HE WAS DRUGGED

Scarlet open the door slowly and carefully.

There was a delicate and pretty little woman hanging on the door. She was extremely stunning on top of that she was in her blue pajamas looking fresh and pure at the same time. Scarlet stares at him calmly but confusion can be seen on her cute little face.

"Who are you?" Scarlet asked. She had never seen him before just why the hell did he come knocking on the door so late at night.

Before he could answer and still in daze because of the woman in front of him. He never thought she would be one to open. He was push aside by another strong force from the person who rushes inside. The man got annoyed by his friend looking at his wife and losing words.

"Hello Madam. I am Mr. Clark's secretary. My name is Dam Landson." Dam introduce himself. He was sure that the woman standing there was his boss new wife. He was stunned why she was still up so late at night. It was not like she just wake up by them but she had not gone to bed.

"Please come in." she speaks gentle this time after nodding.

Seeing the man rushed in and directly went to the kitchen. Scarlet don't know what happen, why he look so angry and frustrated.

"What happened to him?" she asked Dam who was standing there with her.

Dam was also thinking of telling her but hesitate for while, in the end he directly said, "um...he was drugged by someone though he had taken medicine, seems like it has slow affect. It has been passed an hour already, turns out the drug was not simple." He was also amazed how his boss can handle this long he was with him so he knows how much CEO suffered.

Dam Landson wanted to see how Scarlet react but Scarlet was amused to know someone has a guts to drug such person. They know how fierce and scary he is and must also know about his marriage announcement. She must salute that person.

Scarlet also figured out what drugs it might be, looking at her husband and what Dam said earlier. The drugs must be from French, she smirked.

"Where you in bussiness meeting?" Dam was surprise by her question and she was so normal like nothing happened.

"Yes. We were." he replied.

"So careless."

Dam expected her to be worried not to hear those cold words. He looks at her with shocked.

"Are you staying here tonight?" A low husky voice came behind.

He was so cold and staring at Dam with that of tiger eyes. Rolland heard them and not happy with what Scarlet said.

"No boss, I'm leaving now." Dam didn't want to stay there longer if not for his friend permission he wanted to leave.

"Goodnight, madam." he said to Scarlet before leaving.

"Goodnight." Scarlet smile little. Dam seem to be warm and nice person in her opinion unlike someone here. She turn to see him only staring at her plain. Rolland walk to the sofa and sit, unbutton his shirt.

TV was on! Milk and snacks! Was she so hungry that he didn't feed her enough.

Though he was still uncomfortable he feel little better than before.Thinking of drugging him Rolland make sure he let those two suffer. He didn't expect Jack and Gammy to even try doing such lowly things. They have been on bussiness collaboration and to gain more they even sent Gammy to please him when he refused. They drugged him. Rolland was disgusted and leave before anything happens.

Dam help him to get some medicine and when he is suffering he still remember when Dam asked, " Do you want to go back to office or home?"

Dam know that his friend spent nights working in office sleeping there and not going home.

To his surprise Rolland said, " Drive home."

Rolland expect his wife to be sleeping but she wasn't.

Scarlet can see him in killing mood but somehow he seems like clearing his head. He must be in pain, she thought. She hurriedly took the things from the table which she left before standing.

Rolland was in deep thought that he hardly notice how quickly Scarlet grab the things, there was no sound in her footsteps. Is she some thief? He saw her turning towards the kitchen.

" Why are you still awake at this hour?" Rolland asked looking at her back which she stop her steps. He clearly know she didn't sleep.

" I was reading some book then got bored so I came down to watch TV." She quickly make excuses and said turning to him.

What book on earth did it keep her from sleeping?

Scarlet was relieved that he come home after her otherwise she was done for. He was just looking at her so she went in and keep her things without bothering. She was not happy since he ruined her peaceful night.

Rolland didn't know why his wife have to be so calm and seem to be cold towards him. But he just saw her smile to that damn fellow of his. He did not know that she feels uncomfortable around him because of his aura.

Scarlet came out to see him in dazed and turn to ignore him. After few steps, she feel it won't be polite not to say anything since she is going to sleep.

Rolland was leaning on the couch putting his left arm over his eyes. With his unbuttoned black shirt he was so attractive anybody would be lost in his charm. He then hear the sweet voice coming back not far away.

"If you are still uncomfortable you can take bath there is still enough ice in the box. I'm going to rest."

Rolland shifted his eyes to her if not for her voice he would have thought he was alone. She was damn so quiet.

But did she want me to take bath? He thought of it but he was too tired. She's concern about me. His lips curled up.

Scarlet feel like he had seen through her with those eyes. She didn't want to look at them. It's too sharp.What she didn't know was that her crystal eyes appears as sharp as his.

"Where is Uncle An?" She wants to leave him as fast as possible and he noticed that.

"He is resting."

Hearing him she lose posture. What kind of question is that. It's already late. Does he want others to wait for him sacrificing their sleep. Rolland know she was thinking too much seeing her reaction.

"Come here." He commanded her in low-cold voice like a boss. Others might shiver but she was calm and collected. Was he commanding her! It's funny.

Rolland keep his eyes on her without shifting. He keep his right hand on the couch supporting his head. Scarlet just stare at him and move little closer to the couch.

"What is it?" she asked not knowing what he want.

"Closer." That's all he said and pointed in the front.
