to get weaker. how would this affect you?' I asked while I and Mai got to studying cultivation.

{your current strength would determine the cool-down time. so if you grow weaker, the time you can stay in a world would drop.} The system said. With this knowledge, I nodded as I made plans for the future. So, I will cultivate before heading to Overlord

So, with that I had Mai get to two tasks. Mai would continue the research on cultivation, and also go deeper research into biology.

meanwhile, I went to first cultivate. with the Stringnites helping me out, I easily broke through to Qi Condensation. All of the Qi in the air just gathered, perfectly moving themselves to bring out the best possible benefits to Mai's calculation.

With Stringnites, I was truly like an immortal. I was able to mimic the powers of some powerful experts. I was a god as I could do just about anything.

With that done and with my strength improving greatly to tier 7, I reach the second milestone, passing the first milestone. at this milestone, I could stay in another world for up to 2 years, while the cooldown time was 4 months and 15 days.

Also, I found out that if I wanted, once the system had cooled down, I could return to my world, and wait some time for it to recharge before returning to the other world. this would reset the time I could stay in another world...

So, once I reached Qi Condensation, I went on to begin trying to do the Wood clone jutsu. why? because with more than one clone working together to do something, the faster the blank physique would show its power.

Unlike the shadow clone jutsu which only sends the clone experience back to the main body once they disappear. the Wood clone jutsu had this hive mind, allowing you and your clone to always live to some degree. I wanted to use this to best help me train.

So time passed. Earth was hit with a huge and shocking blow as Alex went on to start teaching biology, helping the world better understand how to make medication with the best side effects. many theorize that at the rate humans were learning, given them enough time, then the human lifespan would reach an average of 75 years, to 100 years in a year.

people believed that Mars would be colonized within 10 years if Alex could keep this track record. Many things were being improved, all by one person that made everyone unable but to look at Alex, wanting to know the next thing he would do.

Alex created a new company, calling it Cosmox. it drew a lot of attention, but it was too early for it to release anything. But it was something many people were investing in, with such a genius running it, it was clear that it had a bright future.

at the same time, a new law was passed. a law that allowed a born United States citizen to be able to run for president so long as they showed they were worthy. of course, if they are young, then someone of a senior age would be by their side. to say the least, this was something that would go through many changes, but in the end, the law would be passed allowing me to much more easily become the president.

But how would the world react to such a genius shining so brightly? The United States was already the leading power, and now this BS? Of course, Alex had to die. so assassins had to move and kill him while leaving no traces behind.

Standing before a group of dead men, Franklin's eyes were cold while cleaning the sword covered in blood. Franklin was smart to follow that immortal, as he had gained many benefits. for one, his cultivation had reached level 7 Qi Condensation. he was the strongest person alive on earth.

"These ants... my lord, should I not go and slaughter them all?" Franklin asked with a respectful bow while facing toward the woods where the immortal should be staying. even with it being miles away, he knew the immortal was all-knowing.

"Let them play... if they bug me I will erase them personally." Alex's voice sounded within Franklin's ears, sounding as if it came from all around him. Franklin nodded lightly, and with a wave of his hand, those bodies he just killed turned to ashes.

"Understood," Franklin said slightly annoyed that these ants didn't know their place. what annoyed him even more was that those clans in the United States were allowing this, wanting to test the immortal. he never knew such dumbasses could exist.

He was about to return to the immortal side, but all of a sudden he froze. he pulled out his phone which was ringing, and after answering the call, he heard his clan which was reporting that there was a powerful wild beast that was about to break through to level 3 Qi Condensation.

His heart instantly dropped. The world had no idea of wild beasts, but that was for the best. wild beasts were stronger than cultivators at the same level. wild beasts were animals that gained the power to cultivate, this made them smarter and more dangerous.

Many forests which have not been explored were forests belonging to wild beasts. let me ask you a question, why were there so many forest fires in Australia? The news would tell you something about the season, but in truth, Australia was a home ground for many wild beasts, and many times the battles there caused flames to swallow it.

but Australia wasn't even the most dangerous place, The Amazon rainforest was. even normal humans fully understood that the Amazon rainforest was dangerous, and the cultivators couldn't hide everything from there. leading to large snakes, and other huge and powerful wild beasts being seen... but they were truly just the weaker ones.

A wild beast reaching level 3 Qi Condensation, meant that it most likely would have strength to fight a level 4 Qi Condensation or even level 5 Qi Condensation if they had a powerful enough bloodline. with his current level of power, he was sure he could fight someone of stronger cultivation.

But could he leave his master behind? he had to rush over to Pittsburg, and since he was down in Texas at the moment, he was over 1,000 miles away. That was too far,

"You need not worry, it's dead." a calm voice entered his head, leaving Franklin stunned, he looked at the phone which began to ring. and when he answered, he heard his clansman telling him how the wild beast had just died. He looked towards the immortal, fear and respect growing in his heart...

meanwhile, Mai looked at the small gun she had fired. She had a deep look in her eyes, it was this gun that killed that wild beast 1,000 miles away. of course, it was made out of Stringnites.

"could be better, if only I could see someone use the Dao or something..." She said lightly, but she had yet to see such a concept...
