chapter 2 Essence Crystal

All of a sudden Lio jump into a dark corner of the alleyway that he is currently in and push out a big garbage bin.

Suddenly the green man run around the bin and looked around but he didn't see Lio again.

Lio jumped out of the bin and swiftly put his hand around the choked green man's throat with all of his strength.

The green man suddenly stop moving as his body slumped down.

"Fuck" Lio shouted as he took the wooden case of arrows off the green man's back and took up the bow from the ground.

Lio put the strap of the wooden case of the arrow on his back and took out an arrow and load up the arrow.

All of a sudden a growl was heard and when he looked beside him he saw a man that was dragging his left foot.

The man swing his hand but Lio ducked and before he could do anything else he was pushed down on the concrete floor and hit his head.

The man was on top of him growling as he try to bite Lio but his hand was on the man's neck forcing him to stop.

Lio took out an arrow that have a sharp piece of stone on it and slam it into the man's head but suddenly Lio hit the hard surface of something.

Lio began having a curious feeling making him twist the arrow in the man's head till he feel the two sides of what seemed to be a stone.

Lio suddenly focused on one side of the stone making it drop out.

Picking it up, Lio inspected it for a few seconds it was a beautiful blue stone but suddenly a message appeared in front of him, and a somewhat familiar voice resounded in his mind once again.

[Essence Crystal of a Tireless Level 1 Goblin(Adult)→ +0.1 Strength, +0.2 Health, +0.1 Stamina]

Upon hearing the familiar voice, he smiled faintly.

"So that's how it is.

Are those our experience points? The essence of the monsters we kill?"

If that were to be true, killing thousands of Goblins would allow him to become hundreds of times stronger than the average human.

All of a sudden the crystal in his hand turns to dust.

Lio suddenly felt a small amount of strength enters his body but it was noticeable.

Suddenly he thought of something and walk over to the green man and began stepping in his head over and over.

The green man's head was somewhat soft.

A blue essence Crystal was now in front of Lio.
