24 Conquering The New World 2

Clementine was a member of the Slane Theocracy's Black Scripture until she went rogue and became affiliated with Zurrernorn for protection. As part of the organization, she happens to be one of the Twelve Executives. Before Clementine went rogue, she once held the position of 9th Seat in the Black Scripture. Besides betraying the Scripture, she also stole the magical Crown of Wisdom from one of the Six Miko Princesses of the Theocracy. Because of that, she has chosen to flee from her homeland.

But she found not too long ago that the hunt for her had suddenly stopped. it was like the Slane Theocracy could not bother with her and had their attention on something else, so she came to see Zurrernor with the Crown Of Wisdom. 

While the limits in the New World prevent normal magic casters from surpassing anything beyond 4th-tier magic, save for a few exceptions, the Crown of Wisdom is an artifact that allows a user to bypass this limitation by using 7th-tier magic. However, for all its advantages, it has several severe flaws. One, it can only be used by one in 1,000,000 women in the Slane Theocracy. And two, which is a darker aspect of its properties, is the price of using this item. Once worn, the crown limits the wearer's thinking ability like a puppet, and it cannot be removed without leaving the wearer's mind ruined. The only way to nullify its power over the host is for it to be destroyed. But since this item is a national treasure, such a thought would be absurd.

Clementine was a powerful woman, even stronger than Gazef. Gazef was at level 40, she was at level 42. But she was a sadistic psychopath, obsessed with inflicting pain and torture on others. She wanted Nfirea to help her do just that, and Khajiit Dale Badantel one of the twelve core members of Zurrernorn, would help her and Nfirea with a Ritual he was getting ready to carry out.

But they wasted no time and quickly found that Nfirea was out of the city, it wasn't hard for Clementine to find the group of 8, but there were 4 among them that made her unease, Momonga, Evergreen, Shalltear, and Diablo were not simple people, so she needed Khajiit help, to ensure everything went perfectly.

So, when the group of sitting at a campfire, all relaxed, Clementine too the chance to take out the weaker members. Using a martial art and a throwing knife, she shot the knife forward at blinding speed, easily hitting her target on the neck. but the second knife was shockingly blocked, and the warrior in black armor made no wasted movement, using the force from her throw to spin himself around to face her,

But so be it, she had the undead move forward, she would find an opening to kidnap Nfirea before having her fun with these guys.

'So many undead... with our level dropped to 35, can we defeat them all while protecting them? Are they after us? Or are they after something else?' Momonga thought while looking towards the undead coming toward them. if these were normal undead, they could only be troublesome. but this undead seemed to be summoned in a way that allowed them to be stronger, making them around level 5. 

That wasn't too big, but when thousands of them were coming at you, it became a different story. These undead were weak, but their number meant that they could overwhelm them,

"I'm sorry for your loss... but this isn't the time for tears. Go on head, I will hold them off. they most likely blocked our path back to the city, so just go on ahead. I will catch up." Momonga cried, snapping the swords of Darkness member back to reality after seeing their friend's death. 

"... it's gone" The leader of the swords of darkness, Peter said while getting ready to leave. Evergreen, Shalltear, and Diablo both gave Momonga a questioning gaze, but Momonga just nodded toward them.

"Let some of the undead get past... Shadow, ensure Nfirea survives, but allow him to take some damage." Momonga said and from his shadow, a shadow shot out, entering Nfirea's shadow. At the moment, Nfirea was over the shoulder of the Swords of Darkness member called Dyne, the one with the beard. 

"What's the plan?" Diablo asked calmly while stepping forward, a sword appearing in his hands. although he normally fought with a chain, he had to use a sword for now, 

"Put on a good show... hopefully they can give us that opportunity. the main task is to make Nfirea loyal to the guild. for now, worry about destroying the enemy ahead... Evergreen, have you found the cause for all of this?" Momonga asked, to which Evergreen opened her eyes.

"Yes, the person to most likely throw the blades is up ahead. the summoner is moving towards Nfirea, but he isn't alone." Evergreen said calmly.

"Capture the person who threw the blades, she might be a warrior with a good understanding of martial arts. Shalltear, just bite them and turn them into undead. as for the summoners, I will go deal with them... they have some interesting summons they are not showing." Momonga said before running towards where the summoner should be, there he met with Khajiit.

"I'm afraid I have to disappoint you... the boy you're after is under my protection." Momonga said with his two long swords in hands, Khajiit sneered at Momonga while having the undead attack him, but Momonga easily cut through them all while shooting towards Khajiit who quickly stepped backward, stunned by Momonga's speed, while at the same time calling upon his trump card.

From the sky, a large dragon made out of the bones of many races appeared, attacking Momonga who smoothly turned his blade to clash with the Skeleton dragon, sending the dragon backward, leaving Khajiit stunned by such movement. 

'Such movement, how can he attack like that and with such power while running towards me? His footing was perfect for the task as if he already knew what was coming... how does someone have such powerful force?' Khajiit was stunned and couldn't understand what just happened, but he didn't waste time and had the skeleton dragon keep attacking Momonga while he cast buff spells upon the skeleton dragon.

Momonga was shot away and sent flying toward where the swords of darkness were, they were all running while looking back at the scene of Momonga fighting the dragon. how couldn't they be shocked?

As Momonga was slammed to the ground not too far away from them, with the dragon on top of him, they wanted to support him, yet to their shock, the dragon was sent stumbling backward by Momonga who shot towards it, blades in hands which moved to cut the skeleton dragon, but spells came from afar, shooting towards Momonga and forcing him to turn to cut through them, while smoothly dodging those that couldn't be cut.

Nfirea and the others were shocked by Momonga's fighting skills, even when the skeleton dragon moved to attack Momonga, the skeleton dragon had a hard time hitting Momonga, even with the support of the countless spells buffing it, and raining on Momonga. Momonga moved as if he could see the future, and went on to land a heaven-shaking blow on the dragon... but his attack power was too weak to do much to the dragon with all of the buffs, although it knocked it to the ground.

"What are you doing? Run!" Momonga yelled seeing them just looking toward his battle, this snapped them back to reality, sending them running as they knew they couldn't be of use in such a battle. and deep down, they knew Momonga would most likely lose. why? they thought he was a human, all that movement Momonga was doing would slow him down, and Momonga's attacks were not capable of doing much damage to the skeleton dragon,

So, they ran with all of their might. their hearts couldn't help but drop when soon, they saw a second dragon in the sky, shooting toward them. the swords of Darkness were ready to fight to the death, but Momonga's sword shot from afar, slamming into the dragon, and sending it falling to the ground.

So, they continued to run. Momonga remained to fight the two skeleton dragons, forcing them away from the swords of Darkness.

Diablo on the other hand was currently fighting Clementine. Even with Diablo having the war God job class, and having his body react perfectly to all incoming attacks, he was only at level 35, he was fighting someone at level 42, so the battle wasn't easy for him. But it wasn't easy for Clementine as every small mistake she made could allow Diablo a chance to come out of a bad position, giving him the chance to turn the tables.

What annoyed her most about Diablo was his face. he was calm throughout the battle, with no rage, no sadness, and not even indifference. Diablo had gained inner peace, affecting his mind was nearly impossible, and that annoyed Clementine greatly. Yet, Diablo enjoyed a good battle from time to time, so he asked Shalltear to leave her to him.

Shalltear was helping Evergreen in destroying all of the undead. Evergreen had controlled the grass to turn into sharp blades which held the undead still, since when they took a step, their feet were stabbed cleanly through by the grasses, which went on to hold them still, allowing Shalltear and her summons to quickly slaughter them. 

Clementine didn't have the time to split her attention to look at this, she wanted to flee, but Diablo wouldn't even give her that chance. One mistake could mean her death against this guy, something which pushed her mind into overdrive to survive.

"They should be far enough," Momonga said while he stopped holding back, he went from level 35 to 80 in the blink of an eye. with a flash, the two skeleton dragons were cut cleanly through while he continued a shot towards Knajiit who was stunned. Knajiit wanted to use the orb in his hands to heal the dragons, but Momonga threw his large sword, leading to his hand being cut cleanly off while the sword stabbed into the ground.

Knajiit cried in pain while stumbling backward and holding his arm which was missing a hand. he looked on in horror as Momonga landed in front of him, picking up the sword which was on the ground. Knajiit couldn't say a word as his head fell to the ground, and with him dying, the dragons fell apart, returning to a stack of bones. Momonga easily killed the rest of his followers, before looking towards Shalltear and the others who quickly finished up seeing all of the undead just drop dead. 

In seconds, they arrived before him, with a Clementine who was now a vampire thanks to Shalltear. Momonga looked at them for a moment, but slowly went on to speak.

"Now, it's time to get his faith," Momonga said before going on to tell them his plan, which left them stunned for some time. at first, it sounded basic to Diablo, but as he thought deeper into the plan, he realized just how deep this plan was. So, Momonga summoned a skeleton dragon, which shot off toward Nfirea...

"Alright, I already laid the groundwork for the takeover of the Re-Estize Kingdom. This girl here is Renner, my soon-to-be disciple. She is currently our spy, and will be helping us slowly take over the kingdom." Standing before Tabula and the others back in Nazarick, I spoke while an image of Renner floated at my side, and my words stunned everyone.

"A disciple?" Bukubukuchagama asked with a frown, to which I nodded lightly before going on to explain what I found out about Renner.

"pretty much, she is a genius. She is also crazy, she is pretty much heteromorphic in the body of a human. She easily betrayed her whole kingdom for the chance to be my student." I said stunning everyone, that such a human existed. 

"I want to get to the information Mai got from scanning the books, but I will wait for Momonga to return," I said to which everyone went quiet, 

"Anyways, I found my next target in all of this. the magic caster Fluder, is someone I guess might be at level 45 or so. but thats not important right now. Fluder is a man who seeks to have great power, ever since he gained the power to control a Death Knight for a short amount of time, he had madly tried to see if he could improve upon such a thing. He is a man who thinks magic is the key to everything... So, who wants to go get him?" I asked making everyone confused by what I mean

"There are 3 things I want to use Fluder for. the first is to get a spy within the Baharuth Empire. Second, I want to use him as a way to test our Nazarick defenses, which many of you might not like. But I want people to invade Nazarick, of course, fake Nazarick, but they would be teleported to the real thing." I said making Ulbert, Bukubukuchagama, and the rest frown as they didn't like this. 

"Although I can forcefully bring the dead back to life, I'm too lazy to keep doing this. so we should try getting new bodies for them to eat. this would pretty much help them out, and also give them a body to lay eggs in and stuff. Plus, having skilled people enter Nazarick while trying to go through all of the traps and stuff, is far better than me walking through everything, tanking all of it." I said to which they frowned as they thought about it.

Many of their creations needed food and a lot of it. some had to eat their kind to survive. they didn't like this as this was their creation. They can get one person and have them feed on them, before just healing him over and over, but as they found out, a person can reject being brought back to life unless the spell is powerful enough. but who had time to use such powerful spells for something like that?

"Lastly, this one would help me step into my 3rd reason. Someone just entered my home, I think I have the right to be enraged. Now, realizing that even as I stay here in peace, minding my own business, those from the outside world would come here to start trouble with me, it's clear I have to do something. I have to show them not to mess with me. now, would the Baharuth Empire be smart and support us, or give us a reason to destroy them? form there, we declare our kingdom." I said leaving everyone quiet as they didn't know what to say.

"With our kingdom and someone to recognize us, we would go independent once he punishes those responsible for entering our home. from there, we would have spies in the Baharuth Empire and The Re-Estize Kingdom. From there, I say we use these spies. We can have the current king of the Re-Estize Kingdom grow ill and die, the eldest son is a pain in the ass, so let's kill him. this leaves the second son and the daughter." I said calmly.

"the second son is a fool, I can see Renner wrapping him around her finger, leading to him coming to her for help every step of the way. but the burden of running an empire would still temper him, turning him into a worthy king... before all of this, I want to use a powerful spell. A spell which effect would scare the world, so when we work in the shadows to have the Re-Estize Kingdom provoke us into war, they would instantly submit. We when then swallow them into our kingdom, before forcing the empire to follow. this would then leave the strongest human kingdom, the Slane Theocracy... with the scare I showed them, it's hard to guess their next move. but if I were them, I would be a weak human who just suffered such a backlash... well, In fear, I would try and get support, but that support can only come in the form of a dragon unless they have a trump card." I said with a hint of a smile.

"You're hiding something." Punitto Moe said to which I smirked

"let's wait for Momonga for that part... but back to my plan... well, thats seems to be it. although there are other human kingdoms, with the Slane Theocracy down, they would submit soon after. All we need is to have them give us a reason to attack," I said softly,

"Your whole plan is built around this guy named Fluder even agreeing to help us. what if he doesn't?" Ulbert asked.

"Yeah, I don't like putting my trust in someone I don't know myself. I will need to see this guy first... other than that, I kind of agree with Igneel-san idea. but I think there is a better way around this." Peroroncino said while stepping forward, while I went to stand among everyone to listen.

"The Roble Holy Kingdom is ruled by someone called..." Peroroncino wanted to speak, but Bukubukuchagama cut him off.

"No!" Bukubukuchagama said coldly,

"He didn't even say anything?" We were all confused as to why she barely let him finish, and why Peroronchino had such a disappointed look.

"He saw a picture of Calca, he fell in love at first sight," Bukubukuchagama said leaving us all speechless while looking at Peroroncino.

"Then go there yourself if you want to get close to her, after Momonga, it's you. try and show off your skills or whatever to win her heart." I said with a shake of my head. Calca was considered one of the most beautiful humans in this world, understandable why Peroroncino fell in love with her.

Those of this world viewed the appearance of those from the game to be heavenly, but at the same time, we players viewed those of this world as heavenly beauties. I noticed we didn't notice just how good-looking we were, Bukubukuchagama on earth went from fat to healthy, she wanted to win someone's heart or something. She wanted to look cute, so she made her slime human form as hot as possible, but now she didn't think she was all that good-looking. 

"But it was my turn!" Herohero said as it was his turn to head out and explore after Momonga. I patted his shoulder lightly, 

"How can you get in the way of a man in love? Don't you know love would give him a power boost that would end in our downfall? we are villains, we can't stand in the way of love." I said making everyone freeze, and even I froze at my own words.

"we will not be defeated like that... right?" Ulbert asked, to which I thought for a moment.

"Find those with such deep bonds to experiment with. the princess has a human who deeply loves her, I want to know if he can shatter all limits for her sake. would he be able to fight off death if it's for her?" I said softly, before looking towards Bukubukuchagama who was looking at me, but she looked away seeing me looking at her.

"Anyways, anyone with a good idea?" I asked calmly, to which everyone thought for some time before Ulbert spoke.

"How about we cause trouble, let's say we summon a level 100 monster and send it around to cause trouble. that way, we can test and see how this world can stop it?" Ulbert said leaving me speechless.

"I like the idea... but what would the goal of the summon be? plus, if it just disappeared mid-battle, would it not make people wonder who could have summoned such a thing? unless we use an item to make it stay as long as possible, but we need to form a whole background behind this summon. what is it doing here? where did it come from?" Warrior Takemikazuchi said softly, 

"Thats simple, there has been an evil organization known as 8 Fingers that found a way to release dungeon monsters and control them," I said with a smile,

"I what that you are thinking, if we take over 8 fingers, we can use them as a shield. we can even have many of Nazarick people come out and work in a said few areas, but we have to first see this world's strength. As for the summons monster, we can say we gave it the wrong order and it lost control?" Punitto Moe asked to which I nodded in agreement

"But let's say they defeat it and come seeking answers. what would we do then?" Yamaiko asked to which I shrugged.

"it depends, if they want to destroy the kingdom, Momon the dark raven hero would stop it. he would also call upon his old Friend Igneel for help if needed. But Momonga isn't a warrior, so let's have someone replace him for the battles." I said with a smile to which everyone nodded slightly. but we didn't stop talking and went deeper into plans, which would be considered boring as we spoke for hours about what we should do... in the end, we waited for Momonga before we came to any real conclusion.
